We ordered through the drive through, once we got to the window, the serve gave us the check and handed us a bag of food that was small for the amount we ordered. We questioned if this was all we ordered, and she confirmed, so we started to drive off. Once I opened the bag, I confirmed that it was not what we ordered, so we went back to the window to ask about our food. The server gave us a lot of attitude saying, "You already got your food, why are you here?" We clarified that the food we received was not what we ordered, when she proceeded to continue berating us accusing us of not having ordered (even though we had paid for the food before she handed us the bag). After saying we ordered through drive through she went inside and handed our back without an apology. She was very curt and rude for someone who made the mistake. read more

Bagel Tuesday at Panera ROCKS! I recently discovered that Panera Bread has a special price on their Baker's Dozen of Bagels on Tuesdays. Bagels are usually $1.69 each and a Baker's Dozen is priced at $13.19 which is a fair price already, but on Tuesdays it's only $7.49 for a Baker's Dozen! I first came to love bagels when I tried a Cinnamon Crunch bagel from a box of bagels my brother brought to my parent's house several years ago. I did not even think I liked bagels until I tasted that delicious Cinnamon Crunch one. When this Panera first opened at Rayzer Ranch, that was the only item I ever came in to purchase, though over the years I tried several other bagels and most of their bakery treats. I don't know how I never learned of the Tuesday Bagel special until a few months ago, but I am in here EVERY Tuesday now for a dozen bagels and sometimes 2. I always order their Cinnamon Crunch, Sesame Seed and Asiago Cheese versions and sometimes the Everything bagel, Chocolate Chip and Blueberry. I love their Honey Walnut Cream Cheese and the Chive and Onion Cream Cheese. Panera will slice your bagels too, just ask. This Panera has good customer service, too. One morning when I arrived to find they only had 2 Cinnamon Crunch bagels left, I was complaining to my sister and a manager (I think his name was Will) helpfully explained to me that I can pre-order the Tuesday Bagel special the day before and always be assured of getting what I want. read more

I went through the drive through about 3 times yesterday, around 5-6 pm if that helps, and each time was a sweet voice welcoming me at the menu. She offered so many things to make my trip easier for me. She made me feel cared about when I coughed and she asked me if I'd like a water. I felt like such a bother to come in so many times, but she was so nice to me, it really made my day. I've been having such a horrible week, we really need more people like her to take orders instead of those rude people over at wendy's. I am getting up there in age, I don't remember her name, either Taylor or Talia... Everytime i looked at her she had a bright smile on her face! My compliments to the cooks and staff working today! The Chicken Frontega and Chipotle chicken avocado sandwichs are on point. Bread toasted to perfection, and everything inside delicious and seasoned extremely well. The Chicken with Wild Rice soup was also delicious, the carrots just melted when eaten and the consistency wasn't watered down. The taste and quality is something I would expect coming from an upscale restaurant, not a fast food place. I am impressed! read more

I have not been to a Panera Bread in years. My husband asked me where I wanted to go and agreed to take me to this location. Never was I more disappointed in the food. We ordered a salad and both had wilted lettuce. Our sandwiches we not any better. He had the turkey bacon and it was served cold. Not sure if they toast the sandwiches, but this could have improved the flavor had it been an option. Mine was chicken salad and was a small portion on mostly bread. Panera is Panera, so no quibble with the food or how quick it came out. However. Supervisor. No help. Person taking the order was nice. Manager or supervisor watched while she was having trouble with a customer's card. I stood there, no acknowledgment that it might be a minute. There was no coffee. All three coffees were out. A normal supervisor might have noticed this, or at least a worker or someone. So told three minutes. Was quite a bit more than three. Very very annoying since I was trying to get food to go. This was our first time eating here, but it wasn't the first time we tried. We've had several drive thru visits where they were out of everything we attempted to order. On each of those visits, it got to the point where it's annoying and you want to ask if they have anything at all and why pay $8 for a sandwich that wasn't even in your top 3 choices? So on those days, we ended up eating elsewhere. There was also one time that we went inside and it smelled really awful. I don't know what it was exactly, maybe a cleaner or a HVAC problem, but it was nauseating and we had to turn around and leave. Due to our last visit, my husband did NOT want to go inside. However, we had just had some blood work done across the street and this was one of three places open. The Chic Fil A had a line wrapping around the building and I was getting hangry, so we hesitantly stepped inside. It smelled fine- whew, so relieved! Having never actually eaten here, we weren't really familiar with their menu. After we ordered, I grabbed one of their to go menus, so I could be more prepared in the future. If you are familiar with their system, they apparently have options for ordering at tablets in a fast lane as well as online ordering to your table or for a pick up from little cubby holes. My husband went with a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich for $4.49. I went with a toasted bagel and their honey walnut spread for $2.49. I ordered a caffe mocha which was $4.09. I also decided that I needed some protein, so I got a side of steak, which isn't really on their menu as an option, but Brittani was very helpful in getting me the order I needed. She very kindly answered my questions and made suggestions for me. We were given a buzzer and went to get my husband a drink and find a place to sit. I saw some very colorful teas and lemonades by the drink fountain, which were a nice option. They also have a variety of coffee roasts. The seating was plentiful and varied with some leather chairs, booths of varying sizes and tables that could fit at least a dozen people- so yes, good for groups, Yelp. The food and my mocha came out at a reasonable time. My husband's panini looked fairly anemic and was a smaller size than expected. For the price we expected a larger, heartier sandwich. A side may have helped, but we didn't know it didn't come with one and my husband wasn't warned or asked if he wanted one. My bagel had a nice toast on it, but was really chewy, I had to tear at it with my teeth, more work than I was expecting. The spread was tasty and an interesting flavor combination, I just don't think I care for the way they make their bagels enough to order it again. They are baked in house, but there were a lot of holes and they were on the thin side. I love bagels, but I guess I'm picky about them, so this may or may not appeal to you. The steak tasted fine and was sliced thinly. Now knowing that, I would consider ordering a steak sandwich in the future. Both my bagel and side of steak were really cheap. The mocha was woefully overpriced and I'm glad I got it in a to go cup so I didn't waste any of the $4.09. We were confused that some items were so overpriced, while others were very, very cheap. This makes it difficult to determine value off a first visit. The atmosphere was interesting, the selection was fairly varied, the service was good and the food was okay. Overall, from a first visit it was 3 1/2 stars. When deciding whether to round up or down, I have to consider the fact that my husband was still hungry when we left and we had to spend money on food somewhere else. Also, I have to consider that this was the first time actually eating here because they seem to run out of a lot of item on a semi regular basis. That brings the value down for me, so at this time I have to go with 3 stars. We will consider eating here again to try some other options, like lunch, we aren't against trying other items, we just aren't in a hurry to return and likely won't go out of our way to do so. read more

I love this business! However, they are terrible at delivery. The driver I had took an hour to get to me and I didn't even get my drink! So I just go inside when I want something. They are so kind and welcoming. The food is great too. Their bakery section is the best though. My favorite sweet there is definitely their chocolate chip muffie. It is so popular at my closest one that they are almost always sold out of them every time I go. The food is pretty filling so I normally don't eat there for the real food. Way too much for me. I love Panera, but this location can NEVER seem to get my order right. I order the same thing every single time. Southwest Chipolte Ranch Salad w/no beans. The first few times I went was fantastic, and I used to eat here about twice a week. Then after that, they would forget the avocado, or the corn salsa or the cilantro. Even a few times when I picked up my lunch (I always get it to go) after I got back to my office, it was the completely wrong salad. It has been so bad I have had to complain to the corporate office. I can understand a couple times making a mistake, but this is crazy. Today I went back for the first time in a couple months to see if they could redeem themselves, and surprise, nope! They charged me $21 for a pick two and a drink and when I asked to see the receipt they said they couldn't get it but that the total was on the receipt on the bag which doesn't show why it would add up to 21 when I did the math and it was a lot less. I work close to Panera so I often order online and go pick up my food. My order is always correct. There is a place when ordering online for special instructions in which I often use. Today I wasn't feeling well so I asked for chicken noodle soup with more broth than solid and the soup was perfect. I also asked for a cute animal to be drawn on my bag with the words "get well". The drawing was amazing. I got back to work to find a cookie added to my bag with a small saying on that. It really made my day and made me feel better. I walked in 5 minutes to close to grab some pastries for breakfast and a lot of times people aren't as friendly right before close but the manager and the cashier were so nice and polite and I really enjoyed my experience. I have been a DEVOTED customer at this location. 90% of my business has been via their delivery service and their drivers are, for the most part, exceptional. Tonight, I'm so unhappy...I tried to place an online order at around 8:03 this evening. I thought the app was failing when it wouldn't accept my order, so I tried to call it in. There was no answer on the main line. I verified the store was opened until 10pm. Called again and followed the automated system instructions and again it rang and rang and rang. So on the third try I selected the "speak with a manager" option. Someone named GILDA finally answered. I explained my issues and requested that I be allowed to phone in my delivery order. She said the reason this app wouldn't allow me to place the order (or failed on me) is because they do not accept delivery requests after 8:00pm. I commented that they should post that on the ordering app since they are opened for a couple of hours later. She said she had never looked for that on the app but that it probably was posted. . I explained that because I have mobility issues, I really use & appreciate the delivery option so that was disappointing. She said all the drivers clock out at 8pm, and she was just following the rules. Then she said I could use the quick order pickup. To which I replied if I could do that then I would just DRIVE THRU. But I'm handicapped, thus the reliance on the delivery. Sigh. We went back and forth some more. But here is my point: I just wanted to be heard and share my concern, as a client, regarding the fact that this isn't noted online either clearly or at all. I was offering a suggestion. And yes, I was complaining since I was caught off guard and disappointed. I like Panera's food. I told her that I understood "the rules" now and was only giving an attitude because I did not feel like I was being heard. She just talked AT me, not with me. GILDA's lack of customer service skills and robotic repeating that the quick order pick up is still available (if I drive up there and pick it up) was irritating. There is more to "managing" a successful eatery than memorizing a passage in the manual. This is the type of scenario that drives away long term customers. So, if anyone out there even cares at this point, Panera only delivers from 11am to 8pm. And if you're handicapped and hungry at any other time...well too bad. read more
