Having just tried this restaurant for the first time as a take-out (6.28.26). I can honestly say this is the worst Thai meal my wife and I have ever had, and here's why, namely: 1. Wonton soup was not wonton soup, but masses of vegetables in a liquid! 2. The fresh shrimp rolls, was again just full of chopped vegetables and one shrimp per roll! 3. The chicken satay, was so skinny, literally no meat! 4. The Pad Thai, was disgusting, again full of vegetables and just a ball of noodles thrown in. There was no proper Thai cuisine preperation here! 5. The Pa-Nang curry, again had its fair share of vegetables. and the skinniest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. To top it off we paid $92.58 for what should have been a delightful meal, the bulk of which ended up in the trash can, disgusting! I am bummed, I loved going to this place but I do not think I will be returning anytime soon. First things first, the a.i generated menu is a huge turn off. They have a note on tables saying they had to increase prices, and I do understand that and in theory I don't mind paying more if the quality reflected that. But, it did not... I got the Thai sausage appetizer and the ginger was mushy and brown. It didn't seem fresh and I've been coming here for years and here never happened. And the shrimp red curry was $26!? I think that's a little outrageous for curry for the pretty small portion. Truly, I wouldn't mind going to the place is the quality reflected those prices. Instead I felt ripped off. I do want to give this place another chance, the ladies who work here were super nice but I think I am priced out from coming back unless I come of some extra money, this is definitely a place that's a splurge now and it used to be reasonable for the quality. Our go-to is always their Green Curry Chicken and their Basil Fried Rice. 4 vs 5 stars due to dine-in experience. It's always a warm/hot temp, which is not good for Arizonans. And the service is nonexistent as you generally have to wait (food gets cold) trying to get their attention to ask for everything, including water. Our water glasses always go empty. They don't pay attention to water glasses, not even when they deliver something and can see they're empty. They won't come back with water, unless you ask. read more

We stopped here for the second time while traveling through Phoenix. Bottom line is that the food is too sweet, too Americanized, not authentic enough for our preference. We ordered Vegetable Green curry and Pad Thai and mango sticky rice. The curry was overly creamy, too thick, too sweet. Pad thai was too sweet. Sticky rice with mango was surprisingly not sweet for a dessert! We always give a restaurant two tries before moving on. We won't be back. read more

Had a try at their Drunken Noodles and boy was it good! The portions could have been larger given the price point, but the meal was delicious! You could really notice the curry and chili oil flavor permeating the dish, and as always the service was attentive and prompt. read more

What a gracious, beautiful atmosphere. The lovely, smiling ladies who greeted and seated my husband and me made us feel right at home, took our orders and served our food quickly. We had just seen a sad movie at Harkins. Afterwards, an older gentleman collapsed in the theater hallway so we had called the paramedics and supported his upset wife until they came. Driving over to this restaurant, tucked away in a corner of a nice strip mall, then sitting down for a warm meal in that calm space was exactly what we needed. We shared the Thai Pumpkin Curry (with veggies only) and the Tom Kha Gai (chicken coconut soup) which was more than enough for us, after all the snacks we snuck into the theater. Talk about soul warming. Just enough chunky goodness in each, defined by beautiful broths. These ladies are so sweet, even as we were leaving - so blessed. read more

Ordered online for pick up and it was a seamless and timely process. When I arrived, my food was packed and ready to go. Pad Kee Mao / Spicy Noodles (level Medium+) were good but a bit on the oiler side. I probably was a bit too conservative with the spice level and could've gone with the "Hot" ranking. Papaya Salad (level Medium) was fairly spicy / had a strong kick. I wasn't expecting the cabbage that was included to be whole though. Mango Sticky Rice was surprisingly salty. Heavy on the "not too sweet". Thai Iced Coffee was STRONG but tasty. Thai Iced Tea was heavy on the creamer/sweetener and a little watered down. Overall though, one of the better Thai spots in the greater Phoenix area - though a bit expensive for the portion sizes. All in all, would recommend. read more

I thought Royal Jasmine was pretty good. For starters, the restaurant is nicely decorated inside and clean. We were seated quickly by our server who was very nice and attentive. This place is a cute little gem in a shopping center. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. We held our monthly book club in here and it was such a nice place. There were other patrons in there as well and they were still able to seat our party of 17.The food was bought out hot and quick with no complaints at all. I got the "drunken noodles" with shrimp. The waitress asked me how spicy I wanted it 1-5...I opted for level 5 and they did not disappoint. I was able to try their shrimp tempura along with some veggies that were also fried. Chefs kiss! My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. The pot sticker appetizers were very good. The spicy seafood platter was excellent- generous portions of fish fillet, shrimp, shellfish, etc in an excellent sauce. But the star was the red curry chicken- generous portions of chicken with a simply magnificent curry sauce. After the chicken was gone, I emptied the sauce bowl on the rice to slurp it all up. Excellent friendly servers, and the meal came out Quickly. We live in Surprise so this is a bit of a trip for us, but we will be back. read more

After multiple mistakes and paying premium prices for incorrect dishes, I've reached my limit. It's frustrating to pay for quality Thai food and not get what you ordered. The outside is plain, easy to miss in a west valley strip mall. Inside was dark and cultural. Not crowded with kitch, but wide banquet seating and a few tables for door dash and take out, which seemed pretty busy for a Friday noon. I had papaya sala which was billed 0-5 heat and I took 0. It was plenty hot for me, leaving a the pepper burn to lips and back of the throat after I ate it. It was very good, redolent in julienned papaya, with crushed peanuts to the side and green and sliced peuple cabbage. We also ordered spring rolls which were freshly prepared using whole shrimp, not slicing them in half to stretch the shrimp supply. The sauce was tamarind forward , not peanut sauce but it was very good and worked well. The bathrooms were immaculate as was the entire restaurant. I want to start off this review by saying HOW INCREDIBLE THIS PLACE IS!!! Our party tried over 10 dishes and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them was so flavorful and delicious! Honestly this is THE BEST CURRY I've ever had and I've had a lot! I tried the pumpkin curry and OMGGGGG! My husband got the yellow curry and it was JUST as good! There's an incredible depth of flavor in all the dishes that I have not experienced at other Thai places. The service was amazing! We ordered our appetizers and by the time our water came they were already coming out! The ambiance is nice and very clean. THIS IS OUR NEW THAI SPOT! I have nothing but glowing things to say about this restaurant. Also I wanted to add that Ben was not our server but I think he filled up my water probably 4 times without me having to ask for more water, he made the experience even greater for us! First let me say I'm Thai and grew up eating homemade Thai food so I'm picky when it comes to Asian food in general but very picky when it comes to Thai food restaurants and I rarely go to one because I'm usually disappointed and can make it at home better but sometimes you want to go out. Ate at this Thai restaurant with my friend yesterday. It's not bad but I don't know if it's mom or aunt worthy just yet. I think I have to go again and order more Thai oriented dishes, like pad see ew, papaya salad, curry or laab and then I'll have a better idea on whether or not to bring my mom and aunt to try. We got crab puffs and they were ok. They actually had a little imitation crab in them. I didn't care for it though. My friend got pad krapow chicken which is Thai basil chicken. I tried a little of it and it was good. I got the spicy fried rice with chicken which was also good. Now I want to make it. Lol! I already make Thai basil chicken. We got our food medium spicy which was pretty spicy. So watch your spice levels when you order. We ordered the lunch specials which came with an egg roll, side salad and fried wonton. The side salad needed dressing, the fried wonton is just that, a wonton fried. I kept calling it a tortilla chips. Lol! I did not like the egg roll. It was just an egg roll filled with cabbage mix. For the most part what we got was good. But I need to go back and try other things before I decide to have my mom and aunt try this place out because if you think I'm picky when it comes to Thai restaurants, they are far more critical than me. I don't hate it and I'm willing to return. That's saying a lot for me and a Thai restaurant. I requested them both with veggies instead of meats due to having some dental work done so I really couldn't chew meat yet. Both containers had more veggies than noodles and rice! So disappoint. We went here for lunch one of the days we were on vacation in AZ. It is a family run restaurant with lunch specials. We ordered the chicken pad thai with no spice and the chicken and broccoli dish. This is a delicious spot tucked away in a plaza between a coffee shop and a butcher. I came here with my husband and parents because my parents have been a couple of times and recommended it to us. We started with a couple Thai teas, and they were delicious. A good size, just the right amount of sweetness and quite a strong tea flavor. It's a little pricy at $4.50 but worth it to me. The curry selection was solid--two of us chose the green, and it had a good amount of veggies. As someone who enjoys spicy food, 3 was the perfect level of spice for me that wasn't too hot but still had a kick (on a scale of 1-6, with 6 being Thai hot). We also tried the pad Thai with chicken and shrimp (the shrimp were big and juicy) and the pad-see-ew, which was tasty and had a good amount of chicken and veggies. The service was friendly and fast, but they did seem to be shooing us out a bit at the end by coming over to bus our table a couple of times and take our signed checks, even though it wasn't busy. Been trying to find the best Pad Thai. But unfortunately I have not found it yet. My husband and I ordered some food to go last night and he ordered the Pad Thai. I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and we also shared chicken satay and egg rolls. Let's start with the bad, then I will tell you what we liked. Pad Thai had no flavor whatsoever. I took one bite and spit it out. He absolutely hated it too and threw it away after one bite. Tasteless, dark brown and greasy. The chicken satay was terrible too! Very greasy and not much flavor once again. Yellow curry was very flavorful. I really liked it. No green. No red. Just onion, potatoes, carrots and chicken. I was expecting it to have a at least a pepper or something else to make it even better. The egg rolls were good too. We will be back to try and find at least one more dish that we like so we can continue to support local. Definitely will not try the Pad Thai ever again! I really hope the other dishes they have on the menu have more flavor. Also I have never been to a Thai restaurant that doesn't ask you a spice level. They never asked and I was expecting at least a little bit of heat in my curry and I had none. Next time I'll ask. read more
