Got stuck in the drive through line starting at 9:30, it stopped moving for a solid 15min before I even got to the speaker, 2 people behind me and curbs too high to escape the one I sat and waited another 10min before I got to the pickup window. My food was ready when I got to the window most likely because I ordered online and prepaid choosing drive through pickup thinking it would be faster, my mistake, never doing that again. No apologies or explanations were made for the wait, the guy commented that he just added more whipped cream to my drink because it had all melted into the drink(I wonder why??). The food itself was good albeit colder than it should have/would have been if I hadn't spent nearly 30min in the drive through. My advice is don't bother going here if you're on a schedule or care about your time, otherwise the food itself was good so ‍ maybe just avoid the drive through? We went to Panera for the first time in a long time. Decided to see if it got any better. Ordered a chiabatta egg and sausage and my wife ordered egg and bacon on brioche. They swapped the bacon and sausage on our sandwiches and decided to bring it back to them to correct. Instead of remaking the items, they took out the sausage and bacon and swapped them. Now the bacon is over the side of the round brioche and the sausage doesn't cover the chiabatta roll. Now the brioche has a sausage taste that my wife didn't want at all. Is this what service has come to? So sad because I was expecting a little more since we have a $25 ticket for breakfast. The sad part about it was it was the manager that did the swap and told the server to give it back to us. Didn't even blink an eye about redoing the sandwich. They were not even that busy. Again, SAD!!!! Update: My wife went to speak to manager before we left and kindly mentioned what happened. He said they were busy and asked if he could make her another one. She said she was fine but just wanted to let them know to remake it right away. He said thank you and later came back with some coupons for free meal on our next visit. Wow has this location changed, and not for the better. The bread was good. Flatbread was cold, Greek salad had less than 1/3 of edible lettuce in it, the dressing cup they give wasn't even halfway full. The soup, I don't even know completely watered down. And.... To top this off waited over 20 minutes for my food to be delivered to my car after I went through the drive thru. 2 soups, a salad and a flatbread. I thought it would at least be warm since I waited that long. Really don't know what happened to this place. I will add the person who took my order was friendly and efficient. By far the worst Panera ever. They changed management months ago and brought in a team of incompetents. Today, a big banner in their window fell down on the floor. It stayed there for an hour before I got up, picked it up and laid it across a table. 4 hours later, it's still there. Dirty dishes pile up. Mgt has zero awareness of this. Apparently dishes are only gathered when they run out in the kitchen. It is customary for customers to come in, wet napkins with hot water to clean their own tables. Salt has tracked in today and it's just left there. I have not seen a manager in the front of the house since I got here 5 hours ago. And the mens' room - UGH! Always a disaster. The fact that management needs to be told when the mens' room is out of paper products suggests to me that their male manager does not wash his hands after using the restroom - otherwise he'd notice, right? Over $200 order for delivery, through the Panera website. $1.00 "Delivery fee", but a $22.60 "Convenience Fee". One out of THREE bags actually gets delivered. They only give their DoorDash subcontractor 1 out of 3 bags. Phone calls and an hour later, the rest of the food finally gets delivered-cold. $9.79 for a CUP (8 ounces) of soup. Barely any meat or cheese on a $12.99 ham sandwich. But they threw in a couple cookies for our trouble. With tip, it was an extra $38.60. Not remotely worth getting cold/missing food hours late. Seriously, if you're going to buy from them, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT DELIVERY. Just drive there and consider yourself getting a discount. read more

I have been ordering from Panera on 79th and Harlem for years and 99% of the time they had the orders perfect and pretty much on time. The minute they changed address a block down the road it was like night and day. In the last five months I did about 10 orders and each time they "forget" to give me the dip I ordered. Now the last two times I would come in to get my order and still have to wait 15-20 min to get it. What's the point of ordering online if when I get there after 15 minutes you still didn't even start the order? The manager should be fired. How changing location a block away makes the restaurant go from 5 stars to 1 if beyond me. read more

Long time customer of Panera but very disappointed in my last visit. I ordered a green goddess salad for curbside pickup. I had my kids in the car so I went through the dive thru and asked them to help me out and just give me my order through the drive thru. They refused and were very rude. They said they didn't even have my order...it didn't exist. I finally parked and got my kids out of the car and to my surprise my order was right there at the pickup area. Four points to make: 1. Panera's turn to "clean" food has done them in. My favorites are gone. The sandwiches that are left are overpriced and not very good. Case in point: Their Italian sandwich used to be of manly proportions and quite tasty. Naturally, they changed it. For the same price they made it smaller by about 50%. They put it on smaller bread. Then they served it hot. It got worse and worse until I stopped ordering it. They used to have a Chipotle Chicken Sandwich that was excellent. Because some ingredient was unpronounceable by high school graduates or something, they deep 6'd it. 2. I do love the drinks. I'm a huge fan of the Agave lemonade. Mmmmm... 3. I'm sitting here on a Sunday afternoon trying to get some work done. People around me are trying to talk, but we are all hampered by the music. They often have the music turned up so loud that it discourages conversation. It's sort of silly, but I have to have my earplugs in order to work quietly. 4. Service here is quite satisfactory. Management, however needs to learn that a room full of dirty tables is their signal to CLEAN THE TABLES. read more

This location has went to garbage. The last 2 times I've ordered for delivery they forgot my coffee. The 1st time I called & told them the "manager" Bianca laughed. The 2nd time no one answered the phone. I've ordered a large mac-chs & i get 2 smalls. Apparently to them that equals a large bowl. They charge like 10 bucks for a large then give you what amounts to a medium. God forbid anyone complain about any bad service now or be called a "Karen". I don't usually yelp but, my goodness, this was next level. I don't know who's more at fault - Doordash, Panera or both. But they decided to partner so here it is. 1. First order: The driver shows up with no food. He says he's here to pick up food instead of deliver it...come again? With no food, he leaves. First ping on Doordash. Understanding, I call customer service. They cancel my order and I replace it after asking if they were still taking orders...they said yes. 2. Second order: an hour after confirmation of the order, they cancel it. 20-30 minutes after confirmation, if you cancel - I get it. But an hour later? When I try to call customer service again, surprise surprise, they're closed! Here's the thing. I've worked in restaurants for many years. I've worked in customer service for many years - still do. No one here gives a shit. I don't expect my food to show up on a silver platter but, if there was a mistake within open hours, you fix it. This could've easily been done. If you do order from them, good luck! I hope you get any food at all. read more

This panera is a pretty good franchise. The service is good. People are pretty friendly. The tables are usually cleaned very quickly and thoroughly. Parking lot is frustrating when there is an Amazon truck blocking cars and you cannot get out. The food is consistently good. My favorite is the avocado melt. Overall the menu is good. Received a message saying my order was ready but it was not on the shelf. Asked a worker and he said they are working on it and it should be up any second. After waiting another 7 minutes I asked to talk to a manager. She also told me it should ready any second. I asked why I got a message saying it was ready if it wasn't.
