The customer service isn't what it used to be. The staff in the front (cashiers) are pretty customer service orientated but the staff in the back (where they make the food)??? HORRIBLE!!!!! I went to Panera today and ordered a salad. I specifically asked for no chicken, no bacon and no eggs! When I got to the window, I reiterated to her to her before paying that I did not want chicken, bacon or eggs on my salad. she said okay. I paid and got my salad. As I drove off I checked my salad.. My salad had bacon and eggs. I had to go back in line, when I got to the window I told her that I had reiterated that I wanted NO MEAT and no eggs. I have never been to this location, have eaten from others but it's been awhile. Just got my Flu shot and wanted a bagel so I stopped here to order the cinnamon crunch bagel. Pulled up to the drive thru and was told they're only accepting cash in the drive thru and cards inside. I placed an order for 6 bagels, guess it's been awhile because no cream cheese was offered . I asked the cashier the price difference and ordered the small container. Cinnamon crunch bagels were good I had to cut them myself because I forgot to tell them. my daughter ordered her dinner to DoorDash and the way they packed her food. They tried to blame it on delivery when they're the ones that no wrap on the bread and the bread was hard. We could not even eat service representatives were very nasty and they blame it on the delivery which as you can see the employees prepare the meal. The bread was not wrapped. I went to the drive through this morning to pick up 1/2 dozen bagels for my office. Aleyah came over the speaker after I asked them and said bagels? what? and then silence. I finally figured out she was waiting for me to tell her what type. I asked that and she responded "well yeah". I gave her my order then asked about cream cheese sizes. She said they had individual and a container. I asked her the size. she said "just a cup". I said please give me plain. When I came to the window she did not greet me. When we finished the money exchange, I asked to see the cream cheese container and she fished it out of the bag and showed me, not happily. She gave me my order and I left. This is my 2nd time at this location, but I've been to several Panera Bread restaurants. This store is very clean and the employees are really friendly. I love the brocolli with cheese soup, so that's what I always purchase. Also, I kind of create my own sandwich. I order a ham with turkey sandwich, on a croissant. Mayonnaise, mustard and light lettuce. Their food is usually delicious and definitely fresh. Today is my birthday, 2/27, so I get to select a dessert, since I'm a VIP customer. One time, they were out of several items despite the fact it was early in the day. Last time I went, u for home and they didn't even give my cream cheese for bagel (that I ordered!). I learned my lesson to always check my bag from this place before I leave. Also, the customer service here is terrible. The young lady taking orders was very short when I asked her questions regarding a few options. This has happened several times, and it needs to be addressed. I go to this Panera 5 days a week. I purchased the coffee subscription because it's directly en route to work. I canceled my subscription and as soon as it ends (because I'm going to use it until then) I will no longer visit this Panera for anything (Buh-bye.) My typical order is coffee or tea and a bagel or sweet to go with it. Like another reviewer stated, 90+% of the time the order is going to be wrong and or missing something. How can you mess up such a simple order? I get cream and sugar and no stirrer. I get a bagel with butter and no knife. Sometimes they put the cream in the coffee (please don't) most times they don't (thank you.) I always order ahead and unless I'm late getting there, my order is never ready: NEVER! With the exception of the lady that works up front in the mornings, everyone else I've encountered (especially in the drive-thru [Jesus, Mary, and Joseph!]) either hates their job, their life, or people in general. If you're that miserable at a job you pursued (unless you're in some type of prison work-release program: which would explain the attitudes) find another one. I went to this location today and got the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich on an Asiago Bagel. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. The Cashier Day Day Day and other employees instantly engaged with me. I'm 8 months pregnant and wanted everything on the menu. On top of that, I was dealing with major heartburn. They helped me narrow it down based off my likes and needs. The service was fast and the food was delicious. Day Day gave me milk from the back since the cooler was low and not pregnancy friendly. When placing an online order I had a pick up time of 2PM. I got to the drive thru line earlier around 1:56PM and was instructed that mobile orders could not be picked up in the drive thru and had to come inside. Upon entering I noticed that there were no customers and I was the only patron there. As I walked up to the counter I was greeted with a nasty attitude by the cashier. After giving my name and order I was told to wait by the "pick-up" window. About 15 minutes went by and I had not received my order, I walked up back to the cashier and was told my order was still being made. 15 more minutes by and I still had not seen anything, frustrated I walked up to the counter again and was told my order was "not in their system". So I had to show them that it was on my phone. After that altercation they finally "found" my order in the system. This place lacks customer service, management, and quality. What a disappointing experience. If you're looking for a sandwich/salad/soup place I highly recommend McAlisters or Chicken Salad Chick down the street. I tried the all you can drink coffee promotion. I purchased a meal which cost me around $16. The promotion prevented me from using my military discount along with the coffee discount, so the coffee promotion does not work for the military. However, I watched it sit on the pickup counter for an additional 10 minutes as the young lady preparing the food wouldn't allow me to grab it because my order number hadn't shown up on her screen yet. I had to watch her make multiple orders before she would allow me to grab my smoothie from the pickup counter. I understand there were larger orders before mine, but there has to be a better way for me to be able to grab my smoothie if it's in the pick up window and ready to go.
