Good place and food. Fresh food and coffee never fails. Love to sit by the fire place and sip my cappuccino

This location gets worse and worse. No answering the phone. We keep ordering the pizza with pepperoni and bacon (they stopped sausage but won't take it off the board) and then forget the bacon and bread with the salad we ordered. Have to make the trip to Sterling where they at least get the orders right.

Green goddess cobb salad with chicken... highl recommend.

My family come to this Panera often. Great selection of salad, soups, sandwiches and desserts. I typically get the Green Goddess Cobb salad (delicious) and will sometimes get a sandwich (turkey club is my recommendation). Service is hit or miss here (depending on day and staff working). One time I ordered and ate in and my food came out quickly. This last time I came food took a lot longer (looking at limited cook staff working - it made sense why orders were coming out slow). Great selection of sodas and alternative drink products (juices, water and tea). Lots of seating however during a busy dinner or lunch hour you may have to wait to get a seat. Some of my friends say they come here to study or read. Good place to get fresh food or meet up and share a meal with friends.

Steel cut oatmeal with strawberries and pecans

This Panera has been my #1 go to by far for the past year+. But lately... First it was DoorDash taking over driving from one day to the next and suddenly what was working fine just ceased to be, prices went up, and selections narrowed (no more bagel breakfast sandwiches). This was partially not necessarily the fault of the people working at this store. Now, I'm paying the same pretty high price for what is obviously laziness or just plain malice: portions that are less than half full, such as the oatmeal I order almost every single day. Is it the anonymity of delivery? I'm not there at the curb to yell, "Hey, wait a minute!" that makes it easy not to care? I can always switch my love to Joe's and at least get the meats...and pancakes. Do better please - I have been a loyal customer for a decade, plus my entire family loves Panera.

My girlfriend and I came here and had a wonderful lunch on the patio. Both of our meals were great and very fresh. I got the strawberry poppyseed salad and bravo sandwich, both were great and all the fruit was fresh. A young gentleman tried smoking on the patio and the manager came out and handled the situation very well. For the inconvenience the manager gave us both free cookies. I appreciate the service and food we both got.

This location is the food redemption for all failed Panera's in the area. Don't divorce Panera yet until you come here. I have never received less than hot food and great customer service. I have what I paid for!! I want to jump up and click my feet in the air! I wish my camera can capture the steam from my food delivered from this location. I get excited when I get hot food. All Panera's in Loundon county should take notes from this place! FYI this during lunch rush. Great job!

Great bowl concept just not a fan of dark meat and this is not because there's teriyaki in this dish.

Ok so ordered the "broccoli, w chicken bowl", rice is included. This bowl was 13.99 w tax, got it to my car and was super sad - reason you ask, well I don't normally order chicken dishes anymore because I don't trust the chicken. This dish is why, all dark meat, not remotely appetizing. I'm pretty picky about the meat o eat from restaurants and was just hoping this one would be different. Panera has great pastries, soup and some salads that are great. Customer service was good, but boo on the chicken. Hope it helps another picky eater.

Compared to the Panera Bread in Herndon (Elden Street) and Reston (Reston Town Center), this place is just so-so.

Ordering online, arriving at the store to just have the order not even prepared yet. I recently just visited on 4/23/2026 and it was the worst of them all. They were out of about 3 ingredients that went with my hot honey chicken bowl. The worker there did not know how to even make my bowl he kept having to look at the instructions on how to even make it. To add to that the blackened chicken wasn't even available as I ordered and was told when he was halfway done making it. Of course as soon as I paid for my meal the cook from the back walked out with a fresh batch of blackened chicken. The worker preparing my bowl didn't even bother to go back and check as he was making it to see if anymore was being prepared. All he did was say "sorry" and smirked as I walked out. The slaw that goes with my order was just raw onions, and also missing other ingredients. This location is horrible and it will be THE LAST time I go back. Ever. After locating my friend, we discussed her recommended dishes since she frequented Cafesano. She eventually stated that I wouldn't be disappointed with the skewers, so, I decided to commit to the Steak and Shrimp Skewers. With the busyness of the Friday crowd, I expected there to be a wait time with ordering our meals, however, the order line essentially was non-existent, which was a win. The cashier was nice and efficient. However, when it was time for my food to come out, it took quite a bit of time. But, eventually my food came out fresh off the stove, which I appreciated. On to the taste of the dish. Unfortunately, with the promising words from my friend paired with the reviews, my expectations for this dish may have been quite high, causing immediate disappointment. I sadly felt like everything on my plate lacked flavor. The meat could have been seasoned/marinated better giving a more flavorful skewer experience. The portion size was good and price was very affordable. As it pertains to parking, the options were abundant.

Started with an espresso martini, a smoked Old Fashioned, and the fritto misto to share. Everything was really good. Then we split the lamb burger and the shrimp risotto for lunch. Come on, that's an instant five stars in my book. We ended up talking wine with him for a good part of the afternoon. He had us sample a few different pours before we landed on a Nebbiolo we loved. Later, after another conversation about wine, he brought over a taste of a white we'd never even heard of because he thought we'd enjoy trying it. It never felt like an upsell. It just felt like talking with someone who genuinely enjoys wine and likes sharing it with people. Relaxing patio, great food, excellent cocktails, and genuinely memorable service. We'll definitely be back, and Onyx probably will too.

However, this visit was not their best, and unfortunately the overall experience reflected that. For today, I would rate it three stars, primarily due to service-related issues. The main concern centered around how certain requests were handled. When customers ask for extras and are willing to pay the additional charge, there should not be unnecessary back-and-forth or a sense of resistance. Clear communication and a positive attitude go a long way, especially when guests are already paying premium prices. Another issue involved food quality and attentiveness. If an item such as rice is running low and only the hardened portion from the bottom remains, it would be better customer service to simply let guests know that a fresh batch is being prepared and ask for a few minutes of patience. Instead, receiving rice in that condition understandably created frustration, particularly for my wife. When a meal for two totals $50 or more, guests naturally expect a higher level of care and consistency. To be fair, the food here is generally good, which is one reason we continue to return. The atmosphere was also pleasant, and we were grateful to spend quality time together--something we do not often get the chance to do. Those positives matter and should be recognized. Most importantly, the manager was the saving grace of the visit. He was courteous, professional, and accommodating when my wife addressed the concerns. That is exactly how customer service should be handled, and his response helped improve an otherwise disappointing experience. Overall, this simply felt like an off day for a restaurant we normally enjoy. We still like this establishment and hope they do better next time, because businesses should remember that guests may be choosing their location to make a rare outing or special moment enjoyable. With stronger service consistency, they can return to the standard we know they are capable of delivering.

What a wonderful experience! The restaurant is a very, quite spacious and very welcoming. It's right next to a lake and so the setting was lovely. We had an indoor/outdoor room with doors that opened to the outside. I had a raspberry lemon martini with a sugared glass rim. Very nicely presented. They have a very varied menu and they also have a large gluten-free menu. We both had the lobster bisque as a starter and then we both ordered the fish tacos. The soup was filled with lots of lobster meat and was delicious. The fish tacos were made with cod and the waiter mentioned that the slaw had some habanero chile in it. I asked if it was spicy and he said it might have a slight kick, but was not spicy. He was absolutely correct and in fact, if he hadn't mentioned the habanero I would not have picked up on it at all. It was really good. If you order bread, (and you have choices on type), you are charged I think a dollar per order, but that is donated to help people who are food challenged. We were full from our dinner, but we could not pass up an order of key lime pie for dessert, which we shared. It was a hard choice because they had a special dessert which was chocolate peanut-butter pie. I wish we could have had both. Their other desserts also sounded great. By the way, a portion of their revenues from desserts are also donated to help those who need food assistance. I was very impressed that they do that. I want to mention that the wait staff was also great. Friendly, attentive, but not over-bearing. I can't say enough about Sweetwster Tavern. For a weeknight, this restaurant was surprisingly busy, which felt like a good sign! Dinner started out with trying some of their appetizers. We got the Tex Mex Egg Rolls as well as their special Burrata appetizer. The Tex Mex Egg Rolls came with four tasty mini egg rolls filled with smoked chicken, corn, black beans, onions, peppers, and jalapeño jack cheese. They were served with a creamy avocado dipping sauce that added a cool, refreshing contrast to the savory filling. Overall, these were a light and flavorful way to start the meal. The Burrata special was also pretty good. It came with three crisp breads, cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, extra virgin olive oil and drizzles of balsamic glaze. I loved the buttery, creamy burrata paired with the juicy cherry tomatoes. I also liked how the basil pesto and balsamic glaze gave a bright, herby flavor. For my entree, I opted for the Wood Grilled Chicken Breast. Two generous pieces of tender grilled chicken were served over angel hair pasta tossed in brown butter sauce, alongside roasted cremini mushrooms and green beans. Interestingly, I got a lemony flavor in the brown butter sauce, which was unexpected but surprisingly delicious. I especially enjoyed the roasted cremini mushrooms. These were earthy, meaty and full of flavor! Overall, I really enjoyed my dinner at Sweetwater Tavern. From the flavorful starters to the hearty entree, it was a satisfying first dinner in Dulles. I'm glad I took the hotel receptionist's recommendation. Locals know best!
