This Panera uses a different size you pick two salad than the rest of America, normally it comes in a medium size box (not the big full size box) and this came in a tiny plastic thing. So I got a side salad and tiny cup of soup (comes with a chunk of bread) and a bakery scone and it costs $14. This place is a joke, but this isn't a one star because of the price, because i knew how overpriced Panera was going in. But the tiny salad, plus the amount of dressing (enough for two pieces of lettuce) was annoying and they forgot the bread so we had to go back. Sometimes when I'm traveling through PA on the I-80, sometimes it seems like forever between coffee stops. Panera is great for quality food when you don't have a lot of time to spend. Fresh baked bagels, breads, pastries, salads, sandwiches, and soups. Free wifi for those of us who work from the road. This particular location was easy off the highway - clean, friendly, highly recommended. read more

I really shouldn't eat bread all that often, but occasionally I put up with the bad health aftermath for it, and sometimes I just eat off their gluten-free menu (which they have!). The staff is really awesome, and the set up is pretty nice, and they do have free wi-fi available. It makes it a nice place to sit, have some nice drink, food and relax while working on a laptop or tablet. I've never had an issue with them being out of stock with anything, but I also don't tend to go during "rush" times. It's been clean and well taken care of every time, and the staff even asks takes stuff off my tray (I'm disabled, and either have to use a cane or a walker) for me as they're out wiping down tables. And of course, Panera food is really, really good, whether it's bread, salad, desserts, or drinks. =) read more

I have to say...even though this Panera was crowded the food was served rather quickly. I'm only giving 4 Stars because there was not enough seating to accommodate the crowd. I enjoyed using the kiosk and thought it was funny when ordering a sandwich that it let you know what they were out of and e en offered an alternative. read more

We stopped for lunch today on our way through the state. Greek quinoa salad was delicious as was the Mediterranean veggie sandwich. It was busy at noon, but it was very clean and the service was first rate. The woman who waited on was very pleasant and friendly ( carol ?). We would definitely recommend this Panera read more

The most inefficient Panera we have ever visited. After one in the afternoon so not crowded. Waited 15 minutes for two toasted bagels. Woman at the counter was obviously new. Line was ten deep before someone came to help. Plenty of staff busy doing nothing! read more

I'm in town for business every other week, and have breakfast at this location 3 times in the week. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The Panera Bread menu doesn't have many vegan options, so I tend to get the same few things. All the servers at the register know what I will be getting. Convenient access from I-80. read more

We were driving from Pittsburgh to Boston, and stopped here for lunch. The food was very good. There were 5 of us and we all got soup and sandwich or salad for $6.99. Of course, we got premium salads and sandwiches, so it was a bit more than that. The food is freshly prepared and very good. We were happy to see Panera along our travels because our only other choices seemed to be fast food, and that didn't excite us. We also got dessert, such as a cookie for the road. Do not expect fast service here! This is an on an easy exit from I80, and even with a simple coffee and pastry order, expect to wait 20 minutes or more. If you're trying to make good travel time, go somewhere else read more

Panara is the quintessential hangout for all the local hipsters. Moderate prices and a well played atmosphere project a level of sophistication and class, however, the food really isn't all that. While bagels, pastries, and bread abound, the concept of Panara as anything more than a bakery/coffee shop hybrid should be dismissed. Bland, unoriginal food is prepared haphazardly and in the style of a fast-food joint. I'm almost always disappointed with the way my latte's are prepared. Two products stand out as favorites: orange scones and the house mac-and-cheese. Beyond this, everything else falls short. If you're looking for a decent place to meet a business client, look no further than Panara. If you want a great dining experience, move on. read more

This place is not advertised from the highway, and I never would have known it was there if I hadn't seen the other reviews on Yelp! As far as the food: If you like Panera food other places, you'll like it here. The thing about a chain like this is that you always know what you're getting. It is the same at this location as it has been at every other place that I've tried. The difference at the Bloomsburg location is what has been mentioned in other reviews. The place is spotless! A restaurant this clean and well maintained is a rarity, especially for a quick stop off the interstate. Additionally, the service was incredibly friendly, and also very quick. We arrived just in time for the lunch rush, and still received friendly and quick service. The "baker" even came around the restaurant to chat with everyone and pass out free cookies. Nice! Now that we know it is there, we will probably return, often, as it is right along a route that we drive with some regularity. read more

Stopped in here for a break while driving cross county on I-80, while the young girl at the counter was extremely friendly and upbeat, she was the sole bright spot in this location. The fact that they were out of bread at 7pm, not just my first choice but the next two as well, shows the lack of quality control at this location. Over flowing garbage cans in the main room as well as in both bathrooms showcases the weak management here. There are better options located at the same exit. read more

We absolutely love Panera and have been to twenty or more different locations while traveling. This store is average. It's our local store, so we still frequent the place, but just today we found ourselves at another Panera location due to travel and were astounded at how much cleaner, more organized, and less run down so many other locations seem to be. We first started to notice this several years ago when traveling, but initially chalked it up to simply stumbling into a 'really good franchise location' however after our informal survey of quite a few locations in 7 different states, we have confirmed that this location is near the bottom in terms of cleanliness, and general appearance. Also the staff always seems so overworked and despite trying to portray a positive image, fall short when compared to the overwhelmingly upbeat and cheerful demeanor of the staff at other locations. I hope management can give this location a facelift and bring this local up to the comfortable and welcoming feel that the rest of the chain seem to have mastered. read more
