The decor is pretty cool. It's very farmhouse with a dash of HGTV. The service is awesome, very friendly. The prices are average, not too expensive but you can chow down enough to feel overly full and ashamed while you lay in bed watching my 600lb life. I ordered the turkey biscuits and eggs with potatoes. My food..... was great. I ordered poached eggs just to shake things up a bit. It came out really good. The potatoes were large and crispy. The biscuits were big and juicy like a nice booty. I wanted to slap them but I just ate 'em. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and complimented the biscuits. We were greeted immediately and added to a 20 minute wait list. We were called within 15 minutes. Our server came over within 5 minutes of us after we looked at the menu. Drinks and million dollar bacon was ordered in which we thought we would get our bacon before our meal. Needless to say, the bacon came out with our meal. The Tangerine dream tasted as expected. The million dollar bacon was not crispy but was full of flavor. Our omelets were full of bacon, ham, tomatoes, crispy onions, and cold mushrooms. We had to add salt and pepper to our omelets for better tasting. The server assumed I did not want my potatoes, so I asked her for them. Alina was our server and she was not as attentive as I would've liked. We did notice her attentiveness to 3 other tables. The atmosphere is not too noisy and the seating is comfortable. Visiting my sister and BIL we usually end up at this First Watch. This place is ALWAYS packed. Today was no different. Calling ahead we reserved a table for 4. We are always ofdered a booth or table, we choose booth, comfortable for our tall hubby's. We were welcomed with a Good Morning and after just a short wait we were seated. Our waitress chatted about the the drink specials of the day and food offerings. Sis and I ordered our usual Bloody Mary's. Served with just enough ice,spice and Titos. We chomped on the Million dollar bacon first. Our orders were taken appetizers came out first, shortly after our hot entrées. My brisket tacos were full of flavor filled by fresh cut fruit. I love first watch. This location was so busy but we put our name in online or did the "get in line" online thing. It was really nice and then we confirmed we were there and they would text us when our table was ready for us. always a pleasure eating at First Watch. This was my first time at this location. They have a huge parking lot so easy access with parking. I had the Iced coffee and french toast keeping it light. Their french toast is made with love on brioche bread slightly toasted with the perfect crisp. The iced coffee tasted like it had rum in it lol(no i did not get tipsy) I forgot the exact name for it but it had chocolate chunks and chocolate syrup with a caramel twist . Depending on the special items on their menu, depends on how good the food is to me. The staff is always friendly and when they have shrimp and grits on the menu, that's my go to. They were even able to do the shrimp and grits for me without the sausage and without the chicken gravy, which I was very happy about.The drink that I got was the lavender lemonade and it was delicious. The restaurant was nice and clean, always a lot of people but that says how popular this restaurant is and it is a good choice for brunch. The parking is a little difficult though. They juice every day, so the juices are fresh. The food is lovely and fresh also. Highly recommend and this is the third location I've been to. read more

We had to keep flagging down drink refills and we had to borrow the neighbors syrup since we didn't get one. Thankfully it was still warm. I was there September 3, 2024. I was disappointed in the service. I ordered and noticed I did not have any silverware on the table. I ordered a small soda. I didn't realize a small was the same price as any other size and I was not offered a refill. My Eggs Benedict was good but I just looked at the Health Department rating and they just received 94 out of a 100 on their last rating and 2 were critical. I had to ask for extra napkins. The ambiance is very loud because of the poor acoustics. I feel like they could do better for the price. read more

A real winner! If you're ever traveling through Petersburg this is the spot! Although we waited over 40 minutes for a table, the experience was well worth it. We started off with a turmeric carrot orange coconut water smoothie and his bloody Mary top with $1 million bacon slice. I I enjoyed the pumpkin pancake chicken sausage breakfast which was awesome! I am a firm believer that breakfast is definitely one of the four most important meals of the day (my waistline agrees) and this hits the breakfast/brunch checklist on so many levels. The iced coffee is always tasty, the breakfast/brunch fare has always been delightful and they even have standard healthier fare too like egg white and veggie omelets, although I can't tell you how those are since I prefer to splurge on stuff like crab cakes benedict or the gloriousness that is the Chickichanga. (Chicken, chorizo, tortilla, avocado, cheese, onions, chilies, sour cream... It is a little spicy, a little creamy, a little savory, a little sweet... A LOT delicious. The potatoes on the side are awesome too, but I've never met a potato I didn't like.) I really like the rotating seasonal menu because there is always something new on the menu that really ties together with the season, and you know how long you have to try it (or come back to try it again and again). No surprises when you go in and see that it ended last week, it lasts for about a season. The only downside which is sort of a good/bad thing is that this is definitely a brunch vibe place. If you have an hour lunch break, this is pretty much off the table unless you order in advance for pickup and take it to go. If Hubs is watching the kids and you have no other plans than brunch with your best friends, then this place is AWESOME! I have never gone when we didn't spend at least about 1-2 hours here. It is pretty much always full, and because the food is cooked fresh and delicious, it takes time to get to your table. See... Good/Bad thing. I was greeted, seated quickly, and the waitress had a cup of coffee in front of me within less than a minute. Since I was eating for a long distance ride later on; I wasn't looking for anything heavy... though the pancake platters looked extremely tempting! Options abound, even for a one page menu and they have every facet of breakfast covered. This time I opted for avocado toast with two eggs over easy. The food was out quickly, portioned perfectly, and barely needed any seasoning. Just a dash of salt and all went down quickly! The only thing holding this review back from a full five stars would be if they added some even simpler, less expensive options like oatmeal, Meusli, baked goods, etc... quick, cheap, and easy. I'll definitely bookmark this one though for when I'm not in a rush to get somewhere and can really enjoy me of those pancake platters. read more

The potatoes were just ok, but the multigrain toast was really tasty. Husband's eggs were undercooked which is gross. Daughter said my pancakes are better . My mother ordered the market hash which seemed good and the mushrooms were delicious (I tried one) I ordered the salmon Benedict and my eggs were nicely poached and the Hollandaise sauce was good. However, it was odd they didn't serve my potatoes which my dish and said they needed a "bit longer" to cook. They brought them out a few minutes later and they were still half raw and I had my mother try one to confirm. They brought out new potatoes promptly when I fold them. Just this time they brought out jelly instead of ketchup. Luckily I had kept my ketchup from the first batch. Overall I've liked my experiences at First Watch restaurants. I've reviewed each one three stars or better and typically a four. This was my first visit at this newer location in Chesterfield which has a Richmond address. I called ahead to check on hours and knew it would be tight on my arrival prior to a 230 close. The female staff was friendly and asked if possible to arrive 10 minutes before close. The restaurant is located in a newer strip with Starbucks and others. Signage is good, but better if coming the opposite direction of our travel. Surface parking was brand new and no debris in sight. The walk up was tidy as well. My son and I entered around 2:15 and staff immediately seated us. The hostess was our waitress. She had a full set of menus. Approximately four other tables were finishing brunch. We ended up being the last guest of the day. The dining area was clean and all tables not in use cleared and reset. Our waitress brought us out waters quickly and gave us time to review the menu. My son just came from a swim meet and was looking large! They have a really solid menu that encompasses breakfast and lunch, however I always gravitate to breakfast and my son same. I ordered the original waffle with side of millionaire bacon which is an all time favorite. The waffle came out warm with tons of powder sugar and a small cup of strawberry capote. A great meal. My son order a scrambled egg combo with home fries and sourdough bread. Also a single chocolate chip pancake. He enjoyed everything but the eggs which were cold. With it now being after 230 and the kitchen closing we did not alert the waitress. Service was friendly and strong. This location is an option for return in March when in the area. read more

A little pricy but delicious. I got the pesto chicken quinoa bowl and listennnnn!!! Absolutely delicious... so good that i just texted my friend to see if we are having this for lunch tomorrow. I have seen that they are alway busy when I drive by and because this is just a lunch break, i ordered online. It said it would be ready at 1:16 and it wasn't... which is okay... but at 1:25 and i was still waiting, that was a bummer... but it came out a little after that. The front door situation could be better. There are tables there so when there is a line of people waiting to pay and then others trying to get in... it was not good... I also got fried potatoes just to try them but... some were a little undercooked and very salty... but it doesn't take away from my 5 stars... that purple haze drink and my bowl were soooo good! read more

First Watch Ironbridge is off to a great start & they'll likely get your day off to a great start too! This is the second location of First Watch we've been to and this one is closer to home & new. My one & only complaint is the tight entry/exit. Everything else,... perfection. We "got in line" on the way there via the app. Once there we were greeted and promptly seated. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming and tasteful. Our server pointed out the specials (& the fact that this location serves alcohol). Her detailed description of the Bloody Mary almost got me, but we had other business to attend to after breakfast. Of the specials I had the Carnitas Burrito & my Wife and I split Holey Donuts. I love it when food comes out so hot I have to wait for it to cool down. Presentation was second only to taste (& since the Burrito was so hot I got to enjoy it's presentation while getting into the doughnuts). The location has easy parking and was super clean. We sat with no issues and service was quick and friendly. The honey carmel crunch iced coffee was delicious but sweet. My friend enjoyed his million dollar harvest hash which looked to be high quality fresh ingredients. Unfortunately my barbacoa quesadilla benedict was not the same quality. It reminded me of microwaved tacos. I don't know if this was off-brand for them and I would be willing to try again but I would stay clear of the barbacoa. read more
