Wanted a quick meal because I was eating alone. Panera bread was perfect since there are no servers and their warm soup were perfect on a rainy cold day. After I came in, I just went to the self order station and got me a Pick 2 Combo. Got half chipotle chicken melt with French onion soup. They are my go to meal at Panera bread. Most of the tables were taken. Few of the tables were blocked off for unknown reasons. (Didn't bother to investigate) I was luckily able to find a booth in the back. Food came out in few minutes. They had water cups next to the food pick up. Got me some water and Tabasco sauce pockets. The chipotle chicken melts were extremely good. I would highly recommend that. Really goes well with the Tabasco sauce and French onion soup. The parking area was packed but I am not sure if it is always like that or a lot more people came here since it was raining a lot and they can't hang out outdoors. read more

Panera is proud to promote 100% Clean Food model, it's even plastered on the backs of their employees work shirts. But their men's restroom is hardly the model of a "clean" restroom. It reeks of cesspool gone awry with pesky little flies that I'm sure are not wasting their time only living in the restroom. I've noticed many times over the course of of a year they've attempted to resolve the issue with their plumbing to no avail. I'd appreciate it if they could commit to a clean men's restroom as they've committed to having 100% clean food. read more

Not a good service at all! It's just a place to sit and rest basically. Coffee is cold they didn't refresh it. When we saw there are no hot coffee after a long time waiting they said you can heat up your drink in the microwave. The tables were not wiped clean at all. I saw the lady came and just looked to see if there is anything on the table to pick up and no cleaning. The tuna sandwich I ordered was all bread only one spoon of tuna in there. Previously I had not been to happy with the quality and consistency of this location. After eating here a few more times recently I felt I should update my review. This location is still not perfect, but they have improved. My food has been more consistent and I haven't felt like I've getting shorted on my food. So that's a plus for them. Make sure you still check your bag of food here if you're ordering to go or rapid pickup. I've still had to point out that they forgot my items a few times. The staff have been friendly, especially the early morning staff. They're always very nice and attentive. Even first thing in the morning at 630am. I'd say this place is moving in the right direction. Making sure all the items are in the bag would be a huge improvement. So there's still some work to be done. read more

Panera Bread, located in Cerritos, across the mall and close by to Toys R Us and Lucille's BBQ... Been here a few times already. Nice, friendly vibe inside the restaurant/store deal. The breads and pastries look so appetizing and very carb-full! It's almost a bit overwhelming trying to figure out what you want, especially when you don't know what you want in the first place. Hubby and I stopped by here one afternoon just to check it out. We both ordered from the Pick 2 menu. I chose the Mediterranean veggie sandwich and I think a minestrone type soup, with chips and and sparkling water. Hubby got the Asian chicken salad (he's a fan of this salad, as he's gone to other Panera's and bought just that!) and a soup. We enjoyed our meals, ate everything. Hubby was enticed by the pumpkin pie bagel. Before we left, he ended up making me buy the bagel for him. Lol... It was a good bagel! Soft, not too sweet, and with the added cheesecake cream cheese... Perfect!!! We finished the bagel before we left the parking lot! Oh! If you order the combo meal, you're offered an additional pastry for $0.99 more (I think), and that's a really good deal, considering some of the pastries are well over $2.00! Wi-fi is free here, you're served your meal at the tiny table you're at, and sometimes you're checked up on by random staff. I bus my own table, no problem for me. I feel weird just leaving my mess there, especially for a place like Panera. Avoid this panera if you don't want to ruin your day. By far the worst customer service I've experienced. The cashier and manager act like they have sticks far up theirs. Also, my mom has a slight accent, but FIVE OTHER paneras understood whenever my mom asked for butter. The cashier here was so rude and had her chin up as she JUST STARED at my mom, making my mom feel so small as she repeated the request for butter more than 4 times.Then the cashier forgot to include the butter in our final order. My mom also asked them to slice our two dozen bagels, but she came home to find that half of them aren't sliced but ridiculously peeled/scalped instead (picture attached). how can you take our money, then present this crap to us so brazenly? you won't find me coming back here again. read more

So this Panera Bread location opened up on Tuesday the 15th. I only noticed it as I was coming home from work. It was "Coming Soon" on Monday, and then on Tuesday it was "Now Open". I made a note to come back here for dinner the following day. I arrived here yesterday, and the parking lot was full. Though there didn't seem to be a line of people, I think that parking will be an issue when other restaurants and stores open up in this Landmark Square center, seeing how it already fills up for a Panera Bread, a T-Mobile store, and a Lucille's BBQ. The patio seating was brand new and they had larger "couples" cushioned seating outside alongside regular chairs. It may just be the honeymoon period, but as I entered in with my friend, more people followed behind me and soon enough, people getting out of work were stopping by here to get something to eat. The pastries looked particularly tempting, but I resisted and stuck to a Pick 2 items special. You can see in my photograph what I got: a club bravo sandwich and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. The bread was really good in the sandwich. It had a slight sunflower seed flavor...really good soft texture and firm crust holding its shape. I've had the soup in other Paneras, but I have to say that a bread bowl makes it a lot better and actually gives it a more satisfying quality. The set up of the dining area is made like this: the part near the door have smaller tables and booths. The part in the rear of the restaurant have larger ones. There is also patio seating all around the exterior of the bakery. There can be a bit of a bottleneck in the side where you pick up special orders and the soda fountain, but other than that, I feel there are enough tables for quick casual dining. For some reason this particular location seems to appeal to people from Long Beach. There were no less than three separate parties which I've overheard were from Long Beach that made a special trip to come out to this Panera. I'm thinking it's because it's really close to the 605 Freeway. And even though there's one in Lakewood, I think the location and the surrounding options (the Los Cerritos Center, Cerritos Promenade, 183rd Street, and the Auto Square) are more appealing to visitors. Or, it could be that people from Long Beach just really love their Panera Bread. Panera also offers free wi-fi service, so you'll come across many students and professionals taking advantage of it. This place has excellent visibility from South Street and I really think it's because of this that many people started pouring in during their grand opening once the banners were put up. I'm definitely very happy to have more dining options in Cerritos and I have this strong sense that this Panera will be very successful as more and more people notice they're open. read more

I have been going to Panera for a few years to buy bread and different pastries. I am not a big fan of their sandwiches because I am obsessed with Corner Bakery Cafe. The other day I was in the area and I wanted a yummy cinnamon crunch bagel with extra cream cheese. After I noticed how many calories it had I decided to get their steel cut oatmeal. It was a great choice, I would be lying if I said it was better than the bagel. It was really good, they topped it with cinnamon crunch, pecans and fresh strawberries. Make sure you mix the oats in some sort of topping otherwise they can be bland. It's a delicious and healthy choice. I would definitely be buying that again, I almost forgot about my yummy hazelnut coffee. I love hazelnuts, I love coffee, great combo! I just added a little skim milk and it was delicious! Got introduced to Panera in South Bay. Love their bagels, sandwiches, desserts. Thrilled when they opened a branch in our neighborhood. Parking is a challenge at this location. They reserve a few 5-minute parking spots next to the door for quick pickup, and, I recently discovered, additional parking behind the building. Adequate inside seating, with overflow outside. The patio is right off the 605 freeway so I'm not sure how noisy or dusty it can get. Seldom see people dining outside. Probably nice in the evening. Lunching with a friend. Ordered soup (cheese broccoli) and half sandwich (deli turkey on Panera's famous bread). Absolutely delicious. My friend enjoyed her Caesar salad. Panera's never disappoints. read more

The food is okay the service is good the ambiance is good but it is way too overhyped

I'm obsessed with their cobb salad. I always ask for no chicken and bacon (i know bacon is the best part) because I'm on a detox and I'm not doing meat. Whether I dine in or out, dressing always on the side. Their menu seems healthy but it really isn't, so if you're taking a girl out who happens to be on a diet, this place is truly the best of both worlds. Their mac & cheese is also very delicious, just cheesy enough and the pasta cooked to perfection! And it's those shell pastas so you can fit a whole mouthful! Horrible service I can't tell you the horrible sandwiches we got last night, the kids that work there don't care. My husband and i stopped by last night and got 2 full sandwiches the Napa almond. Bad service. We ordered a soup, they didn't give us a spoon or napkins had to go back to the counter to ask for them. I also ordered a bacon, egg, tomato wrap, but they forgot the most important part...the bacon. There was literally no bacon in my wrap. And when we received our food, the girl said she was going to get our drinks. Right then another customer approached her and asked for her online order. She proceeded to get her online order along with her drinks, even though we were there first and already had our food. When I was living in Orange County, I would go to this Panera now and then to meet friends for lunch. It was always easy to find and I could bank on parking, since there are many of these plazas all around town. There are so many things I liked from Panera; what I would order merely depended on my mood and cravings. I most often went to Panera for lunch (vs. breakfast or dinner), but the breakfast menu always looked so delicious. When I did dine here, the wait for my orders never took long and customer service was good as well. Deciding what to order would always be difficult because there were so many things I liked from here. But, if there was a seasonal item that sounded delicious and I wanted to try, I would just get it because it was a limited-time item. Here are some of my favorites from the regular menu: Mac and Cheese: I liked this option because it featured Vermont white cheddar. I loved this mac and cheese because it was always so creamy and cheesy. I appreciated how it was different from the traditional cheddar cheese mac and cheese (although nothing is wrong with that). I don't get to have white cheddar mac and cheese all that often, and to me, this was the ultimate comfort food dish. I would often order a whole bowl, but you can get it as a cup and pair it with half a sandwich or salad. Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice Soup: This was one of the many soup flavors featured at Panera, and it was one of my favorites because of its texture. I liked the wild rice and the thicker cream of chicken broth. There was also lots of shredded chicken. I liked this soup because it was heartier (not as light as the chicken noodle soup), but it also wasn't as heavy as a chili or chowder. It's the perfect solution if you want something creamy and comforting. Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt: This is one of the items under the sandwiches menu. I love the slight kick from the chipotle flavor (though it's not super spicy or overwhelming), and I also like the chicken and avocado in here. The melts aren't called Paninis, but they remind me of them because these are hot, pressed sandwiches. Gluten Conscious Triple Chocolate Cookie with Walnuts: I'm not gluten free, but I like this cookie because it's denser and it has the triple chocolate. There used to be a double chocolate chunk cookie (or something to that extent) on the menu, but that cookie was replaced by this GF option and they added walnuts. I tend to like my cookies plain--no nuts of any sort--but I'll stand the walnuts just so I can enjoy the chocolaty flavor of this cookie. The walnuts aren't actually that bad and add a nice crunch to the soft and chewy cookie. I like this one especially after throwing it into the microwave for a bit - the chocolate melts and gets gooey. Cinnamon Crunch Scone: I had this scone when the company I was working for catered from Panera for breakfast. I really liked the fragrance and flavor of this pastry because I love cinnamon. Scones can have a bad rap for being dry, but the one from Panera didn't taste dry to me. I loved the cinnamon coating and this embodied all the tastes and smells of fall. All of the bakery treats in the display case always look delicious! read more

I went here for my second time and last time I was really happy but this time it was not good. I ordered the Thai chicken salad and it was missing the cashews and the wonton strips. And the lettuce was only the heart of the lettuce! I went on the website to check the macros and I cut out the things that were missing in my salad and I didn't have the dressing and it says that the salad is only 10cal with the chicken.
