This is a franchise store, and my experience is that they mess up orders more often than other Paneras I've been to. When I've contacted them about it, I've been told that I could get the order replaced, but they will not offer anything to make up for the time and trouble of returning to the store to get the correct order. Panera is such a disappointment in the Cincinnati area. I came in with two people in front of me and it took about 15+ minutes to even get my order in, as soon as I walked up to the counter the worker walked away. After waiting another 15-20 minutes for my food to be ready, the sandwich wasn't even filled to the edges or really at all with any chicken. It was basically a few pieces in the center. read more

I placed my order through Door Dash like I normally due at the same time. I have been doing this for a year now. This time they got my order and I paid for it only to have them reach out 45 minutes later saying they can't make my breakfast sandwich because breakfast stopped at 10:30. I was well within the normal time limit to have my order made. So instead of my egg & cheese sandwich, I just got bread and cheese. I am definitely not happy and will never go back to them. If I could give this place a -star I would. I'm visiting Cincinnati on business and since my local home Panera is so good I decided to give this place a try....boy was I disappointment!!! The staff was extremely rude, I stood at the counter while they walked by as if I wasn't there, finally I had to asked to be served. This is the fourth disappointing experience I have had with Panera Catering. There won't be a fifth as I will definitely take my business elsewhere. The Clifton location delivered one order on time, but brought no cream, sugar or stirring sticks for the coffee. OK, I thought; maybe it was just an "off" day. It happens to everyone, right? Wrong. The next time, they delivered the coffee and supplies --- but I'd also ordered a pastry ring. So we had no plates, no napkins, and no utensils, even though the order page on the website clearly indicates we'd be supplied with them. I'd had good experiences with the Winton Road location -- until, two days after I'd placed an order, they told me the didn't have coffee containers and canceled my order. I had to call back three times for a refund. Today was the last straw. The order was complete - except the iced tea was hot -- and it was over 45 minutes late. The Reed Hartman store insisted they'd called and left a message (which must have been to the wrong number because I didn't get a message), as if that was supposed to make everything OK. They didn't even apologize. So the items that were supposed to be available for a 12:00 conference weren't there until the conference was nearly over! Overpriced and overrated. Visited here last Friday and dropped a piece of egg on the floor next to the window. When I returned Wednesday and sat in the same place, the egg from last week was still there much the worse for wear. I don't want to know what the kitchen must be like if the public area is so filthy! This Panera has terrible reviews, and from my experience, I cant say I agree. We went for lunch on a Friday, which I thought it would be super busy, but it wasn't too bad. We were able to order quickly and the food did not take long at all to come out. The girlfriend liked her salad, and I had the french onion soup and a BBQ chicken flatbread. Both were delicious. I don't go to Panera often, but now that I work near by I could see myself going more often. read more

If you've been to one Panera, you've been to them all. This location is a bit out of the way, unless you work by it. The inside is bigger than your average Panera, as well as some outdoor seating. They do have free wi-fi though if you need to get some work done. Service at the counter was very good and the food was up to their regular standards. read more

Samantha was handed the phone by my boyfriend to read the order and i received the wrong sand which. When I called the store I spoke with someone named Olivia who was completely rude to me and told me she would not remake the sand which to the way I ordered it and at this time my boyfriend was already on the way back to get a new one. They were both not only completely rude and inconsiderate but told me my sand which was a mess and the only way I would get a new one was to pay. Working at Panera for 3 years this is not how the situation should of been handled and I will personally never go to this Panera again until there are respectful employees working. We went there tonight atb6pm and ordered 2 Pick 2 meals. They were already out of baguettes. There were 4 people ahead of us and it took us 1/2 hour to get our soup and salad. The caesar salad had rotten lettuce in it, there was no dressing on the salads. When my bf went to get some dressing, the lady first picked something up off of the floor, then addressed him, then went to get the item without washing her hands. I had to wait for 10 minutes at the register, no line, until I spoke up and asked this man who was talking to a lady making a drink to take my order. I work nearby and have been to this Panera maybe 3 times for my lunch break. The first time I went there I ordered an apple as a side for my meal and found mold in the middle by the stem. It wasn't obvious, at first glance it looked fine, no big deal. I took it back and exchanged for chips and the cashier was very polite and helpful. Today I went in again and got a you pick 2 with a soup and sandwich. To my disappointment my sandwich was a mess. :( The bread was mushy and half the contents of the sandwich were in the wrapping paper. I'm not much of a complainer, I typically just deal and will chalk it up to a less than ideal meal, but knowing how polite the staff was about the apple I went back and asked if I could just have 2 slices of bread to fix my sandwich. Again the staff was really nice and helpful about it. Great customer service just please notice the little things more often! This location is super convenient for me to go to for lunch but I will probably stop simply because for the price I don't want to have to keep returning to fix things. :( read more

At 330 in the afternoon this Panera was slow and the employees were super friendly. I was offered a taste of the squash soup when I asked about it and it was good but a bit sweet. Deciding to order it and a cup of coffee, I looked for a table; many hadn't been wiped from other patron's meals. Went to get coffee on the other side of restaurant and the half n half was empty. My soup was cold. There were dirty dishes over filling the dish bins to the point where customers couldn't put any more in so they started leaving them on top of their trays, and the floor was littered. Four coffee types are listed and only three were there, and when I left, only two were there and not centered under their names so there was no way of knowing if I'd be getting decaf or light roast. Threw my cup away...I'd asked for help twice earlier with the half and half before it was brought out. Won't go back but they won't notice because of all the businesses and hotel traffic in the area. Today was the second time in the past four months that I have been so irritated and frustrated with this location. Each time the same scenario played out. I called this morning to place an order for bagels and pastries and coffee for three mornings next week. I then tried to place an order for several hundred dollars in sandwiches for a meeting next week. I was told that they were "very busy taking orders and we're not able to help you at this time". It was 10:45 in the morning. I have been to that location at least twice a week since they opened and it is rarely that busy at 10:45 because it is between breakfast and lunch. I gave my name and my phone number to the employee and was told that I would receive a call back shortly so that I can place my order. No call. So I called back early evening and was told that nobody could take my order and when I mentioned that I had called earlier in the day and nobody could take my order, I was told "I'm sorry that you called during the busiest time but we were busy taking orders". Guess what? Don't worry about taking my order because I will not be utilizing you for personal or business gatherings anymore. read more

At 12:15 I called since we didn't have our order and waited about 15 minutes for the store manager to tell me people called in sick and our order will be delayed. A few years ago I traveled Ohio giving training sessions. I used Panera Bread for breakfast and for lunches. The only time I had an issue was with this location. Had lunch ordered and my order was lost. Needless to say we had to scramble to feed important clients for lunch. Consequently I never used this location until today. I thought between a few years and now, management might have changed and this stores standards would have improved. I ordered breakfast for some folks who have performed beyond expectations as a gift for Christmas. I stoppped to pick up the order and they had no clue. Finally found my order and expected me to wait. Meanwhile I had an appointment to keep. Will never use this store again and not sure about other Panera. Luckily we have Brueggers Bagels which has a catering menu as well. read more
