My wife and I were out to get some take-out to take to a new brewery, Hackamore, nearby. We entered and we had a $25 gift card. I ordered the chicken buffalo toasted baguette and my wife got a bread bowl, She loves her carbs. They have free water, but it took about twenty minutes to get our order. WHAT!? It would have probably been four stars if the wait wasn't so crazy long. The sandwich was good size and flavorful, but it could have been a lot spicier. I get that it is Minnesota, but some spice would be nice. The chicken was juicy and the bread was out of bounds good. My wife loved her sourdough breadbowl. Had an Asiago bagel chicken sandwich, not even a tablespoon of chicken and way to much sauce

The inside of the restaurant is dirty. Carpeting is filthy with crumbs and food. Tables are not wiped clean nor are the seats. I ended up eating my order outside. It was that bad. They must be very short staffed but you still think someone could take a rag and wipe the tables and chairs and run a vacuum. read more

I go to this Panera location at least once a week and they have for the most part always gotten my order right. I only ever do pick-up so I don't know what the dine in experience is like. As far as take out goes, I LOVE it. I place my order on the app and then head in store to their pick up counter for my food. Every time I order the tomato soup they forget my croutons which is a bummer, but aside from that they get everything spot on. read more

We order from here frequently and only once have we had an order mishap. I contacted corporate customer service and was provided a free sandwich voucher. I really only ever use drive thru and order puck up so I cannot really speak to any other in-store services but everything else would be the service you would expect. read more

I just recently discovered Panera for breakfast. I have enjoyed the steel oats immensely along with the veggie avocado toast. The ingredients have been have been fresh and every time I've ordered those two products they've been consistently wonderful. I have found the service and their staff very personable and, engaging. their dining area has been very welcoming and clean. I do enjoy that they serve one of my guilty pleasures of Mountain Dew. Although all the staff members have been kind, Tom, in particular, is super friendly and goes out of his way to make sure customers have a pleasant experience. After years of loving Panera, I have to say I am no longer a fan. My pick two for $23 ended up being completely disappointing. The sandwich bread was barely covered with anything and contained two tiny slivers of almonds and one half grape. The soup was almost all flour with no taste, no chicken, and a few grains of rice. A total ripoff. What's worse, the two other Panera Breads in the western suburbs are equally bad, although the service attitude at the Ridgedale location is the worst. My partner tried talking me into saying something to management, but when I've done it in the past at the Ridgedale location, they couldn't have been any clearer that they absolutely don't care. read more

I agree with other reviews, this restaurant needs management help. We've done drive thru multiple times and the order is always wrong. We've been inside and while I think the big iPad ordering is cool, it seems as though it is better to go to the counter. For the most part, it is delicious food. Just ok service and confusing entry to the store. 1.). Double check drive through orders. 2.). Get a better and more welcoming front to the store. 3.). Some how they managed to run out of bread then while we are trying to find something else to order we were being rushed by not just one but 2 different people taking the order. With all of the frustration my husband didn't get anything and I settled for just a cup of soup and they didn't give me spoon to use nor did they give me the toppings that it came with. Very disappointing; no vegan options. The menu lists "plant based" items, but they are NOT plant based. Many restaurants today are offering greater vegan options due to increased demand. Panera is not one of these. read more

Where do I start? Used this location since my normal one was out of an item. So there are inventory issues. The wait was absurd and despite having the items in stock when I ordered, they tried to pass off substitutes later that I didn't want and yet kept the money for the expensive options I selected. Then when I drove home 12 miles one way, only a quarter of the order was correct! There were major food allergy issues that could've hospitalized me if I wasn't paying close attention. So I threw out the whole order. Their staff also have comprehension issues when reading. Despite marking everything that was correct on the receipt, that didn't not correlate to what was in my bag. Like how does that even happen? It's matching 101. Skills preschoolers learn. Save yourself the headache and avoid this location. At least the other location I am a regular at knows how to read. First, if I could have given this Chanhassen Panera -5 stars I would have! I live in the area and I will drive to the Shakopee or Ridgedale stores before I ever go this one again. My wife and I have gone there a few times now to give them a fair chance and nothing has improved, in fact, it got worse! I went through the drive through today. After I got home there was one item missing and the chicken noodle soup I ordered was all broth, no chicken and no noodles no. I called the location and they told me that I had to go back to the restaurant if I wanted my money refunded for the error they made. I am not upset about the error, I understand people make mistakes. I am upset that they require me to go back to the restaurant to refund my money for the error they made. I had eaten at this restaurant before and the food had been good, so during the virus I ordered curbside pickup. It was perfect last week, but now menu items are being altered and substituted without saying so online. I realize that, due to the virus, there will be supply chain issues, but they should properly clarify the current menu offerings online. I was not happy with the service today and phoned them. That's when I learned of the issues. The manager offered a voucher for a future order, but I think I'll just wait. We were in town and decided to try this Panera Bread. I ordered the green goddess salad. I order this same salad almost once a week from a location closer to home. We arrived home and I checked my salad out... they forgot to add the chicken here to my salad-one of the main components. Thank goodness they added the one egg! Hoping the next time someone orders the green goddess they add the chicken. Otherwise, Panera is usually great, I suggest the Saint Louis Park location or Eden Prairie as they're usually on top of orders and if you've not tried the green goddess salad I suggest trying it! read more

First thing you see when when you walk in are several ordering kiosks. This created a huge bottleneck of people standing around blocking the way in our out. Our kiosk didn't even have all the items listed on the regular menu, so we tried to go order the old fashioned way. But the worker said the kitchen was backed-up and we couldn't order for 10 minutes. A very odd statement, but whatever. So we went back to a kiosk and ordered whatever they had. Once our food came my wife's chicken salad had frozen chunks of chicken on it. Literally rock solid, frozen chicken. Went to bring it back and it took several minutes to flag down any worker who would acknowledge me. A lot of the tables were dirty and the dish disposal areas were a disaster. Right now this place is a mess. Maybe after a while they'll get things figured out and we'll try it again. read more

I've gone through this drive thru at least 10 times and I've done curbside pick up more times than I can count but the ONLY reason I come back is because I enjoy the food. Their customer service is lackluster at best. They ALWAYS forget something! My visit today was a bit hurried so I reiterated how important it was for my order to be correct the first time (I always have to come back because the order is wrong). It was about 12:15 PM, so I understand it's busy. I sat in the drive through a long time, but I expected and budgeted my schedule for that. The guy taking my order was great, I even reminded him about the things that usually get forgotten. I finished going through the drive thru and pulled straight into a parking spot to check my food. They'd forgotten one of the items I'd specifically reminded him about. Annoyed, I pull into the Rapid Pick Up area where they bring food out to you, hoping that as they bring food out they would also stop and ask me about how they could help me. I also called the number on the sign, expecting to be able to have them run the item out. The recording said it was a busy time, but if it was urgent they would get to me as soon as possible. I let it ring 5 or 6 more times, then it disconnected with no rhyme or reason. I grabbed a mask to run into the store (I use an inhaler, and struggle, especially when upset, to catch my breath. I usually use a special mask, but I was in a hurry so I just grabbed a basic one.) I ran down to the counter because the order counter was deserted with no employees in sight. There were several of the curbside delivery people (the same ones who saw and ignored me) standing there waiting for food. They noticed me right away, but rather than asking me how they could help they went straight to demanding I put on a mask and not addressing my issues. I obliged and went to my car after receiving my item. When I got home, I grabbed the bags of food, and one of the lids had not been secured on my soup. It had leaked steadily out into the bottom of the bag while I was driving home. Everything dropped out through the bottom of the bag, including a bowl of soup all over the seat of my car. It took a while to clean up which blew my schedule to shambles. I tried to call the store once again and was again disconnected before I got a chance to speak to anyone. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to a Panera but I will keep trying to call for a manager. I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

The food is pretty decent, so we keep trying... but without fail they mess up our order every single time without exception. They either leave things out or give us the wrong thing. They never apologize for the inconvenience either. I understand places are short staffed but this is just them being careless. They had a manager packing the order and they left one of our sandwiches out which I realized when we got home. They have delivered items to us which we pay for and leave tips and they never get the order correct. I think I need to be done with them. read more
