We stopped here on a whim while visiting family in Citrus Heights because we thought the name was a fun coincidence (My wife is ABC and she is half Vietnamese). She got some beef pho and a side of spring rolls with peanut sauce, I got the Lemongrass chicken rice plate with fried rice instead of white rice and asked them to make it extra spicy. The flavors were absolutely phenomenal (their leftovers beat most of our local Viet places fresh out of the kitchen). We have now agreed to make it a point to stop here every time we're in Sacramento. Service was ridiculously fast as well (Less than 10 minutes for food from when we ordered) and the wait staff was super attentive. Cannot recommend Pho ABC highly enough. read more

Came here and their website prices are different from their prices listed in the restaurant. When I addressed it they still charged me the higher price and said they haven't updated their pricing online. She asked me if I called in and I said I did. For my Togo order. But the guy who answered didn't tell me the price. Simply took my order and she should honor the price. She just told me my order would be out shortly. Went in today cause the Mrs was craving Viet. The staff was very friendly to us and our 1 year old. They were very attentive and accommodating; always saying hi or trying to talk to our baby. I liked that when we asked for a small bowl to give her noodles, they brought us a small pair of scissors to cut the noodles. Not many places put forth that kind of thought or consideration. I read the reviews on here and thought I would give it a try. I'm not too picky when it comes to pho. I usually order the combination pho at almost every Vietnamese restaurant I go to. Even when reviews on Yelp are bad, I still like to try places for myself because everyone has different tastes, and sometimes restaurants just have an off day. My family and I went around 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., around the time they opened. Maybe because we arrived a little before opening, they were using broth from the previous night and added more water, or maybe the broth just didn't have enough time to simmer properly. I'm not sure, but the pho was not good. To me, it was pretty nasty. Even the Vietnamese iced coffee tasted burnt. It seemed like they used a regular coffee maker instead of brewing it the traditional Vietnamese way. I'm not a coffee snob, but I do know my Vietnamese coffee, and I couldn't even drink it. Their sugar cane drink wasn't good either. I didn't like it one bit. Overall, it was a bad experience for me. The pho and drinks just didn't taste right. Like I said, it might have just been a bad day for them, but overall, I wouldn't go back. If you want to try, go ahead. You might have a better experience. read more

Meeting up with local friend otw to Tahoe and they suggested this place which is a little out of the way from our route but it definitely worth the detour! Price is cheap, portion is huge & food is good! The XL combo pho is only $16.75 and definitely enough for 2 people. Bun bo hue L is $16.25 and the most surprising price is the fresh sugar cane which is only $4.95! It has slight hint of kumquat which is common add-on but I'll see if they can skip it next time because I like pure sugar cane juice by itself. I'm not saying it's life-changing, but if you hear a small choir of angels singing in your head after the first bite, don't be alarmed. Completely normal. The avocado shake deserves its own paragraph. Because, I mean, who knew that something so green could taste so decadent? It was creamy, lightly sweet, and somehow rich without being heavy. I ordered pad Thai because I'm not a pho person anyway. It was thrown together. Shrimp slimy. Peanut sauce tasted like they dropped it in the sink. The food was awful. Did not smell appealing or look appealing either. I'm thinking they used food that was going bad for our order? I don't know but I spent almost 60$ in total for food we can't eat. Moved from the Elk Grove/Sacramento area to Roseville and have not found a good pho place until Pho ABC. Pho ABC is still a bit further to where we live, but definitely closer than South Sacramento.
