It's a Panera. It's not the best one out there. Usually tables are dirty and require a bit of cleaning. It is rarely crowded. Things that stick out to me here: -They are often out of tea. -Their bread is usually under-baked a bit, at least the bagels usually. Or, one time, really burnt. Very strange, as usually Panera is fairly consistent across restaurants. -Their broccoli cheddar is always a bit watery? Again, weird. Staff is nice. They let you be. They don't go above and beyond or anything, but they do keep to themselves and are never rude. Overall, it's OK if you need to grab a quick bite, but I'd rather just run into Publix next door for a better sandwich. read more

Food here is good. Ordered ham and cheese with lettuce, tomato and onions but no mayo. My husband had the same. Supposed to come on stone ground rye. It came on wheat. No big deal but we wanted it on rye. I brought it to their attention. She said they no longer have rye. I said, we should have been told and to let us chose an alternative bread. They let me have it on a bagel at no extra charge. It came to the table. Sandwich looked fine but after the first bite, I knew something was wrong. I opened up the sandwich. It was bathed in mayo. I hate mayo on meat sandwiches. By this time, I was starving. What should have taken about five minutes took close to twenty minutes before they rectified the order for third time. For a company as good as this, this is unexcusible. Since they have done away with the stone ground rye and no longer have decent bread choices, I may have to seek out other similar dining venues. However, I will give them another chance as I do like their bagels, pastries and coffee. By the way, the sandwiches on a bagel were high quality. Went for breakfast last week and they truly need to train their staff on customer service skills. I ordered the spinach & artichoke soufflé, no gloves on staff member, took payment, walked away so never gave me my receipt, flagged another girl down and she was busy texting on her phone, so no thank you. Went to get drink all the way in the back and noticed there was no straw, asked young man for one and he told me that I have to go back to front and get one, really, how about that customer service. This location is great to stop at after a visit to Quiet Waters park. The boyfriend was feeling under the weather and we both instantly agreed that Panera Bread would be perfect for lunch. We got bread bowls with Chicken Noodle and Chicken and Wild Rice. I also got the pick 2 so I got a sandwich as well. I got the turkey, avacado sandwich and it was delicious. I enjoyed the Mediterranean sandwich the first time I was here. I came back and got it three more times was disappointed all three times. It was different every time! High school staff is rude and lazy. The first time I came in, I told the cashier it was my first time and she just stared at me instead of explaining the menu like I was hoping. I got the rewards card and tried to use it on several occasions. I kept being told I bed to register online but not once did they say if I kept my receipt, I could get my points retroactively. The first time I came here, the service was AWFUL. They forgot to make my smoothie and got my order wrong TWICE. The staff was extremely rude & inattentive and I was very upset. I complained on the website listed online and on the website listed on the receipt. The manager called me and apologized for the bad service, and told me to come in any time for free service. Two weeks later, I went back to this Panera. I was treated to some free food and the service was much, much better. I came back again a week later, and the service was still good. This place needs to get its act together. I don't write a bad review until I have had 3 bad experiences. My average order is $30-$70 and I'm going to bring my business elsewhere. The staff got our order wrong, never brought drinks, never brought utensils, and when I went to get assistance the managers just looked and laughed. It wasn't until I called corporate on speaker to complain that they came over, realized I complained and said oh well and walked away. Not all Paneras a bad, I will have to find a new one. Ok I think this is not a problem only in this Panera Bread. It is almost any Panera Bread that I have tried they are the same way. First of all, their sandwich sizes are never the same, it's sometime very small, very sloppy, ingredients are falling out and no consistency. Their soups are ok, but the cup or bowel is never filled up for the price we pay. And the new Soba broth bowl, oh Gosh , they need to remove it from their menu. For 8 dollars and change there is little broth which is tasteless , the noodle is wheat pasta noodle, and the chicken is the same one they use for sandwiches or salads. They should just stick to soup and sandwiches. I just go there because it's convenient , and I'm a student who lives across the street from them and has no time to cook . So I'm kinda gave no other choice. Overall, all of their locatins need more consistency on their food portions and size. read more

For the past couple of months the customer service and the quality of food had change a lot. On my last six visits the utensils had been dirty and when they change them the employees will give you an attitude. Today at my lunch they serve me on a dirty plate meaning it had residue of the previous food, so I went nicely and told one of the guys at the serving area to please exchange the plate. Did you know that Panera Bread has a 0 calorie menu? That's because when you place an order at the counter, pay for it, place your numeric disc on the table, but you don't get anything at all. No food, no explanation, nothing. So when you inquire as to what happened to your shrimp salad? The response? We have some shrimp around here, but it's frozen and we ran out of noodles. Shift/line manager Rich Eilers - felt that ignoring the customer might make them go away, but they didn't. If I could give this review a 0 I would. I placed an order for a meeting we were having today. The order was delivered minus the pickles which is not the end of the world; but one of the attendees at the meeting went to open a wrapped sandwich and it had a bug bite taken out if it and was completely wrapped. I called the store and spoke to Crystal who had a bit of an attitude with me when she knew I had called to complain, not good customer service for sure. The icing on the cake was when she more or less called me a liar when she replied "our cameras don't show anyone taking a bite of your sandwich". Never thought a Panera Bread could get less then 4 stars. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's new (especially the staff) and plenty of room for growth. Now with that being said my review hopefully wont be valid in 6 months or less. First off the location is great and it's a huge Panera Bread. (Sorry to see Quiznos shut down.) Anyways my gf & I went in the other day and placed our order. I asked the young girl helping us if my sandwich had certain condiments, and she actually had to flip through a cheat-sheet booklet!!! (how cute) No big deal, i'm kool with her making sure the order is correct.... Unfortunately it wasnt even though she had cliff-notes. There were a few younger guys making the food where you pick up your order and they were just yapping having a good time. Which is kool with me as well, but we received our soups borderline cold. Just boggles my mind how you serve soup cold, I would think that's hard to do. My friend and I stopped for dinner here at about 6:15. My friend is a diabetic and we had a medical equipment mal function of her insulin pump. I asked the girl at the desk if they had a screwdriver, a knife and also needed them to break a quarter so we could have a nickel to open up the equipment and try new batteries. The cashier at the register said she would need her manager. When her manager came over I expressed that this was an emergency and she said well these girls can't just open the register for anyone. The manager Mel handed me a plastic knife and I said it will have to be metal. She walked away and threw with force that plastic knives into the garbage. When she came back I told her that her behavior embarrassed me for her. She told me she was stressed when i told her about her reaction. It is unfortunate that someone with such poor leadership skills is leading a group of employees that represent a company that I have normally had great service at. We have resolved the Emergency situation that could have been so much more serious. I would like to hear this has been addressed with Mel so no one else has to be treated this was and so that your employees don't have to witness this behavior from their "leader". read more

Ordered a grill cheese sandwich and a cup of tomato soup. $16, yes that's right $16 for 2 slices of bread, a dab of cheese and a cup of weak lukewarm soup. Look I'm all for capitalism and understand business need to make a profit but I could have walked next door to Publix and got a loaf of bread, package of cheese and half a dozen cans of soup for the same price. Disappointed today when I came Panera for lunch. I was hoping they had changed their table service policy. They have not. There is no table service since their December policy change. So if you are alone, you can't put your things down at a table or get your coffee because you have to be waiting on the food. I LOVE Panera! I'm from the suburbs of Philadelphia and eat at my local Panera at least once a week! I was so excited to see a new one open up at the Deerfield Mall while visiting and sad to say, couldn't be more disappointed! The service was TERRIBLE! The staff all moved very slowly and I had to wait close to 15mins for a simple 1/2soup + 1/2 sandwich take out order. My take out soup was luke warm, and when I pulled my sandwich out of the bag, my 4year old child could have wrapped the sandwich nicer!! I could understand if they were busy, but it was dead! The staff at my Panera at home could run circles around this one. If they want to last in such a busy, money making shopping center they need to change management or step it up! read more
