Ordered lunch today. The price was $8.49 on the menu posted by the door. The staff rang up $10.16 total. I inquired about the difference from the $8.49 to $10.16 knowing that tax would not be that much. She stated that they charge for a WATER cup. At that point I asked for the order to be cancelled. She then expressed that she did not know how to reverse my charge. I walked out. Miraculously, the chg. Has disappeared. Needless to say, I will not be subjected to future price gouging. read more

Still Amazing, grabbed last minute dinner tonight and called around 8:30 and they still let me place a pretty big order, just said to be there by 9, no problem. I get there and my wife informs me she wishes we would've added a soup, I asked them when I got there if I could add that and they didn't hesitate. Look, If you are looking for jaw dropping Chinese food, this is not the place. I was in the area on business and got a taste for Chinese food twice. I got the Crispy Scallion Chicken on the first trip and it wasn't that good. I guess it was ok enough for me to go back a week later when I wanted some Mongolian Beef. That turned out to be so so as well, it was kind of bland. This isn't the best Chinese food, actually I would say it may be below average. However, the people are friendly and you won't have to wait long for your food. read more

It's a fast food Chinese restaurant. There wasn't anyone eating in when we dropped in but lots of people came in for their take out orders and the phone was constantly ringing. We actually decided to eat in. Tables were pretty clean and the atmosphere was relaxed. It isn't designed for sit down eating because our food came out in a Styrofoam take out container and the plastic utensils were wrapped in plastic. Anyway, food was pretty good. Big portions, very filling, not overly salty. Hubs had shrimp fried rice and I had crispy pan fried noodles with vegetables and meat. Everything was great. It's simple food, predictable and most of it is probably microwaved in the back. I mean, they told everyone who called to pick up their food in 15-20 mins. The prices seem reasonable, you don't wait long for your order and service was friendly. Will definitely return. read more

Mediocre at best. We ordered two VERY different meals but got two of the same thing. Both dishes were just OK, nothing to write home about. The crab Rangoon were decent and the spring rolls were piping hot but very greasy. We were trying it out for the first time since it's closest to our house but will probably make the trip in Mooresville for the place we like from now on. read more

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Ok, tried Golden Coast just one more chance.....ordered sweet and sour chicken. I mean the easiest Chinese meal to make and hard to screw up......BOY WAS I WRONG.....chicken was so small almost no breading and tough. Sweet and Sour sauce had very poor taste. I think that was because it was watered down. This is definitely the last time here for me. Had to give it 1 star cause they wouldn't let me give it a big fat zero. read more

This is the worst Chinese that I have ever eaten. The crab rangoons were overcooked and had little stuffing. The hot and sour soup had ingredients that I didn't expect and there was no "hotness". Fried dishes were dripping of grease, tasted "off" and were not edible. It seemed as if they threw a bunch of leftover ingredients together and thought it would "pass". Our food was completely inedible. My husbands peppered steak was poor quality beef, the rice was dry and mealy and the fried rice didn t have any vegetables in it. It was just brown rice. My sweet & Sour Chicken was made up of mostly gristle chicken sitting on a bed of raw vegetable that made the food taste like raw onion. My rice was dry and the sweet and sour sauce had pineapples in it and tasted like a bucket of sugar. I will never eat there again. Don t waste your money. First, the people who own this place are very nice, but it seems like they have given up. I have tried this place several times. Food has no flavor and seems to be cooked in old oil. Every time I eat here I get sick. Yesterday was no exception and it was the worst it has ever been. I have full blown food poisoning. Hot and Sour soup is like dish water. Chicken Lo Mien was not spicy (I asked for spicy) and the noodles were drowned in old oil. No spices are used here and every thing tastes so bland. I have eaten Chinese Food all over the country and never experienced the total lack of caring by this place. This is by far the worst I have ever had and is detrimental to your health. read more
