Came here for lunch recently and had a pretty good experience. I was a little nervous because the parking lot was busy, but they got us our order quickly. I ordered using the kiosk and everything was straightforward. There was a staff member who was running around and making sure everyone was receiving their to-go orders in a prompt manner, so that was nice. The food was prepared reasonably quickly, as mentioned, and everything was correct. I went there around 11am on a Sunday and they weren't very busy. The staff that I interacted with were friendly and were able to answer my questions about the menu. I like the screen they have to show you where you order is in the preparation process. I like that they have someone that does a check over the orders before the orders go out. I did however stick to the floor as I walked towards the drink machine. The drink area was extremely messy. My food tasted fine. Let's get the tough things out of the way first. It gets four stars because of the portion size. I don't mind typing in my order myself or the fact that I can't really see any employees around to help. A smiling face is nice every once in a while, but I get that they are trying to cut costs by doing what they are doing. I do, however, struggle to want to pay that much when it isn't enough to fill me up at lunchtime. That being said, the food is always delicious and there is something to be said for consistency. It is a friendly atmosphere with people always chatting and a genuine feel that the community eats there for lunch. Clean location and quick service. We ordered via the kiosk so, which limited a lot of interaction with the staff. However, it does ensure you have ordered the correct items. If not, it's on you - lol. We decided to eat in at this location, the space was clean and well lit. They didn't have booths or anything blocked off so we just made sure to sit away from the crowd. The staff did have on gloves and masks. When dining in they call your name when the food is ready, that was a little annoying because the person calling names didn't speak so loudly. So, you had to really pay attention or missed hearing your name called. The food was hot and correct. No issues at all. It actually was better than any other Panera I have had in awhile - we were very surprised at that. The soup had deep flavor and the sandwiches were fresh all around (bread wasn't old, tuna was good, veggies crisp). We would definitely give this location a try again while in the area. read more

Ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on bagel, a $7 sandwich. Hardly any bacon on the sandwich (see photo). Otherwise an ok sandwich, but not for $7+. Then they want a tip, I'm not sure for what? The tip screen pops up on the register as you order, what are you tipping for? The cashier to take your money? or the cook to make a skimpy sandwich? If it's for the cook, why would I tip before I even complete my order? I would have been irate if I tipped and got this sandwich. Someone should re-think the tipping process. This is my go-to location for all my catering needs and for lunch. Online ordering via the My Panera is extremely easy and they are always punctual. Caitlyn in Catering is fantastic and has taken care of my group orders for years. I also love the online order option where you can have your order delivered for $3 and track it in the app. You always get notifications and it is always accurate. The food quality is always high as it is at other Panera locations. Everything is packaged and presented nicely and the food is fresh and always full of flavor. The service is adequate but the restaurant at Beaver Creek in Apex is not very clean. The floors are often sticky and the tables are too. I get my food to-go. read more

Apex NC location is a disaster inside. There has been a water leak and water on the floor for MONTHS right near the food prep area. The place is dirty inside, the lighting is horrible, ceiling tiles and woodwork are filthy, as well as the entrance leading inside. The food for the price is just fair. Bagel and breakfast selection has dwindled. Coffee brewers were broken in August for several weeks. Not sure what is going on at this location, but it is in BAD shape. This location has steadily gone downhill. It was once my go-to fast food restaurant. Since then, prices have gone up while food and customer service quality have gone down. Food: Panera has severely limited the customizations which once made it special. In addition, the staff preparing the food today are not held to the same standards as of the past. Irregularities are regular. On my last visit, the soup was cold and a plastic lid was found inside my not full drink cup. Both of these occurrences pose health risks. Prices: Prices have gone through the roof. I used to get a meal for ~$10.00. A few short years later, I can find myself paying $15.00-20.00 for anything of sustenance. Customer Service: I waited 10 mins for the curb-side order after it said it was on the way. I ended up having to call to get someone to come out there. When the food was delivered, the soup was significantly cooled and there was a plastic lid inside my drink cup sideways in the drink. When I took my food inside, I was greeted by staff that didn't seem interested in helping. The manager immediately offered a refund in place of taking the time to remake the order. The least they could have done is give me a new drink. I left without anything to eat after a total of 40 mins wasted. read more

I love Panera. I came in from having a really bad day. The line was long at first. I guess they were having a shift change by the looks of it. But they brought out more cashiers and the guy who took my order, I think his name was Tyler, was very nice and gave me the bagel with the most cinnamon. Always fast, always good. I think the bagel could have been warmer but they do have a microwave. I'm just glad it was perfectly toasted and not burnt like the other location keeps doing. The mango smoothie is to die for. Came here for a dinner meeting and it was very cozy. I really love the kiosks by the entrance. Not only is it very convenient but it also gives you the total calorie intake of what you order. I like the 'pick 2' since you have choices of soup, salad, or sandwich. Prices are reasonable and you get a nice portion even of the half portion. Pathetic sandwich!! Paid $8 for this. This is their version of a Bacon Turkey Bravo. Pathetic. Now I love me some Panera. And I LOVE the Bacon Turkey Bravo. But never have I ever seen this at any other locations. The turkey looks like it was pulled literally from the package like the picture below and thrown onto the sandwich. One piece of bacon. Panera Bread is always a favorite of mine. the thing I really like is the electrical plugs for your tech gear. The sandwich's are excellent, I always mix and match. The down fall is the baked goods. There are some times during the day where it is not so busy. I have never had to wait very long to have my order taken. Once in a while I use the screen but if you have any rewards coming, better to do a face-to-face at the counter. I've been dining at Panera at Beaver Creek, Apex, since it opened. Terrible quality control on delivery orders. The last 4 times we ordered - they have gotten the order wrong and/or had missing items. When you call to let them know, and ask for a refund, they can't do it over the phone. Their system doesn't allow it. You have to come in and pick up your refund, or have delivery person bring you cash. During a pandemic! The whole reason we order delivery and pay online is to have a contact-free experience. I love panera but I have recently had a few issues at this location. I ordered a sandwich via rapid pickup and asked for extra sauce (my fav part about the sandwich :-) ) and when I got home I realized that I actually received lite sauce. I called the manager to tell them that I was unhappy and their response was sorry about that.... they had nothing to offer, my response was "I will just add mayo to it, thanks." The time before that I ordered something that was supposed to come with a bowl of soup, and I never received the soup.
