We've been several times now and still not impressed with the menu or the value. First time we tried to go was shortly after they opened and they had a power outage. Scratch that on. Next two times were a bit better. Last time I had a 1/2 Turkey Avocado BLT with a side of soup. My wife had 1/2 Toasted Steak White Cheddar also with the side of Soup. I had black coffee, and she had the Madagascar Almond Cold Brew. She indicated that was the best part of her meal. Service was OK but not outstanding. For the price Panera charged, we could have gone to a nice Breakfast Sit Down Restaurant and had a complete meal. Sorry but my wife and I used to enjoyed Panera or at least the one in Huntersville but this one leaves something to be desire. read more

So I'll start by saying I'm a sip whatever member. I go to Panera in Charlotte often. I went to this location within the first couple of months of them being open. I waited and I waited at the counter. No one came up or over until I said hello.... Regardless I ordered. I thought no problem they are new. I went again and it happened again. This time I just left. Now only the people at the store know the reasons. But I'm not likely to make the mistake of patronizing this location again. Best of luck to those to choose to do so. read more

I'm a regular at Panera throughout the NC, SC, and GA markets and this store is by far the best one I've experienced. The food as usual was great, but what stands out the most is the friendly, welcoming attitude of the new GM here Paul. He made it a point from the time I walked in until now probably to speak to each guest individually, took the time to ask names, and interacted as if he really cared about our experience. I. A world gone completely mad, this made my day and others as well. The feel of this particular store is infectious, and we need that. Had a very poor experience here. I've eaten at many Panera this has to be the worst as far as customer service. They don't listen to their customers. I ordered a simple hot vanilla latte. After waiting almost 8 minutes I was presented an Iced latte. She made it over. The cashier Didn't apologize. The cashier looks confused and unprepared. Just wasn't a pleasant experience at all. at the end Miss Carter saved the day. She presented me with my correct beverage and offered me a free pastry which I declined but it was the gesture that made all the difference. Thank you Miss Carter. read more

Awful. We tried it a few times. One time we were told not to order on the electronic screen bc they were 30 orders behind. There were like 5 ppl there. We left bc we were told in 25 min we can try to order. We went again recently and were one of 2 families and order still took 15 min to receive. The staff is extremely slow and something is always missing from the meal. I wish they made a more cozy Panera, like others with booths and fireplaces. This one is cold & cheap looking with tables really close together. They are always out ingredients too. We've probably been here 7x, we had high hopes bc we loved Panera the brand. read more

We were very impressed with the customer service when we ate lunch there today. While we had a very large group with a huge order, they got every item correct, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Yesterday I visited the Panera Bread located in Denver, NC. This location had just opened and we were excited to have another restaurant option in the area. We used the drive-thru and ordered two broccoli cheddar bread bowls with a side of chips and a mac and cheese kid's meal. I pulled forward and there were two vehicles in front of us. We waited 20 minutes in line and once I paid, I was told that it would be an additional 10-minute wait because they were understaffed and backed up on orders. She told me to find a parking space, and they would bring the food out. I attempted to find a parking spot, but the entire lot was full. I had to park down the street. I decided to walk into the restaurant because I didn't trust they would find me since they didn't ask for vehicle information. I told the worker that I had gone through the drive-thru and had been waiting for over 20 minutes. She said that orders were taking 30 minutes, which is ridiculous. After 35 minutes, I finally received my order. However, there wasn't any bread in the bag. I returned to the restaurant and was told they were out of bread bowls. I told her no one said this when I ordered, and she said they should've. She went to the back and provided me with four baguettes. There were several upset customers inside and in the parking lot. There is absolutely no reason why it should take 35 minutes to receive an order. If you're understaffed, don't open the restaurant. If you're out of bread bowls, don't let me order the meal. If it's going to be a long wait, tell me beforehand instead of waiting until you swipe my credit card. My food should've been heavily discounted or free for the complete inconvenience. We will avoid this location for the foreseeable future. read more

My first time trying Panera Bread, I live in Denver and had heard good things about it and figured the new shop that just opened was worth trying. I ordered a Teriyaki Chicken & Broccoli bowl and a sweet tea. The order taker asked "Would you like a fresh baguette?", "Sure!" I say. The order was $18. In my mind I imagined there must be a lot of food for that price, maybe I got too much, maybe the bowls are meant to be shared. The Teriyaki Chicken & Broccoli bowl was about 1/3rd of what I would expect from the Japanese joint across the road, but it tasted alright - comparable to a quality frozen dinner, fresh out of the microwave I'd say. The real cherry on top for me was being asked "Would you like a fresh baguette?". It wouldn't be funny if they asked "Would you like a baguette" but specifically adding 'fresh' to it made my expectations high. Man, I love warm buttery bread, but this was about 12 minutes past being a garden paver. I bet someone in the back uses expired bread sticks to beat on the baguettes because when they're that dry they have amazing acoustics. The staff I spoke to seemed very polite and professional; the drive-thru is exciting if you have a fear of heights too! read more

I have attempted to visit several times. Major issues! They are never open as advertised. The employees are constantly outside smoking or on their cellphones while you have to wait for 1-2 minutes before they attempt to take your order. The Panera franchise needs to start from scratch with employees beginning with the manager. You will see no one in line at Panera and 8 cars in line in Starbucks in the same parking lot. I am currently sitting in the Drive Thru at the Denver and the service is AWFUL!! I had to wait 15 minutes to have my order taken then another 10 minutes at the window before anyone came to the window. There were only literally two people dining in and this was @7:30am. Definitely don't go here if you are looking for good customer service and fast food. If you stop here before work you'll for sure be late you're better off driving to the one in Gastonia. read more

I'm giving this Panera a 5 Star review because even though they just started up and have a few kinks to work out they have been the most polite staff I have encountered in Denver (obviously other than cfa) my order got missed by their software which happens but the response and care they took was above par , the food is always perfect and made well I haven't had a chance to visit inside yet but overall wonderful staff and wonderful customer service and I hope the city of denver can hold the same attitude and be polite to these workers who are kicking butt !!! The Karen's who review because they are impatient is just sad , this staff is working hard and it's composed of mostly a younger generation that is working HARD I wish I would've caught the workers name but he did a wonderful job and I really hope he gets recognized for the hard works he's doing handling upset customers when it really should be management but anyways they are amazing. read more
