Great service. We had a lady take our order who was fairly new but said we were her smoothest customers all day. While waiting for food, the preparer forgot to make my sandwich with no mayo but caught it before he handed it to me and fixed it right away. I love Panera Bread and it's one of my favorite restaurants. I have been a die-hard fan of their baked potato soup since I had it and I love the simple food of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Their bread is good and the pastries are pretty tasty too. I do think the quality has gone down the past few years. I used to love getting the turkey bacon bravo but I rarely order it now since the bacon is terrible and they've gotten really sloppy. I also enjoy the salads but hate the multitude of "spines" on the lettuce. Another negative is the price. I usually get a you pick 2 and it's at least $10 for half a sandwich and a cup of soup or a bowl of salad. Half of a turkey sandwich is literally $5! That's ridiculous when you can buy giant burgers for the same price. I don't go near as often as I used to when the quality was better but I still go to have their delicious soup and something lighter like a salad. It's also a great place to bring your computer and relax (if it's not packed). read more

I've been to several and this one had the worst service out of all of the ones I have been to. There were people who came after us who got their food before us. They put our soups on the hot plate a took a long time to get the sandwiches on the plate so the soups were not that hot. Then when we went back to ask for the bread they forgot to put on there and for some butter, the girl behind the counter acted like it was the end of the world to get us those. Good healthy options. Panera is always a solid choice to go to for sandwiches, soup, and salads. Place was busy on a Friday night. Service was perfect. A few vegetarian options. Very limited for vegan though. We had the veggie sandwich with no cheese, the vegetable soup, and a mediteranean salad without the feta. The soup was a little bland, but perked up with more salt and pepper. The salad was very good. The sandwich had good bread. read more

The service is extremely rude when I get food in the morning. Also, don't ask for a customized sandwich. They don't like that. You'll spend an extra dollar for one item, they'll forget to put cheese or something else on it, and they'll burn your bread. For the second time in two weeks, I came to this location to be ignored by staff as I stood at the counter waiting for service. Only this time, the manager came up to the register and took the order of the woman standing behind me as if I were invisible. There are far too many options in the area to be running off your customers this way. After the first time, I thought it was an anomaly but I see now that they just have bad management. I've been frequenting this Panera for years even prior to moving to the Cleveland area, as we did not have one in my hometown thirty minutes away. Foremost, making a half-hour drive for their food should speak for itself- it's very good, and very consistent. I've never been served anything that I wasn't satisfied with. The service is good- I've never had a poor experience with any of the cashiers. Most of them are quite friendly. The lines can get very long, especially in the breakfast rush and mid-evening, so cross your fingers that they didn't forget something or your wait time will be sizable to get it. I wouldn't recommend going in a hurry to begin with, as our usual wait for food at a peak meal time is 15+ minutes. If you're taking the drive-through, check your bag before you leave the parking lot- small items like chips and baguettes sometimes go forgotten. The fresh breads and bakery items are fantastic. Watch for seasonal items- the iced shortbread cookies and pumpkin items are great, as are their cafe drinks. The calorie counts are now placed on the large menu over the ordering area, making your choices slightly easier if you're watching your intake. Many healthy options, and many just as decadent. The establishment is clean and there's clearly a lot of care put into keeping it looking and running well. Dining there has always been a pleasure and I always leave happy with my meal. read more

I went there this morning. I wasn't sure they were even open b/c there were barely any cars in the parking lot and none in the drive thru. I pulled up and waited almost 2 min for someone to take my order (I called while I was waiting to see if they were open for sure). I then pulled up to the window and waited another 4ish minutes for my money to be taken. I then waited another 4ish minutes for my one breakfast wrap. I could see it if they were super busy, but they clearly were not. Not to mention, the young lady working the drive thru needs some customer service 101. I really don't understand why people are rating this place so poorly. Their soups and sandwiches are spectacular, coffee always tastes fresh, and the service is actually pretty good. Only problems I've had here are that the hot water they put out so you can make tea is occasionally NOT hot, and ONE time my bread-bowl soup had a hole in it. These things happen. Sometimes, I'd go to get a certain kind of coffee, and they'd be out of that particular kind. I'm not too particular of a coffee-drinker, though, so I just move on to the next variety, and let their staff know their out of one variety. It's a fairly casual environment, and I often see people ranging everywhere from college students to elderly couples eating here. Given that I'm currently unemployed, it suits my needs quite well: Wifi, relatively cheap food, coffee, and let's not forget the people that eat there. It's a good place to make connections. That's really all I have to say. If anyone asks who recommended this place, tell 'em Big C sent you. read more

I haven't had a complaint about the quality of the food. This morning before church I ordered a steak, egg, cheese sandwich. I was asked if I wanted the egg over easy to which I replied "over hard". When I took the first bite egg yolk squirted out onto my shirt and pants. Fortunately I was able to clean most of it off in the restroom. Not a big deal except it was the opposite of how I ordered my egg. Recently my wife took her food back 3 times before they did what she asked. Earlier this week I got a breakfast sandwich that was on the wrong bread and the eggs was runny & slid off (the sandwich I ordered was supposed to have scrambled egg). Tonight we ordered for pick up again. I figured if this gets jacked up we'll just be done with Panera. Of course what I ordered was not what we got & there was no phone call to verify a replacement etc. (the Dalton location has done that in the past & it was great). We won't be back. These people really need to step up their barista skills. I ordered an Americano and they had no clue what I was talking about so I told them how to make it and it wasn't very good. On my next visit I ordered an iced coffee with two sugars and they didn't dissolve the sugar into the coffee before it was cold so all the sugar settled on the bottom. There is a narrow ridge at the bottom of their cups so all the non-dissolved sugar sat in the ridge with no way to stir the sugar into the coffee because the straw is wider than the ridge. They do have a nice lemonade and iced chai latte. read more

I recently moved to the Cleveland area and I usually use the rapid pick up order. When I went to get my order, their system was down. But they got to work right away and had my order ready in a few minutes. And the manager put in a bag of chocolate chip cookies to apologize for the delay, which I thought was extremely nice. Close extremely early, when they say 9 oclock they close at 8 oclock. The man who cleans the doors and washes the windows hits on pretty young women and says very inappropriate and colorful words.
