I haven't been to this particular Panera in a while because! When it first opened, the customer service was horrible... orders took FOREVER, like unbelievably LONG. I decided to give it another try... I ordered a pick two with a chicken noodle soup with a side of bread and a bacon Turkey bravo minus the cheese and tomato. I thought this sandwich used to come with avocado back in the day, but I guess I am wrong. I also ordered my husband some food... a salad and a hot sandwich. I didn't wait very long in line- surprisingly! There were about 4 or 5 cars ahead of me and with my experience, previously, I was worried...but, all was well with customer service! Now, the bacon Turkey bravo I had I was disappointed with. I could have sworn that sandwich didn't used to come on rye bread.... Whatever this bread was it was not the simple... white baguette or sandwich bread I wanted it on. I feel like they need to add confirming what type of bread you would like for your sandwiches. I couldn't eat the bread.... I did eat the bacon. Turkey, and lettuce.... A total waste of money..... the soup was okay.... My husband enjoyed his! It will be a while until I am back at Panera for lunch... not very satisfied....

Stopped by for a quick bite. I am assuming the gentleman at the register was new. It took 10 minutes just too check out. I ordered a tea and scone. I normally order the orange scone but they were out of them so I opted for the blueberry. It was just okay, pretty dry. I definitely will be going back to the orange! Dining area was clean and cozy with the fire going.

My favorite food are the mac & cheese and the chocolate chip muffin and it is always delicious

Came here while in the area because it's marketed as a new concept Panera, and is on legacy Route 66. Mostly consistent with other locations, but it was decorated much nicer and had some additional menu options. Food and service were both great! Nothing revolutionary in my opinion but a fine Panera.

I didn't want to be a paparazzi taking photos of people sitting and eating, so I go this shot of the waiting area near the food pickup.

This was a really interesting restaurant and absolutely perfect for a work day lunch with friends…read more Counter service moves quickly and it was easy to find a table when we arrived at 11:30 on a Thursday, but there was a line out the door before we finished our meal. I had checked online and was concerned about portion size, but the meals were perfectly portioned. I got the chicken enchilada bowl and it was very yummy. It was a little spicier than I was expecting and the "sauce" was almost a queso, but it was incredibly fresh and light and I didn't finish it. A friend ordered sweet potato fries and a lemon cupcake for us th split. The fries were jus barely overcooked so they kept sticking to my teeth, but the dilly-heavy ranch sauce was divine and went perfectly with the sweet fries. The lemon cupcake was super moist and delicious. I wish I had paid more attention and gotten infused water from the entry instead of the plain water from the dispenser. Perfect lunch, will definitely go back!

I took a gander at the menu and decided on the grilled chicken rice bowl and a small piece of the pistachio baklava all to go. It wasn't long until my food was ready and off I went. Since I was hungry, I figured I'd try the baklava to hold me over until I got home. To my surprise, it was freezing cold! I've never had cold baklava in my life, so suffice to say it was a bit unsettling. Since I was focusing on how cold it was, I couldn't even tell you if it was actually good. Since the baklava wasn't hitting, I was really hoping the bowl would but unfortunately, that, too, came up short. There was a garlic sauce on top but it did absolutely nothing for the bowl. I think the bowl lacked flavor and was disappointing considering how good it looks in all the pictures. While my first experience wasn't the best, I'd be willing to give them another shot but it won't be anytime soon.

Seems like it's probably mostly take out food ordered from them, so it's not real noticeable to those stopping in just to pick up their food. But we ate in, and saw the place up close and personal, including the bathroom. A bit worrisome.

I'm not sure what this place even is, despite having dined there yesterday. It serves breakfast,…read morelunch and dinner, and doesn't seem to specialize in anything in particular. It's in a weirdly large building that looks like a place where you'd go to get lasik surgery. I visited after a run on a day where the heat index was like 109, so I didn't spend that much time inside, just enough to drip sweat all over the front counter and the floor in the vestibule. We sat outside in an area that seems like the place where you'd pull up and unload your luggage at a hotel. A member of our group says she once attended some sort of Xmas pop-up in the basement here where you were charged a cover and then expected to pay for drinks and pizza, so... uh, caveat emptor. We ordered at the little bar up front, but I'm not sure if that's also the case if you dine inside. These places always flip out when there's umpteen different people ordering separately, because they only have but so many of those numbers you set on the table so they know where to bring your food. It ended up not being an issue with us, because who else was going to engage in al fresco dining during a heat advisory? This place serves pizza, but it didn't look that good in the few photos I saw. Granted, food often looks like crap in Yelp photos. Also, there's an emphasis on '90s-style health food, organic ingredients and what have you. There's a Salmon BLT that's featured prominently that seemed like it might be the thing to get, but I didn't know enough about this place to be ordering fish, and I'd already been meaning to eat a bacon cheeseburger for the past several days. Maybe next time. There is no bacon cheeseburger as a separate menu item unto itself. I figured I might just order a cheeseburger and add bacon, but I'm not sure if that's an option, and this wasn't a regular cheeseburger. It had a few different weird cheeses on it, spinach and maybe some other things. Then I saw the Dill-bert, which seemed like it might be really good. It has, among other things, dill Havarti cheese (whatever that is), avocado, and of course, bacon. It's served on a wheat bun, which, whatever. Its name is not a tribute to Scott Adams, as far as I know, but this is Ballwin. The Dill-bert did not disappoint. No Diddy. The beef comes from one of those special farms where the cows are all given names as if they were human beings, groomed on a daily basis by trafficking victims and read bedtime stories, and you really can taste the difference. It's a better quality meat. It's also expertly prepared. It's well-seasoned and cooked until it develops a nice char on the exterior. It was a bit more done on the inside than I require, but that may have been unavoidable. For a side, there was an option of tater tots cooked in an air fryer, like if your mom was feeling lazy. I didn't see any french fries, but maybe I'm going blind. I ordered a side salad, which is my thing these days. Sometimes they're surprisingly good, and a french fry is a french fry, unless you're at McDonald's. This one was pretty good, but it was definitely on the health-food side of things--very fresh and lightly but sufficiently dressed with something citrus-y and not too oily. Oh, and I was duped into purchasing a whiskey sour slushie. It just seemed like it would be so refreshing. It must have cost nearly as much as my meal, given what my bill came out to. They must think I'm a sucker. Did they receive advance notice of my visit? It did kinda hit the spot, and I probably got drunker than I would have otherwise, because I was suffering from a minor heatstroke, so there was that.

Honestly the best thing at our table were the rounds of appetizers, the brussels sprouts, spinach dip and "pretzels" (i swear pretzels were deep fried, they had a beignet like consistency) those seemed like sanely sized, well seasoned and prepared. The entree items on the other hand, they all seemed like somebody's idea of what they should be, and less like the actual thing, presentation was better than taste. Service was great though! Seemed like a good attentive staff. This place reminded me of Lamberts in several ways, in fact Joey Bs is like some St. Louis suburban living version of that. "throwed rolls" are way too gauche for West County though, so its generally a kind of sports bar atmosphere. So Lamberts in Sikeston is awful, except for the "pass arounds" which are pretty good. Lamberts main dishes had the same steroidal, huger than possible, unexceptional tasting quality as Joey Bs. And like Lamberts, holy crap was Joey Bs busy so what the fuck do I know?? Clearly nothing, I guess "we" sure do love our marginal and gigantic food, people tend to eat with their eyes!
