Sausage, egg and cheese on ciabatta
Karolina K.

Had breakfast there on our way to Florida. Coffee was great as usual and I appreciate that panera offers Almond milk as option for those that don't do dairy. My sandwich with avocado, tomato and spinach (the only vegan version your can make) was good but my husband's egg, sausage and cheese on ciabatta was laughable. It was so tiny we couldn't belive it. $5 for something so small. He had to get cinnamon Crunch bagel on top of that sandwich to be full. I think panera is following the same trend as others, portions are getting smaller but the price stays the same

Large cup of milk
Brian D.

So, I'm not a typical Panera customer and frequently refer to the company as "Panera Steakhouse" because of their insanely high prices. However, they ran a deal for 3 months of free coffee to promote their new coffee subscription. So, in my mind, I thought "Brian, you like coffee. Go ahead and treat yo' self." So, I signed up, ordered a large iced coffee with light half/half and one sugar from this location in Canal Winchester. The coffee was ready upon arrival, tasted pretty good, and they even gave me a free cookie. I thought I had just hit the jackpot and it became my new morning routine. There was no doubt in my mind that I would keep this subscription forever. Fast forward two weeks and 10 free coffee orders later... of the 10 coffees only three of them were made correctly and only two of them were made in under the advertised 10 minutes. One time I waited 18 minutes for a coffee and they just handed me an empty cup for me to make it myself. Attached is a picture of today's iced coffee with LIGHT cream. It was a large cup of milk. After I took this picture, I dumped it out and went back in to make another coffee myself. If I'm going to have to make the coffee myself every time, I might as well just make it at home in the Keurig. It'll be made faster, correctly, without frustration, and more conveniently. So, despite it being free, continuing to get my morning Java at this location is simply not worth it. That's right, the free coffee isn't worth it. Also, I sure as hell won't be renewing the subscription once the free promotion is over.

Turkey sandwich and chicken & apple salad.
Alina S.

Ordered The you pick two. I ordered a 1/2 turkey sandwich and the apple chicken salad with apple vinaigrette dressing. I ordered extra dressing and got what I asked for. Very good and fresh!

I don't know what this is. It's supposed to be grilled cheese.

Highly overrated and not very friendly service. They don't give you very generous portion sizes at all for how expensive the place is.

I had a larger order than normal yesterday in the drive-thru, and I was truly impressed by how fast and accurate the order came out!

If you are from the area this is a staple restaurant spot in Canal Winchester (other locations is…read morein Athens & Heath). The staff is always welcoming & you can tell that it's a family. Food is good. Never have a bad meal just sometimes doesn't sit well with me. We frequent here so you know it's a good time. Parking is mainly street around the corner. Town in small with local shops. Never been during evening times so keep that in mind.

Then we waited for 20 minutes. We didn't even get menus. Two tables were seated after us and were already ordering when we decided to give up and try another place. I don't like assuming people are prejudiced. I want to believe our server just happened to overlook the one table of brown people because they're a teenage girl going through a hard time. So that's what I choose to believe. I just hope the place shapes up, because someone else might not have taken it as well as we did. On the bright side, the staff seemed friendly (when we left, two servers near the entrance told us to have a nice day) and the dishes at the tables around us looked really good. I hope to come back and successfully try that chicken noodle soup someday

The owner Terri introduced herself today and we always get a good vibe and have a great meal when at the Wigwam. The breakfast bowl was very yummy and very meaty. I first tried…read moreCanal Wigwam about a decade ago (I have lived in Canal for 13 years now) and had such a poor experience that I didn't return until today. I thought that I would give it a shot again, but the food was just as disappointing as my first try. The service is great though! Everyone seems to be friendly and kind! We stopped by around 10 AM today (Saturday). Every table was full (so clearly others do like the food/service). My husband and I started off with a cup of coffee while our daughter got a glass of chocolate milk. The coffee was watery and bland (although they have a sign up front about having the world's best coffee). Be prepared to wait a while for your food. It took almost 45 minutes for us to get ours; however, it was understandable considering every table was full! For food, my daughter got the cinnamon roll. She absolutely loved it! She said that it was super soft and ooey-gooey! My husband ordered the steak and eggs. He ordered the steak medium, but it came out very well-done (super chewy). I tried his home fries with his side of bacon and both of those were good! My daughter enjoyed the bacon too! I had the biscuits and gravy and a side of "cheesy" scrambled eggs. A big no to both! The biscuits were undercooked and the gravy just tasted like a large clump of flour! The "cheesy" scrambled eggs were tough scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese sprinkled on the top! While the food was not "it" for me, there are other things that I do enjoy about Canal Wigwam! It's a cute little diner located in the center of our comforting and cozy town! They promote many other local businesses through their "decor" - the dining tables are designed with local businesses flyers/contact information, their coffee mugs promote another local business, etc. Again, I really want to like the food here, but for some reason - my taste buds do not agree!

Went there for lunch, friend recommended…read more I went there once before, it said open at 11am, and...is not So this is the second time, giving them a second chance. First of all, if you never been here before, you just going to keep on driving, even tho is located in a plaza , big parking lot, but if you look at all businesses in the plaza, all are signs "open", welcoming, here? Is all super dark, windows are all cover, more like a sign saying "go away" we closed When I walked in, I just stood there, no one greeted me, no host by the front. One of the server saw me and told me to take a seat anywhere. I'm only there for lunch, so I look at the lunch menu. Now here is the thing. I believe every restaurant should only serve one type of food, meaning if you want to serve Chinese food, Chinese food only, if you want to serve Steak, Steak and Lobster only, don't do Thai and so Italian or Vietnamese and Gyro, this place is Chinese and...Thai, and they got a Mexican serving me, okay, is like so what are you? Friend of mine told me they also serve Vietnamese coffee, I asked, he said only Thai coffee, okay, no big deal. Ordered a drink, asked for a a straw, nope, don't have it, asked me if I want a to go cup, a restaurant don't have straw? Thats your only one job, order everything you need for the "restaurant". To me, that's a very poor management, because when you owing a business, you do not and never wait until everything is out to reorder, when ever your products are running low, not out, you reorder Poor experience
