After spending $35 for 2 people, when we got home we realized my husband didn't have his hat. We live 20 miles away so I called to see if it was there and was told no. The manager Stacey was very rude to me. I'm a sip club member and I stopped by to get an iced coffee, I placed the order and then I realized there were no cups where they always place them, I asked for a cup, and she questioned if I already placed the order, I said yes, she asked my name and looked for it in the screen of pending orders, my name was not there, then she moved to the register area and looked for my phone number in the computer, she said she couldn't see my order... but that "just for this time" I could have the coffee, and immediately she started to talk to other team member complaining about "those people" that just go and get a drink there without paying it and that she has been losing lots of money for that reason... whattttt? You're not doing any favor to me! I don't really understand how you couldn't see my order in the system, or see that I'm a sip club member, I even have the email confirming my order, which that day I didn't realize I could show to her... I ordered my food to be delivered through the Panera app. It's almost always delivered before the estimated delivery window. And always delicious. I never write reviews but today I felt it absolutely necessary, and here's why: I placed my usual order, got a text message that my food was delivered on my porch and was planning on grabbing it in a couple minutes as I was finishing up something on my computer. I received a phone call from Panera before I could even get to my door. Apparently the order that was delivered was for a different customer. The manager informed me that they were in the process of re-making my order and are sending it out ASAP, as well as the other customer who's order I did receive (they called in to say they received the wrong order). The manager told me to keep the food I received, as they cannot take any food back. If I could give this particular store 10 stars, I would. I was very disappointed when I made a special trip for their Chicken and wild rice soup only to wait in line, be serviced by a manager and then have to be told by a worker that they are not serving it that day. To make matters worse I bought a loaf of French bread to enjoy with my soup that I couldn't return, AND I paid cash and the manager asked if I wanted cash back or a credit for later use. Give me my cash back!!! I had plain bread, no soup for lunch as I did not like any of their other soups offered. :( read more

I'm a vegetarian and tend to customize a lot of the meat options on the menu. They've got my order right almost every time even during the peak of the lunch rush. And they have some of the nicest staff of any restaurants I've been to. Might be part of a big chain, but this location is definitely special. read more

This is probably the worst panera I've ever ordered from for catering. From start to finish, it just wasn't good. The guy attempting to take my order knew nothing about the catering menu. My order arrived 30 minutes late - I had to find out where they were never called. Brought orange juice I didn't order and small fruit bowl instead if large even though I ordered a large. Delivery driver had no idea about anything. Panera is over priced and there are much cheaper places with better customer service for catering. This place has really gone down the tubes lately! My most recent in-store experience with them involved waiting 25 minutes for an order that I had called in, in advance. They had asked me to wait for my name to be called. I waited. And waited. And finally - because there was similar kerfuffle/confusion at the expediting area - I went back to one of the cashiers and asked for a refund if the order wasn't ready. It WAS ready! It had been sitting on the counter behind the cashier area (it was timed at 18 minutes prior). Awesome. I figured everyone has bad days, and this was a week or so ago. So I called them again just now - to place a carryout order. The gentleman answering the phone said - somewhat rudely, "I'll have to put you through to someone who does call-in orders." And then the line went dead! From now on I'll be taking my business to the Grand River location. A bit further afield for me, but they have their customer service down pat. read more

They have good sandwiches, but very cheap about filling up large slices of bread. I once asked if they could put a little more chicken salad in my sandwich, and I was told no, that it was the standard portion they put in. Rather expensive for a lot of bread, and very little chicken salad. I also once got chicken noodle soup, and had to ask for a refund because it was so loaded with salt. When I am still in process of telling her the main dish. Also, worst attitude towards a customer. Of the two Paneras I go to - the other on 14 and Haggert Rds. in Commerce Township, this Panera is better. The people are friendly and helpful, and their service is great. My special favorite is the Asiago roast beef sandwich. I order it just how I like it (extra, extra horseradish, no onions, no tomato, extra pickles), and I'm sure to have a really nice meal. I visit the Panera Bread near my office daily at different times. Each day I visit and that this young black male is working who has taken the liberty of singling me out for his personal amusement. Examples of what he has done if I ask a question he ignores me. By walking right past me numerous times and I let it go. On this particular day my order was ready and I was notified on your reader board. He was in front of the line controlling the orders (hummm poor choice). He simply ignored my order as it sat on the counter. I told him I was notified my order was up a second he continued to ignore me. Then my order or name simply disappeared off the board and I told him a third time. Then he reaches over and hands me my order as if I was annoying him with no apology or anything. Again, it was just sitting there. I am sure this was personal but I do not know him so I am not sure why. This type of behavior has happened numerous times from him to me. Which is why I think it is personal. I work in the hospitality Industry and I am very busy which is why I decided to ignore it for so long. But, today was the last straw. When I went in to pick up my food today 8-20-18. I placed the order like normal and waited. I was the only person in line. I said to myself let's see what type of treatment I receive from this employee today as I am the only person here. I noticed he leaned over and noticed it was me. In fact he did a double take. When my food was ready he looked at me and said Marabel and laughed then said oh I'm sorry I was looking at another order. Again, I was the only person there it is 2:30 2-45 pm eastern time in the afternoon. My name is Mablene I am a Director of Sales for a hotel in the immediate area. We refer a lot of guest to that store as of today I will not be going back there. I will also make sure everyone that I know here as employee's and guest know of my experience with that location. I usually by pastry items for the staff weekly as well. I will simply drive to a location that does not want to make me a target. I never complain as I am in the service industry so I therefore mostly ignore error's. But, this was a target not sure if he does not like the way I look or what. I did lodge a complaint to the Manager and she did not seem to care that I would not be attending the store any more. It is now my personal quest to make sure that everyone around me and this hotel does not go there. I want to make an impact just as your employee did on me. I will now have to drive further away to have lunch.
