    Roasted turkey avocado

Tomato soup... I live for it! Sandwiches are absolutely garbage. My roasted turkey bacon avocado was TRASH. One piece of bacon cut in half, THICK butter avocado and BITTER greens. Never again. Their sandwiches are a rip off. Very unhappy customer.

Just went for a quick breakfast bite before heading into the capital. But I'd just like to mention that this Bethesda location had Lobster rolls as an option! That was quite the welcoming way to wake up and brace to face the morning traffic and bureaucratic filled day. Unfortunately, the lobster didn't really taste fresh, and the service was not the best. Aside from a pleasant run-in with the manager washing our hands, every other worker was either very passive, inattentive, or always rushing. Maybe it's the morning time, or maybe it's just because I've been out of the big city for too long, but none of those should be excuses. I'd also like to mention that the entire layout is not very coordinated to flow customer traffic and table arrangement. It's very hectic, and having to wait for drinks right by the restrooms is not the most pleasant stance.

Their sandwiches are incredible especially the Rachael and their giant turkey club but on top of that the employees are very welcoming and it's also a great location to visit as they sell a wide variety of jams, jelly, candy, and much more! I highly recommend it - you won't be disappointed!

Taking over the same storefront as the former Amish Deli (home of "Bowling Green's Biggest, Baddest BLT"), I had high hopes which were only buoyed by the enthusiastic welcome I received from the smiling staff as I entered the establishment. The nice lady at the order counter apologized and said the grill was having issues during their soft opening, but that did not matter to me, as I already had my eyes on trying one of the 2-dog combos. After quickly reviewing my options, I ordered the Sterling dogs with a side of coleslaw, plus a fountain Coke. Before tax, the total came to $9.98, which was pretty reasonable for lunch downtown. As I made my way to one of the booths, I cast my eye around the dining room, and frankly, I liked what I saw! The new laminate floor looked great, as did the brand new -and spotlessly clean- tables, chairs, and booths. The decorations and wall hangings were tasteful and un-cluttered, and I especially liked how the blue light horse silhouette (visible on far-right side of my dining room photo) conveyed a sense of good-Amish-food-meets-21st-century. After a pleasantly short wait, my order was delivered to my booth. The all-beef dogs were garnished with crispy-cooked bacon, red pepper relish, and shredded cheddar cheese. As you can see in my food photo, they looked great, and tasted even better! The side of coleslaw was also very good, which kind of surprised me, as I expected it to be overpowered by the clearly visible chunks of red onion, but the flavours melded together perfectly. I also liked how the staff stopped by my table to ask how the food was, and how speedy and friendly they were any time I took my fountain cup up to the counter for a refill. PROS: very good food, very friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a good atmosphere CONS: for a soft opening, I felt they were great, as I had zero issues! Overall I rate Sterling's Amish Deli as being Very Good, and look forward to returning!
