At that price point, I expected something much closer to what was advertised. I'd encourage the restaurant to update the menu photos and description to "taco" so future customers know what they're ordering. When I called, I was offered a refund only for the $6.89 shrimp upcharge, which didn't feel right given I couldn't eat the dish at all. Since the baklava wasn't hitting, I was really hoping the bowl would but unfortunately, that, too, came up short. There was a garlic sauce on top but it did absolutely nothing for the bowl. It's a better quality meat. It's also expertly prepared. It's well-seasoned and cooked until it develops a nice char on the exterior. It was a bit more done on the inside than I require, but that may have been unavoidable. For a side, there was an option of tater tots cooked in an air fryer, like if your mom was feeling lazy. I didn't see any french fries, but maybe I'm going blind. I ordered a side salad, which is my thing these days. Sometimes they're surprisingly good, and a french fry is a french fry, unless you're at McDonald's. This one was pretty good, but it was definitely on the health-food side of things--very fresh and lightly but sufficiently dressed with something citrus-y and not too oily. Oh, and I was duped into purchasing a whiskey sour slushie. It just seemed like it would be so refreshing. It must have cost nearly as much as my meal, given what my bill came out to. They must think I'm a sucker. Did they receive advance notice of my visit?
