We always do drive thru pick up and every time we have a problem. The most recent time, I placed a pick up order at 9:16am and when it was confirmed, it said it wouldn't be ready until 9:44am. I ordered the "Garden Avo" (which is toast) and realized after I paid that they gave me the "Garden Avo Egg White Sandwich". I was in the area and needed a quick yummy lunch! I found a Panera Bread nearby and darted for this place! It looks clean, nice, and new. I decided to do the ordering at the self ordering area. Of course, I forgot my drink! I walked to the counted and tried to order a large ice tea but the staff member was so nice to offer it to me for free. THANK YOU! That was very sweet and not necessary. I drove through yesterday to get two cinnimon rolls for breakfast and noticed they were not similar to the ones I had gotten before. These looked like hocky pucks not the big fluffy ones from before. They not olny looked like hocky pucks they were hard and stale and had the texture of hocky pucks. I am sure they were two or three days old dry and over baked. As I was ordering at the drive-thru,I thought to myself why haven't I come here before. I ordered (1) chicken Roma asiago bagel stack at 1:54 PM (on the receipt). They told me to wait at parking spot number two as the order was taking some time. As I watched other cars, get their food and noticed their bags were larger or sometimes more than one, I thought to myself when will I get my one bagel. By 2:10 PM I went in the store wondering what happened to my sandwich. As I was asking for a manager, I saw a young man walking out the door towards my car and realized that was my sandwich. However, for this Panera I would give this store negative stars if I could. At 6:05pm, I ordered a tuna sandwich with arugula on a toasted baguette. Lady manager came out about ten minutes later to tell me as a matter-of-fact that getting a tuna sandwich on a toasted baguette was not possible at this Panera. I would have paid extra if that was an issue for the Lady manager. For over thirty minutes I could overhear the Lady manager working the register and pushing the Panera rewards to all the walk-in customers. Lady manager has a loud, commanding, and projecting voice. She sounded nice, courteous, and respectful to all the other customers. That was not the same and equal treatment that I received from her today on June 09, 2023 at 6:20pm; all the contrary. Not the first time I've had a food issue with this place. I have gotten a mediterranen veggie with NO meat and there was turkey on it. This time, I take my second spoonful of soup and before I eat it I see a thick black object... I didn't believe it thought it was basil or something until I flipped it and touched it, round and hard. I found a bug in my cup of ten vegetable soup, it looks like a beetle of some sort. There are more reviews of bugs being in their food. I'm appalled and angry nothing has been done, it looks like they have a health violation too. I talked to the manager and all she did was give me my money back. She didn't do anything about it. I decided to stop by Panera Bread for lunch, as it was right around the corner from me. It's been years since I've been to one. Like pre-covid! So, I was happy to be dining in after such a long time. There's been lots of changes since I've visited last. They now have self-order check-ins. You can use the tablets to check out the menu and put in your order. I'm giving this visit a 4-star instead of 5 because it this change. This change isn't necessarily bad. It was just extremely annoying for me to spend mins looking over the menu, adding items to the cart, getting ready to put in the order, just for it to tell me it was card or Apple Pay only. That irritated the soul out of me. I don't know why they didn't have all 3 options on there--card, Apple Pay, or cash... Nonetheless, it was very inconvenient, as I had to go wait in line to order just to pay by cash, when I spent mins on the tablet preparing to put in my order. Aside from that, my dine-in experience was pleasant. It was clean and cozy; and I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, as I had terrible service on that side of town. It was about 5pm and there was a good amount of ppl dining in. Nearly 1/2 of the tables were full, which is a lot, because, some Panera's are pretty large, for them being a sandwich shop. I ordered the Turkey Bravo sandwich (full), which came with chips, and a pickle; and for my drink, I decided to try one of their lemonades. I tried the Fuji Apple Cranberry lemonade and I loved it! It was very crisp and refreshing! Panera Bread hasn't failed me yet when it came to the quality and taste of the food. So, I'm a happy camper! read more

Food is great as always. The only complaint was that, they did offer free cookie for pickup orders. However, when I requested politely to exchange the cookie for another flavor, the girl was reluctant and not happy. I've been to Panera a couple of times since they took over paradise bakery. I was disappointed a few times with the portions on their chicken walnut sandwich but kept coming back because it wasn't always like that. However, this is the first time that I have ever experienced something this horrid. I ordered my usual chicken walnut sandwich with a fruit cup and my god. The bread felt like you had to put your all into just tearing it apart with your teeth, they practically only put a spoonful of the actual chicken walnut part of it, then covered it with a bunch of "greenery".. well this greenery was all brown and you could easily see that it was past it's expiration date. And my fruit was all mushy and brown. And the little pickle that comes with this meal? Just take a look at the pictures I've attached. I'm not sure what's going on but I experienced some of the things others have mentioned in the reviews. While I LOVE bread, the ratios were off. So much bread, so little chicken salad and so little cheese for the grilled cheese. The soups were tasty but not hot (just warm) and it was like they put a cup of soup into a bowl. Conveniently right off the i10 ,easy on and off ramp access! They have a drive thru which is great to pick some food up and go. I got the turkey, scrambled egg on Asiago sandwich that was full of flavor. My partner did get a Chipotle chicken , scrambled egg and avocado on ciabatta bread that he said tasted okay but preferred my sandwich. Most of the Panera's I have gone to hasn't had the greatest food, but I think this one is the best. I got the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad with a side of the bread and it tasted pretty good. I would definitely be coming back here again for coffee or something quick to eat. read more
