We stopped here for a late dinner. In fact it was about an hour before they closed. As soon as we opened the door the greeted us. They were really friendly to us. My husband and I got the Salad Bar ($10.29 each) and our son ordered the Roadt Beef Sandwich ($9.79 + 0.69 for cheese). The Salad Bar was freshly stocked and clean. Very impressive since they were closing in less than an hour. This is a nice place to grab lunch, snack, or dinner. read more

The salad bar here is so great!! There's lots of toppings and dressings to choose from. There's also a bunch of seeds and croutons as well as moist little cornbread muffins plus ginger muffins. They also put out cones and have a vanilla & chocolate soft serve machine. Each of our salads was only about $10 each and were very fresh and big. read more

Sandwiches are pretty good. Not the level of service I would like. Chips were all broken. Sandwiched were bland. Had to ask multiple times for a table to be cleaned. When I asked about use of restrooms I was sternly told to go away because they weren't available. I was given a bag of chips which was nice. read more

Great deli! We had a wonderful lunch. It was my first visit. We started with a cup of soup, I chose chicken pot pie and my partner had gumbo. They were delicious. I especially enjoyed the puffed pastry on mine. The sandwiches were delicious too! I had their Muffuletta and my partner had the Ruben. Yummy! The service was excellent. Love the salad bar. Always a good selection. I usually get the same thing everytime I go in. A half reuben and a side salad with a drink. WOW. The days of a $10 lunch are long gone. I spent $21.96 with a tip. The corned beef didn't taste the same on this visit. The quality was off, and the color wasn't right. I hope they didn't go with a cheaper corned beef to save money. If I get the same meat, on the next visit, I will send it back. Our Jason's is always kept clean and the staff are great. I didn't know if they offered a veteran's discount; I was wearing my veteran submarine jacket when I went in, the cashier didn't ask me or give me one. This location was just "okay". I placed an online order for a plain sandwich and fruit cup, and although the restaurant was basically deserted, it was not ready on time. There were plenty of employees working at the time but it did not seem like any of them were really doing much... they eventually asked me my name and what I was waiting on and then prepared it at that point. Great Service, Quality Food, Cozy Atmosphere To start the blonde girl at the register was really friendly and polite. She made extra effort to be a nice person. I don't remember names well but she was the only blonde girl I saw day before yesterday at lunch. She gets this place an extra star... The steak po boy was pretty good but needed more inside of it... a grown man my size needs more food. I liked it but is was lightly filled and mostly bread... The salmon sandwich was disappointing to say the least. The taste is good but my goodness who can pay $13 for a sandwich that is only 6 bites and be happy to need 4 more to get the stomach to be happy? It was so small my 1-1/2 year old could have almost eaten the whole thing! I feel like I used to eat at a Jason's deli in Arizona years ago and the sandwiches were awesome and much more filled. Tough look for Jasons deli today. I ordered food on DoorDash to pick up, app tells me ready in 30 minutes. I get there when the app says your food is ready, food is not ready. they tell me it was made and must've gotten taken so they need to remake it. This is the only Jason's Deli in Chattanooga, but I've got to say it's the only one you need. The staff were so friendly and great. They took the time to try to help my mom place her order in the most economical combo possible. But I really want to review them for their Catering. I ordered almost 200 Baked Potato/Salad meals for an event in the area. The managers took their time to get my order right and even called me back several times to make me aware of changes or issues. By delivery day everything was wonderful. The food looked and tasted fresh. There was plenty of needed condiments. And the cookies were fantastic. We had leftover cookies that we took to a second site and everyone said they were the best cookies they had that week. (We ordered a lot of cookies from different places). I would recommend them for catering and I would use them again if in the area. Fantastic Job! They may be my new go-to place for cookies. read more

I have not been to a Jason's Deli in years. Well it turns out that this place is across the parking lot from the new grocery I was going to. The line was stretched for what seemed like a city block. I thought that it was a good sign because there are literally hundreds of places to eat around here. While waiting a saw a sign that said salad bar is back. A quick peak and a saw that it was neat and well stocked, so I ordered that . It's a one trip salad bar and you are given gloves that you must wear and there is hand sanitizer too. Three kinds of lettuce, massive array of cut veggies, several kinds of shredded cheese, potato salad, pickles, hard boiled eggs, croutons, nuts , sunflower seeds , 10 kinds of dressing and mini muffins all for $8.29. I sat near the salad bar and marveled at how tall the salads were being mounted. Several towers of Pisa went past me. Mine was pretty big and it took me a long time to finish it. As I ate trays of delicious sandwiches and soups were being brought out to smiling faces. My hubby made his own sandwich and had a choice of soup, Mac n cheese or fresh fruit for a side. His sandwich was toasted and had a good bite to it. The broccoli and cheese soup was really good too! After our meal we had the free ice cream cones! Lots of parking! Great for families. My first ever experience at Jason's Deli and I was not disappointed at all. What I have learned so far is that Jason's Deli is a typical sandwich shop with a few quirks. Quirk #1: Muffelettas My friends that come here all the time boast that this is pretty much the only place you can get the cajun delicacy of a muffeletta, a "muffuletta loaf split horizontally and covered with layers of marinated olive salad, salami, ham, Swiss cheese, provolone, and mortadella." Jason's muffeletta is gigantic, so a quarter size with a side is a decent lunch. Quirk 2: Molasses Muffins Free for anyone who orders food, the molasses muffins remind me of gingerbread. Remember kids, always eat dessert first! lol Quirk 3: FREE ICE CREAM and fixin's Going with the "Dessert First" philosophy, ice cream is free to anyone who orders food. While you're waiting for your sandwich, you can grab an ice cream cone (or fill up a water cup with ice cream!) There is chocolate syrup and sliced almonds available as toppings. However, you can get creative. Fruit comes as a side option with sandwiches. So, you can have an chocolate syrup on your fruit as well as ice cream. Another option is to make an ice cream sandwich with the free molasses muffins. You're welcome. I can appreciate that this restaurant is clean, has plenty of healthy [organic] options, and has a decent salad buffet that has fresh, NOT ROTTEN, produce. I did the Manager's Special - Build Your Own Sandwich and make my own salad. When you go make your own salad, you're given gloves, you're required to wear a mask. I am not sure if you're able to make multiple trips to the salad bar. But this is something I plan to find out on my next visit. Don't know that I can ever eat at the salad bar again. while dining in had to watch a customer spend 15 minutes at the bar making a to go salad. I ordered a Ruben Sandwich from Jason's Deli two days ago. I hadn't had one in a while but knew I wouldn't be disappointed. That how much faith I had in Jason's Deli. I ordered there constantly in the past. I used them for many events in the past. I hadn't used them in a while due to being on a specific diet. The other day, I decided to treat myself. I was disappointed. My Ruben was the worst I had anywhere. There were no dressing on it. There was no kraut or cheese on it. I can say it was loaded with meat that was dry dry dry. I couldn't believe it. My favorite place didn't do this to me. I couldn't call because I received my delivery just before closing. That maybe the reason for my disappointment. Maybe nothing was left to create their fantastic sandwich. I rather you call me than to force me to give you a poor rating. You received a 2 only because the soup was hot and flavor. Leaving Simply Mac we were both ready for lunch and basically stopped at first place we saw. This deli is the real deal. It had been raining all morning. It was quite busy but they were cranking the sandwiches out. John ordered the California club which is on a croissant. I ordered the Muffuletta. Purposely getting the 1/2 and not the 1/4 so Lucy could have some meat. I have a soft spot for Italian sandwiches or Muffulettas. The absolute best salad bar in Hamilton County. I have to admit I haven't tried anything else because the salad bar is so out-of-this-world incredible. Nice folks, great food, inviting environment. Despite its age, they've kept the place fresh, clean, and pleasant and you'd never know that the place was over a decade old. The food is still as good as when they opened, although the salad bar restrictions and reduction in variety are a sad change. I had the Original New Yorker, which I wish they would heat just a little bit longer. Although flavorful, it cooled off too quickly and wasn't even heated enough to melt the cheese. The staff were diligently keeping the dining room clean on this busy day and the people behind the counter were friendly. For a quick lunch, a group of three had lunch at Jason's deli. The process of ordering and food reminded me of Souplantation/ripe tomatoes because of the salad bar option. You order at the register. I stopped by here on my first visit for a sandwich but instead got the unlimited bar. It was great too. I'm glad I found this restaurant as they have some good sandwiches too as I found out. Now I did stop by on a second visit and got the New Orleans Muffaletta. with sweet tea of course. The service was wonderful as the person who Checked me out also waited on me. I didn't think I could eat all of the sandwich but I did. I will return for a third visit and get the Zucchini Grillini. They have all sorts of soups to choose from like tomato basil and French onion just to name a few. Also, several salads are made here. An always reliable deli in the Hamilton Place area. I have never had a bad meal here. Never. To-go order, catering - doesn't matter, it is always very good. As strange as it sounds, though, I had never actually eaten in the restaurant until a few days ago. My husband and I had a few minutes before an appointment and decided to stop in and actually sit down and eat. We both ordered Beefeater sandwiches and went through the line, which was a little confusing because you place your order and get a number and then keep going down the line until you come to a place where there are trays, napkins and silverware. We were trying to get trays and silverware and it was explained to us that the employees would actually bring that out to us when they brought our food. We walked past an amazing looking salad bar as we filled our drinks. It looked so good, that I went back and ordered it, too. The sandwiches were brought quickly and were fresh, filling and delicious. The employees were all friendly and smiling. I witnessed a super sweet interaction between a worker busing the tables and an elderly customer that was just amazing and made you feel good to be there. Also, ice cream is FREE. How awesome is that? This is a great place to eat and I wish there was a location closer to me. read more

We stopped here on our way to the airport. There are not a lot of gluten free or healthy style quick restaurants so this was a nice surprise. The GF bread is not amazing but it's not bad either plus they stuff it with meat so it definitely fills you up. They have a salad bar which is nice so you can make your own salad and free ice cream. I ordered a panini and a salad. Ate my sandwich in the car and the salad on the plane. Both were great. They have a huge menu, clean restrooms and a nice staff. I can't believe it took me this long to post a review! Jason's has been a favorite for years. I have always loved the salad bar. but because of Covid 19. they had to change it. to a list that you check off It is still. so so good my family loves the Carmella sandwich. If you can have carbs. the baked potatoes are really big. and good One of my favorite sandwiches is the smoky Jack Panini and for anyone that is gluten free. they have gluten you can't forget about the wide variety of soup!!! so so good. Jason's Deli has always been a tried and true favorite of ours for many years, going back to our early days in south Texas. However, we stopped by this Jason's Deli about one hour before closing. As with most places desperate for help, this restaurant was understaffed. According to one of the servers, the place had been slammed earlier. Regardless, the place was a mess, and nearly every table had dirty dishes. The food was subpar, and naturally the ice cream machine wasn't working. The slowest service I have ever experienced. I order here regularly due to the "convenience " of it's location to my work. I placed my order well in advance since I have experienced a wait when picking up my lunch in the past. I have always given them the benefit of the doubt but this is my final straw. I ordered my usual lunch and it said it would be ready 4:07.. I didn't arrive until 4:20 and it wasn't even bagged.. the woman at the counter didn't even look up from the computer to make the slightest greeting. Rude. Mind you they were not busy at all. I think all Jason's Delis are very good, and this one supports that notion. It's big, it's clean, and the associates are nice. There are plenty of tables and booths. And the food is just great. The salad bar is crazy, with lots of choices, lots more than most salad bars at any restaurant. And they keep it fresh and groomed. Their sandwiches are the main show, and they offer a wide variety. All fresh. But they also have about 10 soups, and they are not to be overlooked. Try the chili. read more
