Pick 2. I chose clam chowder and half a steak and white cheddar sandwich
Marie N.

We stopped here for a lunch during Saturday errand running. We were both very happy with our Chose 2 option. I had a nice size bowl of clam chowder with a baguette. My half sandwich was a steak and white cheddar panini. Excellent. I don't like horseradish and I didn't notice that on the sandwich description it included that but the sandwich was really good. On the Chose 2 option, you have the choice of adding a bakery item for an additional $1.00. Oh, yes, thank you. I got a pecan pastry and it was delicious. I liked the idea of the kiosks that you can go up to place your order, pay for it and even take your blinking order pager. We used a regular cashier since we haven't been to Panera before. The cashier was very helpfu. Our food arrived at our table within a few minutes. The order was accurate. We will return to this location.

Two (?!!) Bacon Turkey Bravos!
Jennifer P.

I was famished following a Yelp UYE Boxing/TRX event! I'm kiosk-challenged, so ordered at the register: a Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich (whole) and a cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup. But.. wait.. I think I got TWO whole sandwiches. What?! I mean, I'm definitely not complaining; just the opposite in fact! Not sure if it was an error, or if they were like, "We should feed the hungry, sweaty, pregnant lady." Either way (error or not), thanks guys! Service was speedy. Many of the booths and tables needed a wipe down, but it was late (~8ish), so maybe it had been a long, busy dinner rush? Overall, obviously a good experience! Yum!

Always a good place for a good salad and sandwich. I've never been disappointed when I pick up my carry out.

This store went to coffee kiosk. The coffee is absolutely horrible. Ended up, dumping it out and going to Starbucks across the street.

They take too long to get service through the drive thru. Very disappointing. All I got was a turkey sandwich, chips & a drink.

Definitely the kind of place that's easy to stop into when you're looking for something simple and unfussy. We ordered the Italian beef with hot giardiniera and a garden salad. The standout for me was actually the bread--it was fresh, soft, and really elevated the sandwich. The beef itself was decent, but it was drier than I expected and didn't have as much flavor as I was hoping for. Thankfully, the hot giardiniera added some much-needed moisture and spice, which helped bring the sandwich together. The garden salad was very basic--just lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes--but the Italian dressing was excellent and packed with flavor. Sometimes a great dressing is all a simple salad needs. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would come back, but next time I'd probably skip the Italian beef and try one of their deli sandwiches instead. Based on what I've heard and seen, that seems to be where Berto's really shines.

3.5 stars, but rounded up because I didn't feel they deserved any deduction…read more I was REALLY looking forward to their #20 Old New Yorker, which I got in their Navel Cut pastrami. It was a solid 7, which is why I place it at 3.5 stars. I may be being picky here but it just wasn't to the level of "melt-in-your-mouth" pastrami standards for me. Not to say it wasn't good, because it was perfectly fine. In fact, it's better than most of the pastrami sandwiches I tried in Chicagoland. Maybe it's the fact that I had to bring it back to the office to eat it, and half hour had gone by and pastrami weren't as warm and the Jewish rye had become soggy by the time I took the first bite. I mean, it goes without saying that the sandwich would have been 3 times better had I sat down immediately and had it. Again, all things considered, it was a perfectly good sandwich. One interesting thing was that I had never been to an establishment that included a half sour pickle instead of a normal one and gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Pickles can be a hit or a miss for me. I like my pickles to be crunch, but some places offer overripened ones that become borderline mushy. Schmaltz's half sour pickle was not overly salty or sour, making it very attractive for me. The more I'm thinking about it, I'm convinced that I'll have to go back and try their #14 Sloppy Paul, which is the corned beef with sauerkraut, which is another favorite of mine. And this time, I'll be sure to dine in and give another review of it to see how much I like them better.

Lots of fun deli sandwiches to choose from. I chose a French Dip; hubby had a pick two-- a cup of matzo ball soup, and 1/2 corned beef sandwich. Both served with a whole new pickle. Mine was absolutely delicious. Tons of beef, melty swiss, and grilled onion. Served nice and hot with a tasty au jus. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his as well. Great Jewish deli. Highly recommend whether you're Jewish or not! ;)

I've spent years searching for the perfect deli sandwich. Every time I'd find a place I liked,…read moresomething would eventually disappoint me. Maybe the bread wasn't fresh, the lunch meat tasted processed, or the quality just wasn't consistent. Tony & Tina's Deli is the first place that has truly become my go-to. I absolutely love their subs, especially the Brayden. I always order the large, and it's packed with so much fresh meat that I can give a generous portion of the turkey to my toddler as a snack and still have a full sandwich left for myself. That's saying something! Their potato salad is also outstanding. It tastes homemade, not like something scooped out of a mass-produced container. It's exactly the kind of potato salad you picture enjoying on a hot summer day. What really sets Tony & Tina's apart is the customer service. The owners genuinely care about their customers. I've only had one issue, and it wasn't even their fault. It was a delivery service problem. They personally responded and made sure everything was handled professionally and promptly. If you haven't been there yet, give them a try. Grab a sandwich, check out the desserts, and if you're feeling lucky, they even have gaming machines. If you're busy and work from home like I do, their app makes ordering incredibly easy. Tony & Tina's has earned a customer for life!
