I brought my family to this location twice in the last two weeks. Both times the restaurant was overrun with non-paying customers. Many people sitting in the prime spots in the dining room, hogging the best tables, hogging the electrical outlets, stealing drinks from the soda machine. When I come to a restaurant and spend $100 for five people to eat, I don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of freeloaders that make the dining room stink. I get it, times are tough but it is unacceptable for Panera to continue this practice of ignoring the dining room and letting the less fortunate control the enjoyment of all paying guests. At our two visits I recognized 3 separate customers that were there on both occasions, sitting in the same locations and apparently never moving all day long. Sad Day! We are a family of 9 so my husband and I rarely get a date night, but when we do we usually go to Panera because I love the salads. Tonight we went and my husband didn't get any bacon on his mac and cheese, they were out of the bread for the sandwich he wanted so he chose something else but they still gave him the wrong bread and they didn't give him any butter for his baguette. I'm glad this place took over the old Krispy Kreme location! What better business than Panera? I love this location simply because of the easy access from all the major cross streets. There is plenty of parking and they even have a drive thru window! How cool is that? I frequent the Panera in Roseville and we have neither (great parking or drive thru)! No offense, I still love this chain. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always easy to find a clean table. My recent favorite to order is the Thai salad with the Thai soup, delish! I needed a place to kill time and this was the best place being in the area. I didnt want to go to a starbucks or a mcdonalds to pass the time away. This was the best alternative to feel cozy and relaxed. It's very spacious and clean. There were a lot of tables and to my surprise, they have a lot of customers. I ordered a chocolate chip bagel and hazelnut spread on the side. I also ordered a cheese pastry and hot chocolate. I was already full. I couldn't finish my cheese pastry. Saturday evening at 6:pm The Manager Alejandra S. Is the BEST manager at Panera. I had a $10 Bonus Giftcard that expired January 31, 2021 and was unable to use it due to an injury. I wrote Customer Service back in February and they said they will add the $10 to my account but they did not. I have the email and showed it to Alejandra S. but she just took my word for it and gave me my $10 toward a meal. I ordered on the mobile app for curbside pick up and was beginning to get impatient as minutes kept going by. I walked in a stood by the kitchen bar, the employees looked at me and then looked away. I tried to say excuse me and nothing. It wasn't even busy. Also, the app told me there was no more French bread available and when I asked in store, they had it. Super confusing. Anyhoo, I arrived at Pānārium to find an empty lobby with 3 gals behind the counter with backs to the lobby and fully engaged in conversation (no doubt about the merits of steaming bagels versus boiling them). I waited for someone to greet me. Tick-tock, tick-tock. Time passed slowly as the conversation continued. Eventually, one of the gals turned her head, looked at me, then turned back around to continue the conversation. I should have left at that point...but having skipped lunch I was craving a snack in that in-between meals time. Eventually, I was greeted and I placed my order for an Asiago bagel, double toast. Then things went further south when I was told that the only cream cheese choice was plain ol' cream cheese. What the smear?!? I later found out it was due to a Listeria scare...but this wasn't shared by the cashier. More time passed. How long does it take to slice a bagel and toast it? I usually see them do this at the counter where you order, but apparently they were too busy and left it to the kitchen to deal with this complex order. Not pleased with the cashier, she continued to talk over us as we tried to decide our order, then had the audacity to be nasty to us after saying 'give us a second', and she repeated herself twice as if we should have memorized your menu and all the items it comes with. After saying 'give us a second' a co-worker walked up and only heard my exchange and the cashier turned to her co-worker and the co-worker rolled her eyes. Extremely impatient and disrespectful ladies. Sometimes when you're hungry and tired you can't always think quickly. Also, no one was behind us in line, doubt she felt any pressure to move us along. Where we waited for our takeout order the lady who handed us our food was very kind; although, one sandwich was not put together well, avocado was smeared on the paper and wasn't placed inside the sandwich...which it could have easily slipped out during the wrapping process, just very messy and soggy kind of gross. I love Panera food and always come to this location since it's down close to where I live. I'm a main customer and always buy for me and my daughter. As a frequent customer of Panera, I have always appreciated the quality of service and food. However, my most recent visit was nothing short of frustrating and disheartening. On 7/9/24, I placed an order through the drive-thru, only to receive the wrong items. Understanding that mistakes happen, I called the store and was assured that I could return at my convenience to receive the correct order along with a complimentary treat as a gesture of apology Today, July 12th, I returned to the store to pick up my replacement order and encountered further issues that deeply disappointed me. Upon explaining my situation to Anthony, your drive-thru support, I was met with confusion and had to repeat my issue multiple times. When I requested to change the complimentary treat to another bagel, I was informed there would be a charge of $1.98. Despite having to pay for what was my replacement order my order was not promptly fulfilled and had to wait in drive thru 12 min. During my wait at the window, I noticed a female employee who appeared to disregard my attempts to gain her attention, even laughing off my gestures. After enduring an extended wait and feeling dismissed, I made the difficult decision to park and enter the store, despite my mobility issues as a disabled individual. Inside, I sought out Anthony, only to be redirected to the female employee who had been dismissing me , Anthony then stated, "I asked her to complete your order". Your store manager, Shayna stepped in, and I was asked to explain my situation yet again. Shayna did not remain neutral or empathetic about the situation, she was in fact rude. I then proceeded to ask for the corporate's contact information and the employee's details. Shayna's respond with " I do not have to give me my employees information and I do not have corporate's phone number at the top of head", simply being dismissive and unhelpful, I responded with " I have been waiting for 15 minutes, I will wait 5 more to get corporate's information", Shyna was so reluctant to give me the information, even going as far as in and out of her office, which added to my negative experience. We tried this location for dinner and I thought the food was tasty. I got a salad my daughter got the tomato soup. I felt it was a good healthy option while I try to do the keto diet. My dislikes were: 1. The service, no one working seemed to know the menu. I asked the worker what was in the veggie soup and she said, "veggies?" She asked the girl working with her and she didn't know either. Eventually they went to the back and asked the cook. 2.The menu. There were no details on the menu and since I'm trying to do the keto diet I need to know what's in the food I'm eating.
