I've been to a few locations but the staff at this Bread Co. Just make it the best. I love getting the broccoli cheddar bread bowl... but I change it up sometimes and always find the other food is just as fresh and delicious. I go here often Bc it is close to our house but they always seem to forget something on my order when I go through their drive thru and there is hardly anything on the sandwiches - no matter which one. The quality of the food w panera seems to be going down in general - all locations - I'm lucky to get 3 small slivers of chicken on the frontega chicken panini anymore and honestly it's making me go here less & less as a whole, which is a bummer Bc I used to really enjoy Panera's food. This location however, is by far my least favorite as my order is always messed up & the quality is never good. Panera really needs to step it up as far as food quality goes, they claim their stuff is 'fresh' and I've opened salads with wilted lettuce to the point that it looked like it was bad long ago & have had to throw it out entirely. There are to many other places / options available now and so I'm finally cutting ties w this location especially due to poor quality and customer service. I write this only because of how rude the manager was today at the service window. I went to take one of my three dishes to my table and she rudely told me not to take anything. I looked at her asking why she was rude - she didn't say sorry, just they are doing a new procedure. It was relly the first time I have ever visited a Panera and had this type of experience and it was a manager! read more

I always order the same thing. Now they changed what they put on their signature Italian sandwich. Less meat and cheese, different sauce, and some chopped up I guess veggies. My son will eat anything and didn't like it. They used to have round baguette bread with salad now flat, and smaller. The quality has gone down. For the prices this is not good. I ordered a Sierra Turkey sandwich for rapid pick up when I got home it had turkey and onions. Nothing else. Now this is not the first problem I've had with bread co and I am honestly done with them. I called up and got hung up on, called back again and Joe has 0 customer service skills. He didn't even know where he was working, put me on hold for 5 minutes so I called back and finally spoke to the manager, when I asked for a refund she said she could make me a new sandwich. I did not want a new sandwich I wanted a full refund. I shouldn't have to drive back up there because the people working don't know how to make a sandwich. She said since I picked it up she could not pull up my order, which I call BS on. I've worked in customer service for 6 years and I know you have access to people who placed orders. She said she would give me a refund if I came in, so I went back up got a cash refund and asked for a new sandwich as well. She made it, very sloppy mind you. It was also next to nothing. I've been to this location several times and always had a pleasant experience. I was there on a Saturday night during the dinner rush. I was told there would be a wait time of 25-30 minutes. However, we were seated after only 10 minutes. I ordered one of the new ravioli dishes. I personally did not like the dish, and asked to order something else. I am a very regular customer, but that will most likely be coming to an end. I use the rapid pick up multiple times a week. I've gone through the drive thru numerous times as well. At this location in particular, my order is almost always wrong, so I have to double check and wait to get someone to fix it. Not to mention the staff never been too friendly. But this evening pushed me over the edge. They don't close until 9:30, I put an order in and would be picking it up at 8:40. The app didn't say it was unavailable, as it usually does if they are closed. I placed my order and arrived, all the doors were shut, no biggie went through the drive thru told them my situation, a guy over the speaker told me to pull up to the window and they had it. When I got to the window, the lady stuck her arm out with my bag, I said "oh thank you so much" she didn't say a single word, gave me a dirty look, and slammed the window. I'm just over being treated badly at this location. It's ridiculous, I'll drive out of my way to go to another location where people will treat you nicely. read more

I like the food at STL Bread Co, however the Fenton location gets our order right about half the time. We get mad and stop going, then months later try again and find the service just as spotty. The managers don't seem to care, they promptly give a free meal gift card - but the service continues to be sub par. It may be time to give up on this restaurant and switch to another similar restaurant in town. read more

I came inside to order. There was no acknowledgment that i needed to order the manager had to ask the team member to take my order. Her body language and facial expression had no interest in taking my order probably because she was busy talking to her boyfriend. No "hi, how are you? " anyways i ordered $40 worth of food. Then i realized i left my card at home. Had to call bf to get his card #. Anyways i gave her the 16 digit number and she just looks blankly at me. . She said "I'm gunna need the expiration" i said ok well i didn't know... let me shake my magic 8 ball so i can read your mind. ( i didn't say that ) she gave me the buzzer thing to let me know when my order is up. It buzzed, so i took it to her. She walks off with it. ... im thinking ok where the hell is my order? !? I stand at the counter for a couple minutes. .. she sees me standing there. .. i finally said so since the thing buzzed doesn't that means my orders ready. .. she Said "yes, it's over there."... and by over there i mean like all the way at the other end of the store. I told her it would of been nice if you would of told me... again let me shake my magic 8 ball. I have frequented this bread co. many times and 9 times out of 10 they are out of the bread they offer with the meals--it's the signature and the reputation that this restaurant is built on and they are consistently out of the french baguette! It doesn't matter if i come at 6pm or later they are always out. It's a bakery!! Make enough to get through the day and then if you have to throw some out then at least you have satisfied your customers. There is a lot of competition out there for our money and you can get a lot more consistency from a decent fast food place then to eat here. A place that compares to this is McCallisters and i have never had an issue there being able to get what i ordered. Again, if this was islolated i wouldn't be even writing this review but it happens nearly every time. I inquired with mgmt. why are they always out of certain items and they tell me the baker comes at night. Seriously? What does that have to do with it? Make enough product to get through the shift! This is all about their bottom line and that's all their concerned about. Customer service has taken a back seat and profits come first! Just to see if this store is the only one doing this, i went to the Sunset Hills location pretty late on a week day and not only did they have everything i ordered, the baguette was so fresh and so good as if it was just baked.
