Great food and service- the staff were really friendly and attentive. Thank you

Who knew chickpeas, feta, and hard-boiled eggs could make me feel like I was dining on the Mediterranean coast--without leaving town? The bowl was fire, the service was flawless, and the staff made me feel like a VIP (Very Impressed Patron). Big thanks to the team for turning lunchtime into a mini vacation. I'll be back for another flavor-packed getaway soon!

I first discovered Café Zupas when my job catered it for lunch. I was really surprised by how great my sandwich tasted, so I made a mental note of this restaurant. We Door Dashed for dinner tonight and the quality was just as high as the first time! I ordered the Power Bowl while my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Pesto sandwich. Before I could even take a bite of my food, my boyfriend kept saying, "Mhmm! This is good!!" So, he was very happy. Lol. I loved my bowl for a couple of reasons. 1) It actually had a variety of greens instead of just iceberg lettuce. 2) A healthy amount of protein was given from the hard boiled egg, pork, AND chicken. Most places give a measly amount of chicken and call it a day. This was definitely the largest amount of meat in a bowl that I've received. I also liked that plenty of veggies were included. Basically, the bowl was delicious and I would absolutely order it again. I may need to make this an Easton staple!

Great soup. Deep rich flavors with nice lasting after taste. When I walked in I just asked each staff person what is your favorite soup. Surprisedly, they all agreed on a favorite. It was two soups and one staff told me I can mix the two. I said really... Let's do it. Then they said I get a free chocolate covered strawberry however they were out and they would give me a chocolate covered Oreo. Winner winner chicken dinner in my book. I will only tell you one soup if the mix and it was lobster bisque. The other you will have to go and find out for yourself. I arrived late and was afraid that I wouldn't get good service and they would tell me they are closing in 30 minutes. Well they didn't . They allowed me to enjoy the food and the service. Loved it. I'm only taking a star away because of not having the strawberry. Lol. Yes it's a place I would bring a friend who enjoys soup. I will return to explore more of the menu.

One of my absolute favorite guilt-free spots! I LOVE this place. It is my go-to option. So much better than Panera but has the same Panera concept. They have soup, salads, and sandwiches. You can do a you-pick-two. A piece of bread and chocolate covered strawberry comes with your meal. This place is fast and quick. You choose what you want and then pay. The food comes right out. My absolute favorite thing is the chipotle chicken salad. They have other salads too which are all good. Every time I recommend this salad to someone, they start ordering it regularly. The sandwiches are decent. I usually go for the honey bacon or turkey bacon avocado. They have either a wheat or white bread and the sandwiches can be panini style or club. I prefer the panini. The soups are good. I like the lobster bisque and clam chowder. I haven't tried to many because it always is hot when I go and I'm not in the mood for soup.

Cafe Zupas has the freshest ingredients. I ordered the you pick 2 for $12.50. Half of a California Cobb salad that was dressed perfectly and had tons of fresh ingredients. Also the honey bacon club comes as a full sandwich with the you pick two. This sandwich melts in your mouth. The honey mustard, crunchy bacon, on fresh pressed bread round this sandwich out. The chocolate covered strawberry and roll, rounds out the perfect lunch.

Kids meal pick two: grilled cheese and fruit cup, comes with milk and a chocolate covered strawberry

Really great deal for the pick two! My husband and I split a pick two with the hot Turkey avocado sandwich and a half salad Nuts about berries. The salad was quite big, and the sandwich was somewhat small, but it was plenty of food. Our daughter got the grilled cheese and fruit cup. Both meals came with a chocolate covered strawberry, which is a nice touch. The three of us can't eat for under $20 in very many places, so I would go back.

The chef was out delivering food and shaking hands as everyone shared their favorite memories of the restaurant. Coming off of Bourbon fest, we decided for light fare and got a closing drink along with the Off Menu red snapper crudo with rice paper crackers, watermelon salad, and pomodoro pasta. We shared everything and took half the pasta to go. The crudo was fresh and creamy with an avocado base while the watermelon salad was brine, sweet, and refreshing at the same time. Definitely have to try that at home. A great ending night for us and the Chapman legacy.

Arrived approximately 3:30pm - restaurant basically empty (maybe 5 tables total occupied). Went to check in for 2 and the host said he had reservations at 5. Huh? So I asked do you mean you can't seat us until 5? And he said no, that we need to leave by then because other people are coming. I thought that was very weird and unprofessional. I've never had an experience like that before. It's a basic sit down place, why would you think we'd linger for more than an hour and a half? Whatever, weird feeling, but we were seated. Seated in the walkway. Not like in a path but literally blocking the walkway where you step down. Why do I say this? Because people walking by kept banging into me. Not their fault. Why is there a table there? And why were we seated there when at least 80% of the restaurant was empty???? Ok whatever. Ordered food including their signature made in-house tots. Waitress comes back and says they were slammed in the morning and they're out of tots. (Man I feel bad for the people coming at 5. LOL) whatever except the people at the next table appeared to be served tots. Food was tasteless. The Mac and cheese had a weird texture like the roux wasn't cooked properly. My patty melt was mostly bread as the patty was too small for the bread. My husband had the signature chimi burger and it completely lacked any chimichurri flavor. Like at all. We were out by 4ish (plenty of time for them to prepare for their expected onslaught) and needless to say I've unbookmarked this place from my yelp. Maybe we'll try the Mexican place across the street next time. ‍

It may not look like much, but it packs a whole lot of "great" inside of it! PROS: -Service is fantastic. The servers, despite being less than an hour from close, were super friendly, and they made me feel like I was part of everything. No clique-y vibes or disgruntled employees. Lots of joking and laughing from the staff when they weren't serving. -Food was delivered freakishly fast. We had barely got our beer when we had apps, and we had only managed to get the chili cooled enough for a few bites before entrees came out. The kitchen was really on top of things. -Really large selection of salad options. Their ranch was really delicious, but most importantly, all the salads felt like relatively "healthy" salads unlike many places that try to make them restaurant "quality" by stuffing them with cheese and other treat-y options. Seriously, it was amazing. CONS: -No dedicated parking lot. There were decent available spots on a Thursday night at dinner, though. It just might be a few blocks walk. -As a chill night, it was okay, but I could feel this place feeling a bit crowded with tables too close together on really busy nights.
