California scramble with a sub of fruit.

We visited this Honey Jam location for the first time mid-morning on a Wednesday. It was not too busy. Our drinks were brought promptly. Our server was personable and efficient with the order. However, he was not around to refill drinks and bring the check in a timely fashion. Our food came out quickly. All 3 of our orders needed to be returned to the kitchen as they were incorrect. They were corrected right away. The food was good once we received the correct food. The restaurant appeared fairly clean, and the noise level was acceptable for conversation. I would offer the following suggestion to the food runner- check the food and tickets carefully before bringing the food out. With all of the great brunch places around, I probably would not rush back here.

    Breakfast Burrito

Highly recommend breakfast burrito. I had chorizo and egg with taters on the side. Was delivered home without a problem.

I made a deal with my kids: if they were good at the dentist's office, I'd bring them out to breakfast in the community. We all love breakfast! It was our first time at Honey Jam (formerly Butterfield's; I submitted a change request, but supposedly it didn't seem legit to Yelp Staff??) Unfortunately, even though we arrived very early and there were only a few other patrons, service was so poor. It was me and my two toddlers (almost 4 and 5.5). I asked for extra napkins. Our server was stingy on them, even after my request, bringing out TWO. TWO extra napkins. Seriously?! The kids each ordered M&M pancake meals, which were OK. I ordered a skillet and a side of sausage links. Unfortunately, the sausages were all charred. Service continued to be really spotty. The floor could use a good sweep, and the bathrooms could have been more thoroughly cleaned. I think we'll be finding another breakfast spot when the next occasion arises.

This was the old Butterfields breakfast spot! First time here since they changed! Menu was impressive. I had a Bloody Mary, gluten free pancakes, some eggs, hash browns and bacon! My dad loves this place. Service was great. Place looks great too!

Food was good but expensive. Waffles for $15 is too much. Our server was rude. Won't be back.

Just like when it was Butterfields service was fast and good quality. They take a lot of personal steps when you enter.

What a sublime little oasis of Jollity, in this topsy-turvy graceless world!…read more My Bride and I, having just exited CDH from nasty Medical follow-ups, decided to take an alternate route home, it being a beautiful sunny late February day. We saw the retro sign, and dove into the parking lot. An excellent experience. This indeed is a "Family Owned Restaurant" - the kind you seldom see anymore. You know... the kind where the Owner greets you at the door, the staff is friendly and glad you came, the cooks 'on the Line' in back are well dressed and smiling, and everyone seems to be working toward making their Guests welcome and well-fed. God, I miss that culture! We ordered a couple items from their well-rounded Menu. Both were delightful. I had a Mexican Omelette - the best I've had since 2018, when my local Diner in Lisle closed. Today's Omelette was HOT (temperature-wise), with some Jalapeños that themselves carried some (just right!) spiciness to 'em. The Staff was very pleasant, chatted with us a bit, and certainly made us feel welcomed. When we left, carrying some fresh Pie for later, my Bride and I both simultaneously agreed- from now on, after a bout of Poking, Prodding and Snipping at Northwestern Hospital, we'll be stopping at Seven Dwarfs for dome rejuvenation. If they were located in Lisle, I'd visit a few times a week!! A wonderful Restaurant, well done!

Service is excellent, and the ambiance for staff and customers is quite casual. The place is all decorated in The Seven Dwarfs theme, with added fall/pumpkin decorations. As for the food, my husband ordered the Cinnamon French Toast Combo. I ordered a custom vegan fruit plate of strawberry and pineapple and blueberry.

We also ordered a brown sugar latte and regular coffee. The service was great and the food was also really good. I think the bagel sandwich is one of their best items and I highly recommend it. Be careful with the hash as it is a bit spicy! Also they gave English muffins and jam which was amazing!! Overall, definitely would recommend checking out for brunch :)

It's a very laid back, average lookin brunch spot. Nothing fancy but well maintained. Definitely try and get here by 930am or earlier, I noticed that my around 10am the wait time was waaaay long, 30 mins to an hour long. Thankfully my group got there just in time (930ish) and we were seated right away. Service was great from start to finish - drink orders were taken within a few mins of being seated and food orders were taken once our drinks were set on our table. Even with a packed house our server kept up with the hustle and bustle. We were in and out within an hour and 15 mins. The food and drinks here are pretty standard compared to other comparable/average brunch places. Portion sizes are generous, I don't typically leave with a to go bag however my tummy always goes home full and satisfied! A must try side in my opinion is their English muffins and house made jam, sooooo good!!

The atmosphere hits that perfect sweet spot, warm, welcoming, and buzzing with just enough energy to make you feel like you found the place. Cozy without trying too hard, friendly without being fake, and full of that comforting breakfast chaos that somehow makes coffee taste better. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and somewhere between the first bite and the shamefully aggressive scraping of the plate, I experienced personal growth. These weren't sad, cafeteria biscuits fighting for survival under mystery gravy. No. These biscuits showed up with confidence. Fluffy, buttery little clouds carrying gravy so rich and comforting it could probably talk me through my taxes and unresolved childhood issues. By bite three, I was mentally canceling my responsibilities and considering forwarding my mail to Glenn Oak. The dangerous part? I looked around and realized everyone else seemed equally possessed by whatever culinary wizardry is happening in that kitchen. Suddenly ordering one thing felt irresponsible. If the biscuits and gravy hit this hard, what else are they hiding back there? Glenn Oak is the kind of place that makes you want to tell everyone you know... and absolutely nobody at the same time because waiting longer for a table sounds emotionally devastating. 10/10. Bring stretchy pants, poor decision making, and don't make plans immediately after because you may emotionally commit to staying all day!

Other than the chicken noodle soup, which my husband liked after dumping bags of oyster crackers in it, he did not like or even finish his BLT sandwich, and he loves anything with bacon. He said the bread was old and stale. I did not even bother with their only vegan item here, fruit. They only offer filler fruit (cantaloupe and melon). Vegetarians should do okay if they are ordering eggs or ask for menu item modifications.
