I ordered a chicken Caesar salad without cheese. It came without chicken. Normally, I wouldn't be upset. But when I went inside there was not a single person there. I also paid $20 for a whole salad and half a sandwich. That is a lot to pay for lettuce and croutons..... definitely not thrilled. I dont mind paying more for fresh ingredients but their ingredients are not so fresh. I ordered pick 2 green goddess salad and sesame almond chicken salad. The chicken salad had to be several days old or they used expired ingredients. It was watered down soggy sandwich with old grey grapes, no almonds & celery had no crunch. It was not edible. The salad was old wilted greens, peel still on avocado and bacon was soggy mess. I called and spoke to Tony the manager who was suppose to send me a replacement coupon but never did. As soon as our order was ready for dine in they asked us to leave as apparently they were closed by the time our dine in order got ready. Decided to finally write a review, specifically for this location because I feel the need to praise the staff. This location gets heavy traffic, maybe due to the fact that it's always clean and the service is efficient. Name a time during the day (even the busy lunch hours) where service was an issue. None that I can recall, and I'm here almost religiously (find me hogging up the outlets next to the window every Sunday). Possibly their only downfall could be the lack of parking spaces, but I always seem to get lucky every time. Probably the worst bread co or panera of all time. They get our order wrong almost every time we go there. We usually do the rapid pickup, but they are almost always out of coffee, so I have to wait ten minutes while they brew another pot. This negates the purpose of the entire rapid pickup concept. The staff is not well trained, and not very friendly for the most part. We will find something to eat for breakfast elsewhere. I recommend you do the same. read more

Our visit was a tasteful and the restaurant was clean enough. Unfortunately, the restaurant lacked any staff personality or spirit. The cashier was the laid back type that liked to rest an arm on the computer and do just enough to make the grade. He did all the right steps and even asked if I wanted the 99 cent pastry. I ordered the brownie but he didn't hand it to me. I was told it was there on the counter. Granted, a couple of brownies were already boxed and on the counter, but it would have been great service to smile and hand me one. After picking up our order, I had to go back and ask the prep cook in line for our bread. It was simply handed to me without a plate. Stopped around 6:30 PM for bagels. That's a problem, hardly any available. The sad thing was that our waitress destroyed a bagel in the slicer, so one for the trash can. Would you like a receipt? I like coming to this Panera because its the best, most convenient of the fast food options in Fenton. However, when I say best, I mean their food is best. They have plenty of soups, salads, and sandwiches to choose from, so I can always find something I like. They also have a bakery where I can get cookies, bagels, muffins and various other things like that. Although I like this place, the people who prepare the food at times can be borderline incompetant. I want to say good things about this place, but I can't let this go. I'd say about 70% of the time I go here they find a way to screw up my order. I am generally happy to order off the menu, but my wife typically modifies her order from what the sandwich normally has on it - nothing wrong with that. They consistently mess up her order, leaving something in that should have been taken off, or forgetting to put something on. Sometimes they will forget to give me a pickle. Other times they'll forget my drink. But most of the time, what we get is not exactly what we order. At least they are quick to admit their mistake and will often make it up to me with a free cookie. In my mind, that makes it alright. But they still mess up so often that I know to unpack and inspect my food before I leave the restaurant when I order food to go. read more

This location gets my order wrong no less than 50% of the time. I would highly recommend driving to the next nearest Breadco.

This is probably the worst service and food mixup I've ever had with this establishment. I ordered lunch for my team for a birthday, I asked for it to be delivered between 1145 and 12 it did not get here until 1220 and on top of it the order was incorrect. There was only seven orders so I would have thought that everything would've been correct. Also we had ordered a half sandwich of the four cheese grilled cheese and there was barely any cheese on it and it was cold. I'm very shocked about this as I've usually had great service and food from this establishment. For my next team birthday I'm definitely going to think twice before ordering from here again. read more

Literally have gotten my order wrong three times in a row. Most recently didn't give me my chips and when I ordered a Bacon Turkey Bravo they forgot the Turkey. Well I love Panera ( aka bread co.) but they never have bread. That's the name of the company, my brother loves the bagels and sometimes they don't have any. If we go to a different location they have bagels and other bread items. But I would like to say that I love there mac and cheese as well as there mango smoothies. Today was my last visit to this Panera (Fenton) location. I ordered curbside which did not happen. My husband had to physically go in and wait. It was also supposed to be ready at 9:01am and it was finally ready at 9:25am. Not to mention that I only ordered 4 bagels with instructions to bread slice them with one iced coffee and the whole order was incorrect. Now that the food is finally home, the iced coffee tastes absolutely horrible. I live in Fenton and I continually try to give this location the benefit of the doubt since it is close and convenient but the customer service continues to be completely unacceptable. Ive had so many bad experiences with Panera, I will never go there again. This last and final experience was the icing on the cake. As I was waiting in the drive through, 3 or 4 employees were taking out the trash. While taking out the trash, they scrapped along side my truck with there little trash cart. Not sure what to do, I pulled up to the speaker to order and complain about them scrapping my truck. Wait for 10 min. and know one addressed me on the speaker. In the mean time, I see employees hanging out around the back door as they were slowly taking out the trash. So I finally pull forward to the window to talk to someone. After waiting so long I decide not to mess with my scratched truck and just order. When asked to order something, the employee told me to hold on... so I wait another minute until a manager comes to the window and tells me I can not order through the window. I asked her, why didn't you take my order at the speaker? She said, I don't know, we are wearing headsets. I said, well it obviously wasn't working so can you please take my order? She said, No.... Please do something about your drive thru. It blocks parking spots by wrapping around the small building. Employees are friendly and food is good. But I got yelled at by several other drivers for waiting in the correct line. Maybe a building with little space should not have a drive thru offered. Before going into this Panera I was expecting my visit to take a long time because I was going to order food and several gift cards. The general manager took care of me at the register and to my surprise within just a few minutes I had placed my order and had all of my gift cards activated and paid for. A few minutes later my meal was ready to go in which I had a grilled cheese and an avocado lime ranch chicken salad. Both were phenomenal with just the right amount of dressing on my salad. I actually ask for additional dressing initially but did not even need it. Upon my departure I complimented the gentlemen who prepared my food prepared my food. Great job to the Panera team. I am truly in love with this St. Louis Bread Co. Everyone who works here is always friendly and the service is fast. I usually come for brunch around 10:30 or 11am and their bagels are still in stock. Today I was informed they hired a new daytime baker when I asked about it. Immediately when you walk in you smell the fresh baked breads and pastries. If you don't have a Panera Rewards card you should!! Today I got a $2 cinnamon roll for free. I'm also very picky about my coffee and my Caramel Latte is crafted to perfection with a smile. I never eat at Panera but had breakfast there this morning. After viewing a photo of the Maple Bacon, Egg & Cheese Wrap sitting on the counter, that's what I ordered along with a medium coffee. What I got looked nothing like the photo. The contents of the wrap were skimpy and "barely there". It was not plump and full of bacon, egg, and cheese at all. It was flat and anorexic, like a leftover crepe. It was certainly not worth $4.50. I will never order a wrap there again. Also, I had to get the light roast coffee instead of the dark roast because the dark roast cannister was empty. Really? At 8:00 am? This Bread Company location features friendly employees, but they are understaffed and/or poorly trained. This is especially evident on weekend mornings, when standing in line for 10 minutes or more before placing your order is now commonplace. One register was open this morning, with a second only opened intermittently. After all of the waiting, I got the wrong sandwich as well. While at least it was on the everything bagel I wanted and tasty, ham, egg and cheese is not the power sandwich. Avoid the lunch rush because this location can get INSANE! The drive-thru line gets insanely long and the very small parking lot can be tough to navigate - not to mention that if the drive-thru line gets long enough, they start to trap the parked cars in their parking spots. With that being said, the food here is always absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and not too loud, plus it smells amazing with the bakery and coffee scents. They put in a drive-thru too. We usually go to St Louis bread co aka Panera when visiting family here and this was our first time at this location. They were out of bread bowls which was half the reason we went but Kat had such good customer service we didn't mind. We also had a great conversation and mentioned we love coming there and getting a coffee and coffee cake since we don't get. When she brought us our good she surprised us with a whole coffee cake on the house. It was very nice and meant a lot to us. Nothing better then great food and wonderful customer service. read more
