Worthy of zero stars. My family was traveling back home from our Spring break trip. We did a quick search for nearby location while driving on rt 95 and the one at Colonial Heights popped up. We placed the order through my app and received confirmation that the order was placed and received and ready, only to arrive and learn that the place was CLOSED- as in SHUTDOWN. The Panera sign has been taken down and looked like it had been not in service for very long time. I'd been on the road for 3.5 hrs and hungry... to add insult to injury I filed a complaint through the customer service, only to never receive a follow up once I provided the details. I just learned through reading the reviews here that there is new location in the shopping area, yet that address was NOT updated in the app. How is it possible to have the same address but be in different parts of the mall? For outsiders like us we didn't know there was another new location.

3 Words: Crowded, Messy, and anxious... The workers don't greet you when you walk in, instead they expect you to use the kiosk to order. The layout is a disaster.. it's incredibly crowded.. not to mention the ambiance that their last location had with their beautiful fireplace is now gone... everyone's just crammed into one giant dining space with no cozy nooks. Upon checking on my order many times... the workers look overwhelmed and incredibly anxious. The drink area is a sticky mess with trash everywhere.. We literally had to ask an employee for a rag to wipe down where we were going to sit at.. no clean tables whatsoever... This is extremely disappointing and this will be the last time we come to this Panera Bread.

Kickin' Grilled Cheese & Creamy Tomato Soup

Might have been faster to pick up order inside at the counter. Waited about 15 mins in the drive thru. Kickin grilled cheese had a hint of spice. The creamy salsa verde was a tasty addition to the basic grilled cheese. But the bread was hardly grilled/toasted. The cheese was not melty. The creamy tomato soup was delicious. Both were on the saltier side. I did not like how the baguette was just randomly tossed in the bag rather than wrapped or in a sleeve. The fresh kitchen sink cookie was the perfectly sweet finish to balance all the saltiness.

Copy of Text saying order is ready

Took my order, took my money, told me my food was ready. Then couldn't give me my food . Because there wasn't any left. I go there often. won't any more.

Onion soup was like brown gravy with onion bits. Inedible. Too much sodium. Barely any cheese and a few crout. Threw it away.

Quite possibly the world's slowest Panera. I've been to this location 3 times and it's always crazy slow. I'm done.

We…read morereally wanted to like this place as its a local restaurant with cute decor and friendly staff, however the food was severely amateur. We ordered goyoza, yum yum noodles, 2 bowls of spicy shoyu with pork belly and garlic cheese fries. Ohhhhh where to begin... The goyoza were from a freezer bag and weren't even good quality. They decided to fry them which made the dough hard (not crispy) and there were about 8 tiny goyoza for $8! The garlic cheese fries were frozen, seasoned, grade school curly fries with cheese whiz on them. The spicy shoyu had soba noodles not Ramen and the noodles were mushy after a couple minutes at the table. This was touted by the waiter as having "more vegetables" than the other soups but that consisted of scallion, frozen corn nibblets, frozen edamame, and kimchee. The pork belly looks like it was purchased cooked and they seared one side. The fat in the pork belly wasn't rendered correctly and the soup was not balanced. In authentic shoyu you get half a soft egg with runny yolk...the egg in this was hard boiled and sliced with an egg slicer. If you're looking for something authentic and tasty- probably skip this restaurant. Our bill was $58 and we left thinking we ate at the mall food court. Please...cooks at Konran...visit Asia or at LEAST some AUTHENTIC Asian restaurants and tweak your menu!

The place is warehouse size HUGE, so i doubt they ever completely pack out. The low country seafood boils are amazing, and very generously portioned. My daughter opted for king crab legs and they were perfect. The seasoning and sauce was lick your plate clean kinda yummy! Me & spouse had the fried catfish, which was amazing. Perfectly fried and seasoned. Clam chowder was new england style. Delicious, but not hot. Just warm. We were so hungry we didnt send back. Got a local IPA on tap. It was warm & stale. Our server was so kind & honest about it. She shared that several people returned their tap beers that day because they were warm, and admitted she didn't know enough about beer to help me so the bartender would come over. Wow! That's outstanding customer service! Apparently the IPAs in bottles were EXPIRED as per the very nice bartender. So I got a Sam Adams instead. Whatever, you're here for the seafood and it is excellent. Just disappointed with a huge bar, you would expect the beer to be ok. Our server, i wish i could remember her name because she was so nice and smiley. Definitely would return here if in area again. This was a pit stop on a roadtrip vacation.

I lived in CH for about 12ish years - some elementary, all of middle and high. My mom still lives here. I must come here every time I visit. No pizza compares to theirs. Just none. Every time I move to a new place and try the local pizza , it just never tastes as good. Same with their philly hosgies. Nothing. Compares. Our December 2025 visit made my tastebuds happy. My husband got the steak Philly hoagie. I got the chicken Philly hoagie. We split so we could enjoy both. I ate both despite not having a stomach. My belly was extremely happy full. My son liked his pizza slice. I of course had to take a bite. My mom (who gets to enjoy Vincenzo's all the time) enjoyed her ravioli. I am hoping to be able to come by once more before going back to Chicago. I'm grateful I grew up with this place and can grow old with this place ;) Love you guys!
