I've only ever had Panera Bread catered in. This was the first time in one and I was ordering take out for 7 people. The place was bigger inside than I thought it would be. Nice set up. I placed the lunch order around the change over time from breakfast to lunch. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick it was ready. Brought it back to the shop and had no complaints on any of the food. I had the turkey and cheddar sandwich and broccoli and cheese soup. I was pleased with both. read more

The new Panera menu is a flop in my book. They removed the chicken salad sandwich at the beginning of summer. Big disappointment. I finally settled for a club sandwich and asked that they substitute the bravo sauce with a mayo. Simple request NOT! They did not have a drop of plain old mayo in this so called sandwich shop. My wife's grilled cheese wasn't toasted. It was dry grilled with the cheese dried on the bread. Go figure....... My chicken and rice soup arrived in the consistency of oatmeal or mashed potatoes. Another novel idea. Soup you can eat with a fork. This all took place at the cascade site on 28th street. These places used to be great. Not so much at this location. read more

Now, I know it's been a little while, y'all, but Mama Sharon is BACK and just in time for Christmas too! Even though it was a little warm today, my graceful hubby and I stopped at this here Panera looking for a little winter cheer. Little did we know the absolute disaster that was about to unfold. For starters, they hadn't even bothered to turn on the fireplace, which broke our poor old hearts... We just couldn't believe it! We even asked one of the worker girls to turn it on, which they did not. Unbelievable!! After this disgraceful blunder, my daft husband got me an ENORMOUS cup. Now when I say big, I mean BIG! This cup was probably the size of a small child for goodness sake. Now I can survive a freezing cold restaurant and a gluttonous chalice, but when our food arrived, it came with the unthinkable... PLASTIC silverware, or should I say, cutlery. What has Panera come to where we're being served with this junkyard TRASH? Naturally, we complained, but apparently the cheap plastic was all that they had. Despite our setbacks, we decided to just sit back and try to eat our meals, but then I opened Facebook and saw the most horrendous news about the seabirds dying. That just put such an awful taste in my mouth I couldn't hardly finish my meal. I can't say much about the service of being in the store but my company ordered 65 lunch boxes and not only were they early, they agreed to bring them early. Everything went smooth with the exchange. Everything was boxed and packaged nicely. No complaints here. Food was average Panera but overall, a good experience! read more

I don't know why this location has so many bad reviews. I've eaten there a few times recently and every single time I have had a good experience. I love grain bowls and when I discovered that Panera has warm grain bowls I knew that I had found my go to place to get my fix. I have gotten the same thing every time, Baja bowl with steak instead of rice. It is amazing! Staff has always been very friendly. I'm new to ordering online, but it was real easy to do with their app. Just writing this review has made me hungry......I might have to treat myself to a Baja bowl real soon! read more

My french onion soup was cold and tasted like nothing. There was no baguette slice with the soup like it normally would have. The new flatbread pizza was cold and so dry. It needs way more sauce and stuff. It does not taste fresh at all. It tastes like they just microwaved it and it was still cold. I did not like it. I usually eat a lot of pizza but I did not want to eat this. I'm still hungry and not satisfied at all. My dad liked his coffee though. read more

Not the best visit yesterday. Arrived for a late lunch, about 1:30. Ordered chicken noodke soup and a fruit cup. Went to get order, had to ask fir fruit cup and they gave me cream of chicken soup with broccoli. When they were informed of the mistake, they said that they would bring me the replacement right away, which they did. Another bowl of cream of chicken with broccoli. Fruit cup was ok..the mellon pieces were hard, which to me indicates thst they weren't quite ripe yet. Also, waiting fir the food at the service window was a bit diffulcult as the pick up drivers are very agressive and rude to the customers waiting. Here I sit bagel-less... I ordered bagels in the morning and received an order confirmation. Over an hour later they simply decide to cancel my order (because they essentially sold my said bagels)....now I have no bagels. Their solution...offer me a single bagel on another day for free, sadly I needed 18 bagels today, not one future bagel. Now it's to late in the day for me to order bagels from another store....so I have to settle for no bagels and bread that I will magically turn into toast, through the use of a toaster. Had to cater breakfast for a work event. Had a great experience with the folks here. Called the day before to confirm my order the man I spoke to on the phone was very nice! Went to pick up the order in the morning got there about 6:40a. Manager came out and greeted me told me they were actually open I could come in. Normally I would give Panera at least a four star rating; however, this location has certainly fell extremely short of my expectations! Friday morning at 9 AM with no bagels! When I asked at the register the guy behind the register said busy morning it is what it is...REALLY?!? Unacceptably!!! I went back to my car drove to Dunkin' Donuts to get what I needed for a meeting and called Panera's customer service number. It seems this Panera as a franchise owned Panera and the customer service person told me that they have been having issues with the person owning this franchise. Obviously that's clear as the customer service is extremely lacking. My kids love this place. Broccoli Cheddar soup is their favorite. We always have enjoyed the food and never had a bad meal here.

We went through the drive-thru the other day. It isn't a fast drive through in comparison to other fast food places, but it is real food and Whole Food. I picked up the Tuscan Chicken Sandwich and the Fuji apple chicken salad. My mom and I split the you pick two special. 4 the entire order, our total came out to more than $12. This is something that I can do to share the cost, but I could not afford this everyday. The Fuji apple chicken salad is probably my most favorite salad of all time. read more

I eat at Panera Bread frequently when I am traveling, and this one is the worst I have encountered. First, when I arrived I used the Ladies' room and the stall had no paper. This was reported, and they replaced it. But they didn't 'start' the roll, and it just went round and round and you couldn't get any paper! Like a 15 year old would do to replace it. I was just meeting my sis for coffee--which was fine--but I ordered the chicken Fuji Apple salad to go for my dinner. I love this salad. It's great. Not this one. Did not open the box till I arrived at my destination,and I discovered there was NO dressing. Not on the salad, not on the side, not anywhere. So I got to top off a very long day with a bunch of dry greens. Also, they seasoned the chicken with something very spicy. My mouth is burning. I have had this salad at least a dozen times from other Paneras. And never is it spicy. And dry. And only one or two pieces of dried Fuji in the whole thing. Panera Bread, St. Louis Bread, however you know it, these places are pretty sweet. Located all throughout the country, and a good product with great consistency is what they offer. This Panera location is where I walk across the street to when my car is in the shop, as it is now. Poor thing. My poor baby (I call her Jocelyn), is having some troubles and I need to get her fixed before my big road trip next week. So, when I need service, I already know I'm headed to Panera, and I'll plan my day around it. Why? Cause the food here is good! It's just plain good. Not healthy, but good. And who knows how long I'll be here, waiting for my Jocelyn to get fixed up. So I sit here with a window seat and a view of the dealership. My heart leaps when I see her driven out of the garage all washed and sparkly clean. I started the morning here with a Lemon Poppyseed Mini-bundt Cake and a no whip no foam skim milk Cafe Mocha. And if the Jocelyn takes another few hours, I'll get my favorite sandwich: A You Pick Two with tuna on multigrain, no mayo, adding extra spicy mustard, extra onion and tomato with Chicken Noodle Soup. And for my side? French baguette. Yum! Their tuna is so tasty! Tuna is not as easy as one would think! No way! Panera's tuna is great no matter where I find it: Grand Rapids, St. Louis, Chicago... great! Tip: just 'cause they have free wifi, don't be skimpy and get a single refillable coffee and park your ass all day long hogging up the bandwidth and seats... I know you got kicked out of the other, local, coffee shop for that behavior, but it don't fly here either! read more

The only thing I go to Panera for is the 13 pack bagels. its good for work stuff. Hence the 2 stars. Otherwise, it would be one star for me. I am not a fan of their sandwiches or soups. My wife dragged me there yesterday as we were lazy to prepare dinner. I had a half ham/cheese sandwich and the black bean soup. Honestly, I could have done it better. No offense. The black bean soup had too much cumin for my taste. The sandwich was nothing to write home about. The mustard dressing certainly did not help. A sweeter dressing would have been better. Some time ago, i had their Cuban which I found it too greasy. IMHO, Panera should stick to pastries. No complaints there. I would have been happier at Chipotle for a quick bite - or Wealthy Street Bakery for sandwiches and pastry. read more

This location is different: the physical parts of the restaurant feel worn and not well maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately they have a hard time estimating demand and having bakery items stocked. We arrived a bit after noon on a Sunday and they were out of many bakery items, including such Panera basics as plain bagels and cinnamon crunch bagels. Even the bathrooms were somewhat substandard: dark, kinda grimy and with worn looking fixtures. We left disappointed overall. read more

This restaurant is night and day different than only a month ago. We have been customers since it opened and before that, at the old location a little to the east. The service and quality HAD been top notch, now it is an exercise in frustration. It appears to have seven or eight employees and one worker. Take a sack lunch because you will be hungry again when your order FINALLY arrives. Our party placed our orders after a lengthy wait in line while one overworked lady filled bread orders and ran the til. The we sat in the dining room waiting and waiting. I made two trips to the pick up counter to see where our lunches were. We had waited as long as we could afford we went to the counter to demand a refund. My caprese sandwich was basically 2 pieces of bread with a smudge of sauce. There was a tiny bit of cheese and a little piece of tomato. Prior to this, my salad had so little lettuce, you could see the bottom of the box. I should post pictures, as they are comical, but sad for the price you pay!!! If you buy, look at your food first.
