New WIFI policy during lunch hours not Executive-friendly. We are two professionals who spend $50+ dollars for lunch and then check our work email through their WIFI. However, after 30 minutes were blocked off and could not get back on the wifi. Their store manger, told us it was a new Panera Bread nationwide policy, so you will not be seeing us at any Panera bread in the future. read more

Of all the Panera locations in the area, this one is by far the worst. I had been to this one once before and vowed not to go again as I waited 20 minutes for soup when I was the only one in line only to get into an argument afterwards with the person who gave me my food when I stated I ordered a bread bowl and they insisted I didn't and I showed them where on the receipt it even showed the bread bowl order.....boo! I was forced to endure this location though, against my will another time when my sister drove up to this location. Our orders were placed easy enough and with my sisters many allergies the girl who took our order made sure to make proper note and it seemed all situated. I stood back and watched as employees chatted, hugged, threw things at each other and as expected, with only 1 other person ahead of us, it still took 10 minutes for 2 salads and 1 cold sandwich to come out (now I don't expect McDonalds 30 seconds or less, but it does not take nearly this long at any other Panera location with so few people waiting in line; I also could care less what employees in an establishment are doing after they've served their customers cause hey you need to relax when you can, but if you have work to do, you shouldn't be making it obvious to your customers that you are doing anything but your job), We get out food and my sister has not only the wrong dressing but it contains one of the ingredients she ask to be held due to allergy - so she asked for it to be remade, and it still came out with the wrong dressing and still bits of an ingredient she was allergic to - so she scooped around and hoped for the best. My own sandwich was very sloppily put together - the meat all put in one spot, dressing glopped in one spot, lettuce all over the place, and just all around the sandwich looked like it was falling apart already and it was just sitting on the plate. Needless to say, my sister now understands why I already made my vow not to dine at this location and will go out of my way to travel to any other Panera location even if this is the one I am closest to at any time. read more

I've never had a bad experience at Panera until I went to this location. I ordered Mac n cheese and an Italian combo sandwhich. I took a bite of the sandwhich and the bread was extremely hard, and stale . It was made up of 2 pieces of salami and a piece of lettuce. I went up to the counter thinking they had given me the wrong sandwhich. Turns out they changed the Italian combo to just that. The employee at the counter told me to "at least try it." I left the counter upset and sat back down to eat the rest of my meal. I took a bite of my Mac n cheese and it had ICE CHIPS in it. No more Panera for me read more

Panera has become too big to ensure quality over quantity. They rush orders out to keep up and unfortunately the quality of the meal is suffering. My mother got soup and a salad, I got a soup and sandwich. The bill came to $32. That's bad enough on its own. I can go out to a nice dinner for that price. I probably wouldn't even mind paying that much if the I was completely satisfied. Unfortunately when they delivered my sandwich, it was clearly made with the ends of the loaf of bread, as it was half the size as it normally is. Immediately when the guy put it down in front of me, I said "uh, did I get the end of the loaf?" To which he replied "well, that's normally a small loaf of bread" and walked away. No. Not it's not. I've been getting this sandwich for years. He was just too lazy to take it back and give me a new one and just generally doesn't care about the customer. I'm sorry, but for what the customers pay, a little more attention and care should be paid in the kitchen to ensure the customer isn't getting ripped off. This was my first visit to this location. The staff was not at all friendly. They were quite annoyed to wait on us for breakfast. Like other Panera's locally, this restaurant was quite dirty. I'm amazed that this chain has gone down hill locally. I opened a Yelp account just so I could post a review of this Panera branch. The food was good, the restaurant was clean but at 9pm on a weeknight there was no music playing so almost all conversations could be heard, but none louder and more obnoxious than those of the restaurant staff. They were loud, banging objects on the counters and joking amongst themselves without regard for their customers. Their manager didn't seem to care, and may have been part of their "fun ". Stopped here to grab a bite to eat before class. Was given the wrong sandwich and upon returning it to the counter I was greeted by a young man with a runny nose. Once I got the correct sandwich (blt plus chicken and avocado) I picked it apart and barely ate it. One slice of barely cooked bacon, processed chicken and a sliver of avocado. I order take out sometimes. It is not frequent because they always fail me. I haven't been there is months but needed something quick today so went through the drive through. As always, they screwed up my order. Absolutely every time I order at the drive through, they screw up my order. I ordered Greek Lemon Chicken soup and got Cream of chicken and wild rice. By the time I find the error, I am back in my office. I don't know why I keep giving them the opportunity to improve. read more

With all the places on Wolf Rd. you would think Panera could try a little harder to impress. Ordered half a turkey sandwich on multigrain with mustard, got whole wheat with a ton of mayo. I stopped working there because customers treat the employees as if they are at a McDonald's. I was also put on as a busser most days when I applied to be a cashier. Anyway the paycheck I got after working there was ripped up quite a bit with some scribbles on it. Very immature and unprofessional of whichever manager sent this out! Terrible experience. Horrible. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad and a peach and blueberry smoothie. How hard would it be to mess that up? The smoothie is something i get often, when i received it, it looked absolutely revolting. Tasted the same way too. My salad had no dressing and had none on the side. The so called "chicken" on top looked disgusting. Shredded "chicken" that was dry and reminded me of a cheap chicken salad. It tasted as the ham you would get in a kids lunchable. Sad. After reading the reviews I see I am not alone with my experience. Stopped in with my young daughter and should have trusted my instincts to turn around immediately. Get up to the counter and when I look to the kitchen, all I can notice is how much food and trash is on the floor with the employees standing in it. Every single table was dirty, small bits of food and trash all over the place. Order our food (no bread, they ran out, at a bread store) and the Mac N Cheese came out with an almost soup skin coating but at least it was hot. Bowl was dirty with spot of dried food and panini was slopped with way too much sauce. Look back to the kitchen area from my seat there is a girl eating in plain view while preparing orders. My daughter had to go the bathroom and it was such a bio hazard in the men's room I just held her up over the toilet. This place lacks management, cleanliness and should seriously be investigated by the state health department. I will never step foot in this Panera again. Instead of remodeling they need to close it down which I am assuming it will be once people never go back. read more

I usedcome to this Panera quite often. A lot less lately though. I usually try and get breakfast there but the staff works sooo slow; and normally there's this one girl with glasses that's always kind of rude and snippy. This morning I went for a bagel and an iced coffee. I ended up leaving without any of it because they never came to the window for at least my money after 5 minutes. I only ordered a bagel and an iced coffee! & that one same girl was by the drive through window talking to someone and doing something totally different than getting my food. I've been at this place 5 times and 3 out of that 5 they got my order wrong. First time I ordered soup in a bread bowl but they brought me a bowl, when I asked for bread bowl 2 different people came up to me and asked whether I paid for it or not, it was so humiliating and they didn't even apologize. Next time I ordered online instead of caramel late they just brought me a regular coffee, I should mention though they delivered the correct one soon after I called them but still it was annoying and the 3rd and last time I ordered Italian sandwich and salad and when I got home and checked the bag there was only salad inside. I didn't have car at the time so I had to walk back there at the cold winter of Albany which we all are familiar with and get my sandwich. I asked them on the phone if they can deliver it and they said no. After that I never ordered food there, now I only get a cup of coffee or tea from them in the morning since it's really close to my house. read more

We had a meal at 5:30 on a Saturday evening Labor Day weekend. There were very few customers there. Perhaps it was just an "off" night. The three staff people we interacted with were pleasant and accommodating. However the food was marginal at best. I had the "Bacon Turkey Bravo" sandwich, and my wife had the "Turkey Avocado BLT" Panini. The tomato slices were microscopically thin, as were the two tiny microwaved bacon pieces. The "lettuce" on both sandwiches consisted of one or two very small leaves. The turkey was acceptable, as was the bread. The so-called special sauce was barely noticeable. The place was filthy. I had to ask a staff person to wipe our table clean. The floor in the dining area was littered with bits of food and paper. A waste basket in the kitchen area was overflowing with paper trash to the point that some of it was on the floor. We were there for about 40 minutes and no staff person did anything to clean up the mess. Management is either uncaring, incompetent, or both. A very disappointing dining experience. read more
