    Smokehouse BBQ Sandwich

Desperately trying to find food in the area while on a brief break from a long drive. This particular Panera Bread has a drive-thru window that didn't have much of a line on a Thursday afternoon. While driving up, noticed that they don't have the regular menu until you get all the way up to the ordering kiosk. Quickly settled on the Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich ($8) and an Iced Tea ($2ish). Food is delivered to the car in about 8 minutes - with the sandwich being easily tear-able into two parts (for those who want the half-sandwich option). Bread is toasted nicely, albeit greasy, sandwiching the marinated chicken, cheese, and some greens. Basic but overall filling sandwich, good amount of BBQ sauce without sacrificing the integrity of the bread. Both the person taking the order and delivery staff did a solid job. Looks like they have both indoor and outdoor seating if not wanting to take the order to go.

I used to love Panera, but the quality continues to decline with the portion sizes as the prices go up. This particular Panera is always clean and the staff are wonderful. I was greeted with a smile and the food was ready quickly. Sadly, the last time we came my son ordered chicken noodle soup in a bread bowl. We got the soup and there was nothing but broth in the bread bowl. Not a single noodle or piece of chicken. I brought it back and they got him a new one but it obviously wasn't done heating because it was barely lukewarm. We weren't able to wait for another remake so he ate it and we left. That night he was violently sick. I can't be sure it was the soup but it was the only food he ate all day. Today U went in for a simple bagel. I got it and it was cut like this. Seriously, I could barely bite through the huge ball of bread on one side and the other side was so thin it was practically burnt. It was not good at all. I bought a dozen bagels to take home and told them not to cut them. There is just no quality control at all here any more. I think this will be my last visit.

Delicious as always no matter which one you're at, in Utah or here in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania! Having just the sandwich. Others are having a sandwich with a salad. Delicious!

Looks like every other Panera. But it's special to me.

It's not that this Panera is tremendously different from any other Panera that I've been to, although this one does have a drive through and fun touch screen menus. But when you're driving from Cleveland, Ohio to Allentown, PA, this Panera is a beacon of health"ier" options along your route. I make the trip once a month for work, and this particular Panera is the highlight of my trip. My job isn't very exciting.

I love Panera Bread - I really do. They are a great choice for lunch when I am on the road and looking for something that I at least perceive to be healthy. I love the way that Panera has embraced technology with their fast lane ordering for pick up and their free WiFi. They are a great choice for afternoon business meetings with their varied and plentiful seating. However, on my last two visits to this location, I have been extremely disappointed in the service. On both occasions, I have entered and there has been no one behind the counter to take my order. From 20 yards away in the kitchen, someone has yelled "Just use the kiosk." While I appreciate having a kiosk option sometimes I want to order in person. While having a kiosk may lower the number of cashiers that are necessary on a shift, it is not an excuse to have no cashiers.

Delicious seasonal squash soup! Great service and ample seating :) my friend and I came towards closing, but food was fresh and service was friendly.

Where's the beef? A $7.00 bread sandwich. Hard bread that is. Definitely seems they are slumping on their menu items

Service took over 30 minutes !!! My simple soup has hair on it. This place is awfully bad, do not even try to taste their food.

Panera bread tricks it's customers into tipping on to go orders. Read the debit transaction carefully.

Greasy fast food but tasty…read more Heading through Pennsylvania, had a few stops along the path and this place happens to be in route. We order online and I pull up to pick up our meal. Inside has a lot of cars everywhere, so it was very similar to pizza shop in my area. Very neat, but not in there for too long. We got cheese curds and wings. We were able to select all flats which is an awesome choice to make. The cheese curds were not traditional, where they are pressed into solid shapes and are "squeaky". Instead they don't press it and leave it loose. Which lead to a kinda airy cheese curds with a ton of cheesy flavor. Those were wonderful. The wings were perfectly cooked and the sauces had some heat but not too crazy. Good flavor, and ample portions. As a greasy spoon pit stop, it hits all the right notes. It's not glamorous eats, but they are good eats while on the road. Get wet naps, and give this place a try if you can.

There also wasn't much 'chipotle' flavor. There were so many wing sauces to choose from it was hard! I ended up with Thaisian & Haute Parm. Both were great & super flavorful, our waitress was really helpful when choosing sauces. The kids meals come in the cutest little paper cars! I love a place with a fun novelty theme.

There are options to choose from - quesadilla, burrito, bowl, tacos, etc. All orders come with a side of chips and you select your salsa at their salsa station - yes I just said salsa station, that is pretty cool! I don't love building my own items so I wish they had a "base" to add or remove from, but I get the concept. I chose a bowl with rice, black beans, birria - new item, onions, peppers, cheese and sour cream. The bowl was HUGE! I didn't even finish half of it. It was good, but I didn't love the seasoning on the birria sadly... I also tried the chips- crispy and perfect - and all the salsas at the Salsa station. Sadly I didn't really care for any of the salsas, I think it's preference. The restauarant was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful and my experience was quick and casual. So overall I think it's a win. I don't love that the restrooms are directly in front of the entrance door, but not much can be done about that.

There were couple tables of customers and there are plenty of seats available. Bathroom was clean enough but could be better. Inside the store was also clean, the salsa counter was wiped down alright. I got a bowl of Adobo chicken and green sauce (don't remember how it is called lol) with half and half of both rice. The food tastes pretty good except for white rice that was not cooked. There were a lot of hard or undercooked rice in my bowl which was a bit disappointing. Staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. She even helped me look up for my account and informed me about some free redemptions. Their price is very reasonable as well.
