Summer corn soup in a bread bowel and strawberry poppy seeds salad. I did the Pick 2 offer. Total is $12

Food: always delicious and creative. Good portions. Service: you can order to go. At the from cashier or at the computer at the front and get a number which rings for food to be picked up. Ambience/environment: it gets super busy during lunch. If you are going with a big group or going to study, I would re-consider. All is all. This place is my fav spot to come and grab something to get while I get some work done.

I love panera bread. They have the best bread and the best soup. I usually order the half and half so that way i can get half a sandwich and half soup. They are usually pretty quick but one time they completely forgot my order and I had to wait almost an hour for my meal. Hopefully this won't happen to you. If you get their rewards this place would be even better. You get random free things. One month I got a free daily bagel! Unfortunately that doesn't come with cream but hey free is free. Can't complain. They have outdoor seatings so you can bring your dog if you liked. This place is also great for meetings, small date, and doing homework.

I really like Panera Bread. It is my favorite place for "fast food". Today I had one of my favorites; the Strawberry, Poppyseed Salad with Chicken. The full salad is huge. All of the fruit was fresh and tasted great. This Panera Bread is near ECU and is always full of college students. I also enjoy their bread and desserts. I had the blueberry scone today and it was very good.

First, the cashier at the drive thru was extremely rude, didn't ask me what I wanted to drink or sides or anything for that matter. I had to talk first. She then proceeded to roll her eyes when I asked for a water. She handed me the food, everything seemed in order... then I discovered how atrocious my food looked (see pic). No sauce, dry bread, contents of sandwich scattered everywhere. So pretty much I paid $20 dollars to have my afternoon ruined. Should have gone to noodles and company.

I don't understand why someone would just sling a cup of soup in a bag. Attached pic of spilled soup w bread covered!

Great food and fast take out service! Superb lunch spot in Greenville. Be sure to show up a bit before noon if you have a group. Yet to have something on the menu that I would not order a second time. Mangers will take care of you of it if you ask!

    Delicious!

The other really nice thing was that everyone working there seemed happy to be doing their job. This is rare these days. In addition, they have gluten free options! Personal pizza to vegetable and rice noodles to give options for once to those avoiding wheat. I even saw a beautiful fish plate piled on grilled veggies for those watching the carbs. I watched those carbs flow right into my mouth and they were worth every one I ate! Also very reasonable on prices.Very busy for a Thursday night so you may want to go early.

We were seated quickly enough but the tables are set up so that some tables have chairs set so your back is directly in front of someone else's chair sideways. So, the diner sitting behind me stared at my back the entire time they were there. I just found this the most awkward of arrangements I've ever seen in a restaurant. I ordered a water & baked ziti with meatballs. When my lunch arrived I thought the meatballs looked dry but after tasting them, while they did look dry on the outside, they were moist and tasted delicious. The rest of the entree was a disappointment. I didn't feel as though there was enough sauce on the ziti, it tasted overcooked and the layers of cheese on top had baked too long. So long it was hard to break off and enjoy in one bite - ziti, meatball and cheese all in one taste. The toasted bread needed more butter as it was just dry toast to me. I had plenty of leftovers and tried to pawn them off on my husband for dinner. While he did eat it all he also made mention that even after heating it up in the microwave, the cheese was still hard to eat. Our server either had too many tables or just doesn't believe in refilling water. I had hopes that if my glass only had ice in it she would take that as a hint to refill it. It was not to be and I had to hunt down a drink soon as we left the restaurant. All in all, this isn't a place I would return to. I liked the atmosphere and the transparent kitchen, it just isn't a place I would spend anymore money in.

The fruit cup looked like it had been frozen and had odd white specks all over it. Took that back to the front and got some Cheetos. Spring mix on my sandwich was absolutely foul - slimy and old. Cucumbers in the salad were so old they were wet and the one that got into my mouth was bitter and soft. When I brought that back to the manager there was no apology, no offer to make things right for a $14 sandwich/salad - just yelled back to the kitchen that they needed to throw those cucumbers away. There are really great McAlister's locations out there - this is not one of them. The place was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon, so I assume everyone else has already figured out what we learned: this location is poorly managed and has no quality control. You're better off lighting a $20 bill outside than spending it on food inside. BTW manager: we notified the health department that you're serving food that is unsafe to eat.
