Roti is like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle where you can make salads, bowls, or pitas by choosing for yourself, or you can use set combinations. I chose the skirt steak and Brussels sprouts bowl, which uses saffron rice as the foundation for sumac skirt steak, lemony Brussels sprouts, grape tomatoes, olives, and garlic sauce. As I was part of a group getting food to go, it was nice to order food that was assembled fast. I was pretty happy with how things went until I saw my companion behind me ordered the same thing as me, and he got bread and I had not. I had to go back to the counter to request that, and the guy didn't apologize but instead looked peeved. I found the food to be fine. Very flavorful, the ingredients fresh. It was nicely filling. I've only been to Roti Mediterranean twice so far (in 5 days!) and I've had the harissa chicken salad both times. It is so delicious! Both times I also got two falafel for $1 and the pita bread that comes with the salad. The pita bread is really good, too. They have a few special teas and Coke fountain products. Roti is a great break from the usual burger and sandwich routine if you are looking for a quick meal. There is also a shortage of Mediterranean / Middle Eastern food around here, so this is at least something. We got a kids bowl, a regular chicken bowl and a harissa chicken pita. The food overall is pretty good, nothing amazing, but it is good for a break from the usual stuff. My harissa chicken was tasty, but there was so much extra juice added (not drained off when serving), that my pita was instantly soaked and disintegrated. I ended up eating just the chicken. The bowl was pretty good, again something different than the bowl at other fast food places. One note is that the staff was nice, but seemed bogged down with balancing mobile orders and in-person orders and they kept confusing who was what. in the end, they didn't mess anything up, but they could improve there as it did slow things down a bit. read more

Came here after a tough gym workout session in search a healthy meal. I found just that! I ordered a spicy chicken bowl. (can't remember the exact name of the dish), it came with chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onions, cilantro/parsley, and i ordered some garlic sauce to drizzle over top. It was delicious! My only complaint would be that some of the ingredients could have been more fresh, but everything tasted good and I'd definitely come back again if I was looking for a quick and healthy lunch. The staff here is very friendly, and it seems to be kept very clean. I loved the FALAFEL & HUMMUS pita that I ordered. It was my first time here so I Googled the menu and since I eat Vegan I chose that particular item. When I walked into the restaurant I quickly noticed that the setup is a lot like Chipotle but that's not what I expected. When I asked for that particular pita the 2 guys looked at each other in surprise and then pulled out a stack of recipe cards and shuffled through them until they found the ingredients for this particular menu item. All in all what they prepared was excellent tasting and well prepared but I am still in shock that if that is a regular item, at least on their take out menu, why they would not have first hand knowledge on how to make it? As a first time customer I would have appreciated if the workers were more friendly and proactive and explained to me how this system of ordering worked. At least they could have asked if I needed any help...which they did not. Every place is different. However, now that I know the set up I will certainly be back because the food is definitely that good. I wish I could have given 5 stars if the service had been just a little bit better. read more

One of my favorite counter service spot for a salad with a kick. They serve modern Mediterranean inspired salads plus pita bread. They have different bowl options and greens, the protein, then all the topping, and dressings which are more flavorful and spicy if you like that. I usually add humus (complimentary) and the red spicy sauce with the marinaded grill chicken. My friend got the salmon which was still tender. I've been missing my usual modern Mediterranean place because I'm still not comfortable eating in restaurants and it's too far away to travel well enough to make the commute for takeout. I wanted some good Mediterranean so I decided to give Roti a try. I am SO glad I did. In fact, this is my second night in a row having Roti for dinner because I was so happy with how it tasted last night! I ordered a build your own laffa wrap both times, with falafel as my main filling. The falafel is AMAZING. It's got such great flavor. I also like the other options you can get inside the wrap. Their veggies are all fresh and flavorful. I got a combination of the garlic and dill sauces and it is so delicious! The best part is, these wraps are stuffed full so you won't finish your meal hungry! I can't wait until I can safely eat out again so I can try this fresh at the restaurant. 10/4/22: Overall 1.5 stars. The first time we came to this franchise (different location), it was so good that of course we wanted to come back. This was our first and last time at this location, and quite frankly, after this dining experience, we may be done with Roti, as the quality seems to have gone downhill (as stated to me from my friends who live in the Twin Cities). You walk in & order like a Chipotle and pay at the register, then you go up to get your food. First, I'll start with the positives. It's unlimited selections of sides, toppings & sauces and if it ended up being a good meal, the prices would've been fair. So they charge surcharges for almost all of the proteins now. When we got our food, it was BARELY lukewarm and the bread (which used to be good) wasn't warm either. And bland. Overall, our meals were just blah and I feel like I wasted money. And the falafel was extremely dry. We would've been better off going to the Costco food court, in the same parking lot! This was a very disappointing meal and a waste of money. I probably should've complained, but there was a line of customers that came in after us, so I didn't want to wait. Also, their bathrooms need to be cleaned! I suppose this could've been a fluke...or who knows, maybe they are just that bad now at all locations. But at these prices, I don't wanna take a chance at coming back, just to flush more money down the toilet. Not that $11.50 per bowl is a ton of money, but for a fast food type of place, it's not cheap either. Bummed, cuz we did love it the first time (Edina location). But this St. Louis Park location, truly misses the mark. I'll be nice & round up to 2 stars though, as I try to save clicking the 1 star button for rude workers, and no one was rude here. Quick and easy "chipotle" style fast food Mediterranean food. Came here for a past workout meal since I was craving something healthy. Got the chicken harissa (per the staff recommendation, because it was more flavorful than the chicken roti) and it definitely was saucy :) love that they have cauliflower rice if you're looking for a lower carb option and not in the mood for a salad. Also love that they have unlimited toppings, but (maybe I missed it) I didn't see any hummus which was odd, would love to see that added to their topping and sauce options. They did have spicy feta which was great. The staff was super friendly and the portions were pretty big, couldn't even finish my whole bowl lol. The bowl also came with a small fluffy pita. Roti is our go to healthy meal spot. The concept is simple, a salad/protein/topping/sauce bar where you could either get their curated salads or create your own. Very similar to chipotle, sweetgreen, and poke style. My favorite combo to get is a base of cauliflower rice, seasoned chicken, hummus, their spicy green sauce and feta cheese. I've never had falafel that moist; usually, falafels are rather dry. I've been here probably half a dozen times. The food is amazing! I'd recommend their tasting plate with everything to begin. Everything is always super fresh and flavorful. Now, here's where I knock them down a couple stars. The staff is a mess. Constantly. I was going to leave a review after my second time there, but wanted to give them some time (the store was new then) to find their rhythm. Almost every time I go in, there are so many staff members, and many of them have no idea what they are doing. Last night when I got there, there were four people on one end of the line and I wasn't greeted. Two of them stared at me as if I were an alien. I said hi, and they ignored me but continued to look at my son and I. Eventually I had to ask if I could order. Pretty poor customer service if you ask me. Once I ordered, there should have been a seamless handoff between each employee in the line but again there was not. People taking things out of order, orders getting mixed up and confused and just a total mess. When I was at the end, they tried to charge me for someone else's order and I had to tell them that I had no idea who that order was made for. Again, what a mess. I shouldn't have had to do that. I hope they can train the employees to solve the issues, because the food is fantastic! My tip: go in with patience, and take it to go! read more

When I got to the checkout counter, the cookies were still cooling down so the man at the register, who I assumed is the manager, told me he would bring it to my table once they were ready. This review is based on curbside order pickup. Ordering online was super easy and actually educational. It gave me insight into what ingredients went into each of the dishes and add-ons. For example, I learned Roti uses soybean oil in most of their items. I personally want to avoid those oils so seeing this detail next to each item helped me create a bowl with the "cleanest" ingredients and it was still super tasty. My only tip with curbside pickup is to call even if you check in online as the order screen instructs. I sat in the spot for almost 10 minutes waiting for my order, my car in clear view of the cashier and staff. When I called, the lady said their system didn't register my arrival because I didn't have an account with them. So heads up that there must be a glitch in their system that doesn't recognize guest account orders and save yourself the extra wait time. Otherwise super fast and easy ordering process. read more

I dread coming to this place.... My wife likes the food here so she sends me to pick it up every now and then. The location is clean but not much room to stand if your waiting for an order. I have been to this location 4 times and each time I come the staff here ignores me for a few minutes when I walk up to the counter to ask for my order.
