It's been awhile since I ate at Olive Garden and saw they had the steak Gorgonzola back on the menu. I was sat right away and my server was kind and prompt. The food on the other hand could've been better. The steak Gorgonzola tasted like I remembered, but the steak was like rubber. I've never had a medium steak that seemed as if it was well done by the texture. I ended up getting a tour of Italy and it was cold, but I had it to go. We came here on Mother's Day and expected a long wait but even with how packed it was our table for 5 was sat within an hour. My wife sat at the bar while we waited and had a great time conversation with other guests also waiting for their table. The service was quick despite the crowd and our waitress was super friendly and did not rush us at all. The food came out within a reasonable time, but we were snacking on the breadsticks with the Alfredo (must have) as well as some calamari that was so good we all inhaled it before I could snap a photo. Everything was phenomenal and we all left fat and happy. This was our first time at the new location and it was very spacious and sectioned off well to where you could not really notice how busy it was. read more

Amazinggg experience with our server "Trouble." She refilled our breadsticks and salads before we were fully done, very attentive. Filled our soups to the brim, the breadsticks were fresh and warm every time. Place was also pretty quiet but that's a given considering it's a Monday night. read more

We came in with a party of 8. Our table was ready in about 5 minutes. It was not loud in the restraunt even though it was busy. Our server was great. He kept checking on us to see if our drinks were good and if we needed refills on any of our food items. All of the food came out hot. They was not stingy on the cheese either. Ordered the new menu item portobello mushroom ravioli with creamy mushroom sauce and was given cheese ravioli instead. When I asked about it, the server and the manager both threw each other under the bus, one saying the company doesnt have the mushroom raviolis (despite the menu clearly saying it was available) and the servers werent told this and the other that the servers shouldnt have been able to put that item in to order so she must have rung up the wrong item. Didnt once offer to refund me for the meal I did not get or replace it with something else. The gaslighting was not appreciated. Cheese ravioli is not mushroom ravioli, and i am lactose sensitive. I can tolerate a little but that was way too much cheese and the manager was totally condescending to me, like it was my fault i didnt get what i ordered. Wont be eatimg here again. read more

The follow according was fantastic. All of our food came out on time, hot fresh, and of course delicious. The staff member were amazing and really friendly to our children. They gave them the coloring packets and were very respectful when they place their orders treating them the same as regular customers. They're serving sizes were perfect. OG is mostly similar through the country and consistent. Food good and service very good. This restaurant is relatively new, which surprised me that some of the seating is ripped up. The only negative comment I had is that the bread sticks were hard, once replaced great. Typically this is a 3-4 times a year visit mainly because I have favorite restaurants closer. read more

The last time I ate at Olive Garden the service and food were both not great and kept me from going back. My aunt wanted to come to the new Olive Garden location for her birthday. The service was fast and efficient, especially considering the amount of people there on Christmas Eve. The salad had just the right amount of dressing, when they normally skimp on the dressing. We ordered: Kids spaghetti and sauce Fettuccine alfredo Chicken and shrimp carbonara Gluten free pasta with shrimp and sauce Tour of Italy Calamari (not pictured) Everyone was happy with their food, but the lasagna was as a bit dry. Dined on July 9, 2025, between 4pm and 5pm. At the newer River Watch location. MUCH improved from the Washington Rd now closed location. We were quickly seated by the hostess and in the type of seating we requested. The waiter was named "Chance" yes seriously his name is Chance. He quickly saw to our drinks, appetizers and main course food order. Everything started arriving quickly (3 mins) and in the proper order. The Soup and Fried Calamari were correctly cooked and both tasted great. The Bread Sticks were hot and soft, hitting the taste spot just right. The butter only added to the over taste of the bread sticks.. Chance and the Asst. Mgr. both frequently check back with us and other diners, making sure everything was correct and our drinks (Ice Tea) were refilled. Once the Appetizers items were finished, the plates were quickly removed. The main course item "Lasagna Classico" arrived within 3 to 4 minutes. The Lasagna was seasoned properly and tasted excellent. But alas, we had reached the full mark about 3/4's into the main course and requested take out boxes. NOTE: I am a retired Road Warrior, and I used to eat out 3x day for 4 to 5 days a week or more. I can honestly say over my 20+ year RW career, I have eaten out well over a 3,000 times. I have been waited in restaurants ranging from Fish-n-Chips hole in the walls, the Bag of Nails both by the London train station, to NY style Pizza in Hanger lane, UK To, NYC, Newark, DC, many US Metros and yes even a few 4-Star Michelin restaurants due to clients. I would put "Chance", that waited on us, on my top 20 ever list. He was always seeing to our needs and checking on us. He was polite and very friendly in dealing start to finish with us. My wife and I had lunch here. The meal was very disappointing. They both tasted as if they had come out of a microwave oven. We did however enjoy the all you can eat salad, which was outstanding. The restaurant was very clean. The parking lot was very accessible and the service was good as well, but unfortunately this review is on the main course which did deserve a two star rating. read more

I was so excited to go to Olive Garden had my mouth ready for the salad only to be disappointed. The onions we're not fresh and really changed the taste of the salad. I did inform the waitress, but she went on to say that the salads are fresh. She did bring out another bowl and it still tasted the same on the other hand. The gnocchi soup was amazing so hot and good. Only had a few gnocchi but it was still good. The bread was nice & hot! I did order the chicken Alfredo with broccoli. I forgot to take a picture. Decided to treat myself to an early birthday dinner after work and decided upon this new location on Riverwatch. Service was a little slow at the time but it was ok because I beat the evening dinner crowd. The food wasn't spectacular but not bad either. The chicken and gnocchi soup was lukewarm and watery so I was fine with one bowl. The eggplant Parmesan was ok as well as the Alfredo noodles. The dessert was the best part and I didn't eat that until a few days later which was the chocolate lasagna. It was a normal Olive Garden midday crowd so the noise level wasn't excessive. Food is decent. My family and I have been there twice and both times the service was pretty bad. Went for my older kids birthday (twins) (22yo) my youngest daughter who's 11 got her food 20 minutes after everyone else had been served and was finished eating. Other little things kept happening like servers bringing wrong dishes etc. Something similar happened the first time ate there. It seems like they're understaffed. For a first timer at Olive Garden, I must say that the service and food were impeccable. I enjoyed every part of my meal and look forward to going back soon. The atmosphere was definitely fitting for the restaurant. I started out getting the Stuffed Ziti Fritta Appetizer which was recommended to us by the waitress. It was very delicious and it was so good I forgot to take a photo of it before it was all gone! My soup of choice was the Chicken & Gnocchi. For never having that kind of soup before I'm very impressed. My entree was the Lasagna Classico and is a large serving leaving me unable to finish it! However the taste was great leaving me very pleased. Finally for dessert I had the Black Tie Mousse Cake. This dish was truly exquisite. I enjoyed every bite. It had the smooth consistency with a little crunch from the chocolate. Overall it was outstanding showing for Olive Garden and I'm very happy to award it five stars. read more

We decided to give this Olive Garden a try on a Friday night. We got there at 4:45pm and we were informed there was a 45 minute wait to be seated. We got our names on the list, then sat outside and waited for the text saying our table was ready. About 45 minutes later we were headed to our table to be seated. Our waitress introduced herself and took our drink and appetizer order of mozzarella sticks. Once our drinks came we placed our food order- a build your own pasta and all you can eat breadstick soup and salad. We got our salad and breadsticks in a timely manner. But our drinks were empty and did not get refilled for a long time. Our waitress seemed to have disappeared at this point in the evening. We sat and chatted while we waited for our waitress and food. We were starting to get impatient as we were hungry and had been sitting there for at least a half an hour waiting for our main course and drink refills. We eventually caught sight of the waitress and got her attention. She brought us our food and drinks, finally! As soon as she gave me my first bowl of soup, I immediately put in a request for the Italian zupa, in the hopes that it would be done by the time I finished my first bowl of soup. My chicken and gnocchi soup was lukewarm, but good. My husband said that his build your own pasta was delicious. If our waitress was more attentive our experience would have been better- my soup would have been hot and we wouldn't have become impatient waiting for our food and drinks. We may come back to give it another shot, and hope next time the service will have improved. read more

Visited Olive Garden today at Cabela Drive in Augusta. last two times we have been there the silverware was not clean and asked for replacements. Also food was barely Luke warm when we were served. I will say the waiter was attentive and helpful. Come on Olive Garden you can get better at the basics of serving a clean hot meal. read more

4 stars for an Olive Garden is good. Service good not great, food good not great. Kitchen messed up order and server did not catch it. OG is OG there are standards they have and in some cases are better than most other restaurants in Augusta. Unfortunately I have found only a few restaurants which are A - A+ in the CSRA. read more
