First really fantastic visit to Panera. Despite an entire Tennis team ahead of us in line we were able to order quickly. I decided on soup and sandwhich, Squash soup and Zesty Italian Bagel a bit pricey for lunch but very delicious. Perfect pairing of creamy and slightly spicey. My only somewhat cautionary comment is that the salt content of the food is definitely on the very high side, especially the bread. I will add Panera back into my regular rotation and hope they will keep up the more unusual seasonal offerings

Panera Bread on Robert C Daniel Pkwy Augusta, GA. Food: Ok, the star and my personal go-to, the broccoli cheddar soup. It's so tasty and comforting. The cheese steak sandwich was good however Panera sandwiches always seem to be more bread than meat. The chicken sandwich was really good. I had pause with the added avocado nevertheless a really good sandwich. Service: Caleb was a great cashier. Friendly, and competent on the new menu items. He really has the personality for line of work! Ambiance: Really big and spacious establishment , booth and table seating.

I was not at all happy with my sandwich. I got there New Philly cheese staek and was very disappointed. There wasn't very much caramelized onions or Perry peppers, and the amount of meat they used was probably just enough for half of a sandwich spread out. I would have been better of going to Firehouse subs or McCalisters. I gave 2 stars because the brownie was actually fresh and delicious. I came here to help fundraising that was being done for a dog rescue group. That will be the only reason I ever go to Panera in the future.

It's Saturday 6:00 am -July 4th and I'm wide awake wanting Panera. Robert C Daniel location opens at 6 and I just go to my Panera app. place my curbside order, select the time- I chose ASAP. Once that's selected and you arrive there's an option on app to check that says I'm here .. As soon as I pulled up that's what I did and a nice Panera associate walked right out with my order. It's that simple! I smiled and said yippee I love curbside. If you're planning on getting a to go order I suggest you download the app it saves a lot of time. After 5 visits you're rewarded with (ex.) $1 off a beverage, a free pastry, $2 off order.... etc... it's just random. I can say I often get emails throughout the month for $2 off lunch or 20% off you pick 2 which is half of any two items.. I guess I go there way too much.

Where on my receipt does it say chicken noodle soup?!

Really?!? I ordered a cup of cream of chicken wild rice soup and I got chicken noodle soup. I also ordered it to go and I had to ask the guy to give me a spoon because that was not provided. And the baguette I got is hard as a rock. Seriously, how hard is it to read a ticket and put the correct soup in a cup?! And the audacity to ask for a tip. Why? Can't even give me what I ordered.

Meh. I mean Panera is always great food right? So I guess it was the service? The lack luster staff? We were on a road trip and so glad to find a place to take a business call and find a familiar lunch. But maybe the staff is just getting use to being helpful or friendly? Order took a while. And it felt like the guy was talking at me instead of to me. Maybe next time in another location will be better. The menu has expanded a lot. Which is a plus.

So, honestly I had trouble writing this review because I was torn about the rating to give the restaurant. So the rating is low because of the service I got from Panera in Augusta. So this review should NOT speak for all Panera Bread. I arrived roughly at 11am before the lunch crowd. Their service was awful. First the cashier that was taking my order did not know how to purchase a gift card. The gift card amount was clearly not explained to me about it be two separate gift cards. (Who wants to give a gift card amount on two separate cards?) The plastic divider at the cashier made it difficult to hear what the cashier was saying and she could not even hear my order. I think it didn't help there was a food machine behind the cashier that was very loud. I think someone at the restaurant would have noticed that placing the machine there behind the cashier was going to make it difficult to hear your customers since it was pretty loud. So besides the gift card mix up upon purchasing, the cashier had to call her manager since she was unfamiliar on how to do a gift card transaction. When I asked the manager to merge the gift card so I can give a single gift card as a gift, she told me afterwards that this cannot be done. I kind of wish I knew this up front. After the ordering process was finished. I figure smooth sailing. Well the cashier apparently handed me my beacon to let me know when my food would be finished. In this day of COVID, wouldn't it been easier to have my food brought to my table? The restaurant was packed and I did not see people social distancing. Even when picking on the food at the food counter, there where at least four people crammed together waiting to pick up their order. Upon picking up my food, I realize they had forgotten my side order. I realize it after taking picture of my sandwiches. I guess no QC at the food order So onto the food. I got a 2 - 1/2 sandwich, a steak and cheddar and a tuna salad. The steak and cheddar with red onion was mouth water with the cheddar balancing out the steak juicy-ness. For the next 1/2 sandwich of tuna, I was pretty disappointed with the tuna salad. It came across rather bland the croissant type of bread, could have been better served on a baguette instead of the bread of the tuna salad. I would probably go back to Panera, but at a different location, because the crowd, difficult parking. spot and traffic, the lack of social distancing makes me avoid this particular Panera

I love coming to this Panera bread because it's always clean, relaxing, the food is great, customer service is friendly, and is spacious (perfect for studying). Their food never fails to make me happy, my favorites including the Greek Salad, soup in a bread bowl, cranberry walnut bagel sliced and toasted, pecan roll....so many things! They are a little on the pricey side, but it's understandable as they use natural ingredients and bake their bread fresh daily. This time I came on a Sunday morning to buy their breakfast soufflé. I originally wanted a spinach & artichoke soufflé but they sold out of that so I got a ham & swiss instead. I love how flavorful it was, and that it was packed full of ham. The quiche was a little salty for my liking but otherwise it was great. Next time I'll try their spinach & artichoke one :)

The food was good, but maybe turn up the thermostat so it's not snowing in your restaurant. That way I could enjoy my meal more.

The fried rice wasn't oily or dry, best part was how's the portion was. Got a side of 6 piece gyoza which was meat and vegetable filled; that was also non oily and fried just right. Took about 7-8 minutes for the order to come out which was a fast then around. Plenty of room for dining & facilities were pretty clean. They also have other menu items like bubble teas and ramen. Definitely a diverse menu, will certainly be back.

Solid 3/5 star pho experience compared to competitors in the area…read more I ordered the rare steak soup, beef fried rice, and House special soup. The house special soup is your broth with a mixed collection of different meats. There was barely any tendon or couldn't say it was much of a meat variety. Wasn't sure what the cut was, but it was very dominant. The rare steak for my soup was pretty chewy & noodles in both soups were blocky. Just in chunks we had to break apart or just bite through the block. Wasn't a fan of how large the onion pieces were and it was fairly oily. The beef fried rice was actually good. Wasn't too oily or dry. Their Pepsi zero tasted very watered down. Plenty of seats to dine in, fairly quiet, and plenty of parking spaces. Service was okay. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry. Save room for cake.

We also ordered an order of lotus leaf sticky rice, fried pork glutinous dumplings, taro custard pastries and a bowl of hot and sour soup. The dim sum sampler was surprisingly pretty. The color of the veg crystal dumplings was one of the most insta-worthy things I've ever seen! The taste of everything was a-ok. Definitely worth a try, though! We loved the fried poor glutinous dumplings - fried to crispy perfection without being overly greasy. And the taro custard pastries were the perfect not too sweet way to end the meal.
