DiBella's Subs is a go to lunch place every time I find myself in the Albany area. Good and hearty subs with delicious "everything" bread. Service is generally quick and with a smile, but the ordering process can be a little confusing to a first timer. Plenty of seating in this location but it didn't seem like anyone was wiping down the tables during a busy lunch rush. Can't wait to have another sub soon!

I have no reason not to give 5 stars. Service was great, even tho they were very busy. The Dagwood was fantastic. The 7 inch weighed a ton and was very flavorful packed full with different seasoned meat and sauce. The everything bun was good and fresh. Great place.

Dibellas has almost become a ritual every other week. Went with the steak and cheese only to wish I had gone with the Godfather. Both really hit the spot at lunchtime.

Food is inconsistent. Bread is sometimes good and other times, like today, hard and tasteless.

This place is a ripoff. The subs look nothing like the photos. There is hardly anything in them, all bread. Very poor quality.

I called, place the order, and I can tell it was taken by an Italian gentleman. He called back about 25 minutes later and said he was leaving. About two minutes later I see a FIAT entering the Hotel entrance and an Italian gentleman steps out, hands me my food, while wearing his cooking apron, with flower on him. Holy WOW is all I can say! Hands-down the best tomato sauce I've ever had. I order the egg plant and that was off the chain. If you live in Albany, I'm jealous, I would be here every day. If you're traveling through, I highly recommend it. Love you guys, and I'll be back.

First off I'm not sure what food people in these reviews are eating, because in my experience the Italian mix sub was very bland, the bread was dry, and the meat looked pale and weird. That ambience of the place was nostalgic which is the reason why I gave it 3 stars and not 2. The woman helping me was friendly enough but made it a point to tell me how gas prices were fine at $4.10 per gallon as long as Trump was the president, which annoyed me because it gives an indication that details don't matter here. Given the taste of the $15 small sub I paid for it definitely tracks. Be your own critic, but for me it's the history of this place and not the food has people coming back. I won't be one of them.

This fast service hoagie shop serves a good selection of signature cold & hot hoagies on sesame seeded or non-seeded bread, side deli salads, chips, cookies, dirt pudding, and Pepsi products. They also offer a $15.99 Combo (in May 2025) meal deal with a primo size hoagie, chips and drink and sell deli meats & cheeses by the pound. The pricing is moderate and similar to what other sub shop chains in the area charge. This location is cozy which is order at the counter and there is inside seating. After hearing about Primo Hoagies opening up in Albany, I decided to go on the Primo Hoagies app and placed my order for a customized primo size Abruzzi ($13.59 plus tax) with additional free toppings. I drove about 2 miles to Primo Hoagies and my sandwich was ready and bagged when I arrived. The Abruzzi hoagie (12" size) served cold, had plenty of deli sliced roasted pork with provolone cheese, broccoli rabe, oregano, oil, black pepper, adding shredded lettuce, tomatoes, hot banana peppers, red onions, & pickles in a very firm & very chewy sesame seeded hoagie roll. Other than the tough thick bread roll, the sandwich was pretty tasty. I would definitely stop by here again to try out other hoagies like the Chicken Parmigiana, Italian Tuna, and Philly Cheesesteak.

(Certainly a lucky neighborhood) It looks small from the street but once you walk in, it opens up to a sizable store. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, he took the time to describe their cheese selection and the other things going on in the shop. He then pivoted to giving us tons of help selecting the right cheese. We sampled a couple of things and then he dialed in three choices for us to buy. (With an assist from another customer that insisted that we would love the Delice de Bourgogne) Prices were reasonable enough for the quality. We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch. The Delice de Bourgogne was the star of the show, a creamy, earthy, and savory masterpiece. The two year aged Gouda and creamy blue cheese were delightful as well! To explain, I ordered a double cheeseburger with cheese fries and it was delicious. To breakdown, the cheeseburger was excellent. The meat was juicy and tender with top tier flavor. Likewise, the sauce on the burger was sweet and tangy which elevated the flavor. Similarly, the potato bun was fresh and tasty, but the bottom of it was a bit soggy. It was simply a great burger. In similar fashion, the cheese fries were pretty good. To make clear, the fries were hot, crispy, and flavorful. Furthermore, the cheese was great and really made these fries special. I'm gluten-free, so I choose not to have the potato bun, which is a bummer because it looked amazing. My only gripe is the upcharge for a gluten-free bun. I completely understand paying a bit more for specialty products, but a $3 add-on felt a little steep. It actually kept me from ordering my own burger this time, so I just snagged a bite of my partner's (which was excellent). **I have had the gluten free option before and it was good, but udi's isn't my favorite (doesn't have very clean ingredients).
