Prices have gotten a bit high. There is a nice deal on Tuesday Bakers dozen bagels for 7.50. They forgot 2 of them, but at that point when there's already a good deal it's hardly worth it to go back. This was on Memorial Day around 2pm, so it was surprising that this was still an issue. I ordered a Chicken Cobb with Avocado salad and Pasta Primavera via the Rapid Pick Up. My order was ready for pickup by the ten minutes that it took me to drive there from my office. I was impressed that they got the order correct on the first try. When I returned to the office and began eating my salad, I was horrified to find a long, wavy piece of blonde or grey hair in my salad. I was already back at the office, so I didn't plan on taking it back. Instead, I called the manager and notified him of the issue. He was very kind and understanding, and offered a voucher for my meal even after I told him that I don't need a refund. For the quick action of customer service, this location gets three stars. I knocked off two stars because nothing kills your appetite quicker than hair in your food. This Panera had great service. I used the kiosk and it didn't glitch. This place is modernized and the server I had was really nice and helpful when I asked for butter. She brought it to me personally and if I needed more she told me I could ask her or she pointed in the direction it was in. By far the best Panera bread I've ever been to! I ordered my customized salad on their pre-order kiosks which sped up my wait and was so practical! Despite the restaurant being full of people sitting and in line, I managed to received my salad within 5 minutes of ordering. I had a number/ringer box that was supposed to notify me of when the food was ready for me to grab it from the counter, but like magic one of the employees brought the salad to my table instantaneously. I was so pleasantly surprised and grateful! Not to mention, the salad was exactly as I had ordered it and delicious at that! Shortly after I finished my salad, I returned to the counter to order a coconut macaroon (which was delicious!) and because I didn't have change on me and only a credit card, the employee was kind enough to put it on the house. I used their app to order on my iPhone. This has to be the fastest way to order good sandwiches. I did a rapid pickup and I was in and out before the lights on my car went off. I could have kept it running. It also took me longer to type this than it did to get out of my car and get our meal. I don't know why this location with leave Pick up orders outside of the counter for customers to pick up. It's a good way for someone to grab the wrong order. I don't know why they don't keep them behind the counter so they could verify which order needs to be handed out to the customer. read more

I love Panera. This location, isn't so great though... I drive all over for work and I stop at Panera's from Des Plaines to Downers Grove to Oak Lawn to Woodridge. Woodridge is the worst! I usually order online for pick-up. It is great that I don't have to wait in line, I just grab and go! (I gave 2 stars for my order being ready on time, everytime.) But every single time at the Woodridge location I get the Steak and Arugula Sandwich and it's like they put it together with their eyes closed! It is frustrating to have one big glob of 'garlic herb cream cheese' in the middle of the bread. (Is that why they included a plastic knife in my bag? Am I supposed to spread it myself???) Also, the other side should have the mustard spread, but that's just in the middle too. Oh and the pickled red onions? There is only like 4 in the middle of the sandwich. So the middle bites of the sandwich are good, but the rest frickin sucks! When you have that many "flavors" on a sandwich, they all need to be working together to taste good. I'm working and driving and I don't have time to pull over and remake the sandwich I paid almost $10 for them to make. They can do better, I guess they're just being lazy? Or they don't care. The previous customer she had was a crotchety elderly woman who was very rude to Kameela. Despite the interaction with that woman, Kameela was so friendly and pleasant. Ordered from the kiosk machine and my order went, 10 min later found out Panera was sold out of everything. Does this location not stock up or get enough pastries for customers. I went around 12 and everything in the pastry aisle was sold out. They didn't have any cinnamon swirl coffee cake or my pecan pastry. The service given at the the of ordering was fine. I dined in. I got my food in 7 mins. I went in around 6:30pm. The food tasted good. Butternut squash ravioli was great! I ordered a drink, so I can get a bakery item for $0.99...they gave me the crumb cake I a 'to go' box...which i did not expect. I asked for it on a plate and they gave it to me on the plate...but the person who gives out the bakery item, should ask, instead of just giving a to go box. I love Panera and have been coming to this location for a long time, but I feel like this location may need an improvement in the management. My husband and I went there for dinner last night. When I placed my order, I noticed that they had very little bread and bakery available to purchase which was fine because I wasn't planning on buying any. I ordered a Baja bowl was asked if it was ok that they were out of the Greek yogurt. Ok...I went to fill up my iced tea that I had already paid for, but there wasn't any available, so I had to get a diet soda. No napkins available at the drink counter either. When we sat down, my husband commented on how dirty the floor was, which isn't like him. There were lots of crumbs on the booths as well. I used the washroom to wash my hands before eating, and it also needed a cleaning. I don't know if they are struggling with Covid, but if they choose to be open for dining in, they need to pay more attention to their customers in the dining area. Food's expensive, employees are rude, items they run out of don't get updated in the system so you're often left choosing whatever else they have in stock. Portions are small, line cooks prepare the food differently depending on who is making it, so you might get a ton of peppadew peppers on one chipotle melt and like hardly any on another. Bread slices are poorly cut, one sandwich might have a giant slice with another being paper thin or with holes all in it so the food falls out or makes a mess. Tomato and onion slices are poorly cut so you get end pieces with all skin or the hard, unpleasant center pieces. Romaine for salads is typically old and withered, slimy, turning pink. Workers constantly forgetting croutons and other side items. Speed of service is poor, facilities are disgusting, hardly cleaned. Management is terrible, they don't like to answer the phone, they only resolve your problem if they can't prove you wrong. Food and utensils are often handed off without gloves. The first couple of times my coworkers and I ordered from here, we went in and ordered...during the lunch rush...bad idea. Rapid Pickup is the best thing ever, login to your Panera Bread account, select your location, select Rapid Pickup as your checkout option, pay with your credit card and bam...10 minutes later, walk on down the strip, right passed the super long cashier/order line down to the pickup counter and grab your bag and walk out. Done and done. Prices are pretty steep for what you get but it's pretty damn good. Never had any issues with any order mishaps, thankfully. read more

They offered a coupon for online ordering. I was working this Saturday and decided what do I have to lose? I placed the order for pickup on Friday night for p/up on Saturday morning at 7:45am. I arrived at exactly 7:45 and was next in line. I told the girl I ordered online and before I could say another word she whipped around, went into the kitchen and came out with my food already for me, handed it to me and off I went! It was correct, fresh and hot. I was THRILLED!!! I didn't even have to wait to pay!! I would have given them 5 stars, but in the last 3 years the price of the soufflés went from $2.39 to $4.09. That's insane. It's over a 70 percent mark up for what? Nothing has gone up 70 percent in 3-4 years. NOTHING. read more

I Love their food. Cost is the same as McDonalds except you get real food. I was standing in line and one of the employees moms was giving the manager a note for her sick son. The manager said he has to come to work sick or not. They are short of employees. I don't personally want a sick person fixing my food. Most Panera Bread locations serve Breakfast until 11:00 AM. This one decided to serve it until 10:30 AM. I was a customer that requested an breakfast sandwich. I was the only customer in line at 10:32 AM and after placing my order I was told that they stop serving breakfast at 10:30 AM. I was 2 minutes late and they refused to sell me a sandwich. If the Panera on Boughton Road, by Ikea, serves until 11:00 AM I believe this one should too. This isn't the first time I've experience poor customer service at this location either. read more

Bought cream of broccoli soup to take home after 3 spoons I instantly got heart burn. I tried to call manager to tell him I was going to return it but he never answered his phone so I took it back and he was working on the register so I handed him the receipt with the soup and he asked me what I was doing I told him it made me sick and I wanted a refund which he did I also asked him if it was a can soup by the ignored me. A couple days later I read a article about Panera and that they freeze their soup in plastic single serving bags like restaurants do on Chef Ramsey's show which means they either heat it in a micro wave it soak it in a hot water bath to serve it which also means it's NOT fresh but processed with lots of salt and possibly reheated till it is sold days later. read more
