I ordered a Tomato Basil BLT...as you can see by the picture, the worst sandwich made...missing the Lettuce, for one. Bread wasn't toasted, but I guess I did not request it to be, so I just got soggy bread instead. Another co-worker ordered soup and Chipotle Chicken Sandwich...missing the condiments on the sandwich...only a Chicken and Cheese she got and her soup was cold. We are only a few miles away and was on time for the pick up. When I called, I told her the situation. She looked up the order and I was told that "she verified with the manager and the sandwich maker that all sandwiches were prepared correctly and no refund for the items would be approved at this time". Of course they will say all was prepared correctly. Such bad customer service. I was only asking for a refund of the items that were incorrect, nothing more. Stay away from this location! Chicken noodle soup had several small chunks of chicken underneath the greasy broth and no noodles to be found, also Luke warm. Placed a contactless dine in order. 20 minutes to make a salad, and they send you back to the front counter for the drink cup after waiting. When your lettuce turns pink and brown you should probably throw it out not try to sell it. I would have brought it back up but 1) there is NO way the girl didn't notice and 2) she was beyond annoyed when I pointed out the cheese in my daughters soup (even though the ticket said no cheese). This is my first time eating from this location. I ordered online and scheduled pick up at 12 pm. I decided to try the Southwest Chile Lime Ranch Salad with chicken. I also ordered extra chicken and two extra sides of the dressing because all Panera's are stingy on the dressing. I arrived at 12:10 and my order was already waiting in the pick up section. The salad was large. It had a good amount of chicken. They gave me three dressings, it was just enough for my dressing expectations. I like my salad to be completely coated, but not dripping. The avocados were heavily coated in tiny black spots. I chose this salad because I was craving some avocado and chicken. I was so disappointed when I saw the two mangled, black slices of avocado. Especially since the picture of the salad on the website shows numerous slices of fresh avocado. Very misleading. The piece of bread was floating around lose inside the bag. It was tossed in after the salad and it was sliding around in the bag, along with the plastic wear and napkins. Every other Panera I've ordered from puts the bread inside a small bag so it is protected from mingling with everything else in the bag. That really grossed me out. The bread ended up being too stale for me to bite anyway, so I didn't eat it. The outside of the box that my salad was packaged in was greasy and covered in some sort of food, it was caked all along the the bottom of the box, it got all over my hands when I pulled the container out of the bag. Another thing that bothers me (and maybe I'm just weird, but I'm sure I'm not alone) is that they put all three of the containers of salad dressing inside my salad, buried pretty deep. I could just see the tops of the lids. When I pulled them out, they were COVERED in slippery gunk. I have been trying to eat healthier and thought what better place than Panera, where I can order a salad in advance online and pick up at lunch time, even if I'm in a rush? I went to Panera Bread for a meal around 7 pm. The customer service was AWFUL! it took waiting in line 15 minutes before I even placed my order. I mention this because there were two other young ladies peering over the shoulder of the one person that was actually working taking order. Once I place my order cashier Aarionna was very nice and helpful. Spicy CHX sandwich and Spicy Thai CHX soup total of $21.37 MAN FOR ONE PERSON! It took another 15 minutes to get my food. The prep station was a mess, the food prep team did their own thing, while the supervisor/manager appeared to no have a good grip of what was going on. Honestly I love Panera. Or I thought I loved Panera for lunch or a quick pick me up snack or pastry. This Panera is so below others. The food had no taste to it. I ordered my usual tuna sandwich with tomato soup. The soup was room temperature and the sandwich bread seemed not so fresh. I could barely finish half of everything. I wish I was eating something else while eating it. I regretted ordering the chocolate croissant as well, it was extremely dry with barely any chocolate within. Lastly, if you must eat here, don't sit and eat. Most tables are dirty, pick up might be the way to go. They are busy or understaffed, because almost every table is dirty at lunch time. Panera is easy and quick and the soup bowls are delicious. I love bread so its simple for me to order one of the bread bowls. Today I chose the baked potato soup bread bowl. I got my order to go because I was coming from visiting my dad and had to stop at the grocery store and Panera is located right next to publix on hillsboro blvd and powerline road. I was behind 2 other customers and the ordering and wait time took less than 15 minutes. Thats quick! They pack the soup in a container and wrap the bread bowl separately for quick assembly at home. I did heat up my soup a minute in the micro when I got home and now I am enjoying a delicious bowl of baked potato soup bread bowl. This is the third time I go to this particular Panera. The first time it was okay, the second time, they didn't get my order right and the other order was missing ingredients. I usually don't review until the third or fourth time.. today if the day. I went in and ordered 2 Chicken Cobb Salads with Avocado, no gorgonzola. It took about 10 to 15 minutes. When I got my the salads, I decided to check them in case they were missing anything(because if the last experience at this place). Everything looked fine but then realized that the avocados were 50 to 60% black and spotty. I let the girl at the prep station know and one of women from the back told her she can't serve them if they're not good, they should be thrown out. The girl responded that they were all like that... I could tell she'd had a tough day already and I've been in that position, but if you're working for Panera or anyone, you're representing that company and you make them look bad when you don't do your job right. I asked a girl cleaning the dining room and she said someone would be there shortly. The girl at the counter finished and went on to the next customer. I came over to have a late lunch after a medical test. I had to fast from midnight until 3 pm the next day so needless to say I was starving. I picked Panera because I love their menu. I am always looking to pick a healthy option whenever I can and Panera has a menu filled with them. I usually get soup and a half sandwich or a salad and a half sandwich. On this trip I picked the strawberry poppy seed with chicken salad and chose the Chinese citrus cashew with chicken salad to go for my hubby who is trying to watch his blood sugar by cutting carbohydrates. I really appreciate that Panera serves antibiotic free chicken. My salad was brought promptly to my table by the loveliest lady. I wish I had gotten her name because she was such a ray of sunshine. I was kind of down because it was my birthday and I spent the whole day getting medical testing. Not to mention the not eating all day part. When she brought my salad she was so sweet that she cheered me right up. My salad was delicious too. It was huge and filled with sweet strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries and lean chicken. Some places have kind of funky tasting chicken in their salads (ahem Wendy's) but not Panera. My salad was perfect. I would eat one every day for lunch if I could. Just one of the worst operated Panera locations in Broward and happens to be the closest to my house. I'm willing to drive an extra 10 min to Coconut Creek than go to this one because bottom line is this. They do not prioritize the pickup customers which to me is the easiest customer. First off they never meet their SLA. If it says ready in 10 min it's always 15. And the worst part is the flow. I can have a pickup order for just a cookie which typically is pre made they just need to pick it. But it's multiple times where I come in and it's not ready at the time they say it is. But now I'm standing near the pickup section and they have a queue of people trying to place their order. They always take the people who need to see the cashier first which to me is wrong because I already placed my order 10-15 min ago and you now prioritize 7 people because they are in the cashier line? None of the other locations have this problem, I walk in they ask if I have a pickup and take care of me before the next cashier customer assuming they have my stuff. I don't understand why this location deviates from the normal Panera flow. But this is the last time I will go here cuz it's happened to me several times whereas I've gone to literally everyone location in the tri county area and this doesn't happen.
