I asked them if they had anymore cinnamon rolls and she had to go check and said that they had one left. I decided to get that as well as a drink. When I told the girl the drink I wanted she seemed really confused as if she didn't know what it was. The cinnamon roll was definitely pass for me. The icing was crunchy and the roll was not fresh at all. I'm sure it was old since it was the last one left. Definitely not worth the price. The coffee I got was good. After my last 2 orders I'm just embarrassed for Panera. My Mediterranean salad was $9 with no protein, 1 tbsp quinoa, 1 tbsp cheese, 3 olives, a tiny bit of cucumber. So confused how this is decent to offer to a customer for $9! PDQ and Chick-fil-A across the street offer amazing salads for $8. Then my previous chicken Southwest sandwich literally had a sliver of chicken, less than the amount you would offer a toddler. I can not support their salads or sandwiches. I've been here two days in a row now and sat for hours, as have many members of the community hit by Hurricane Helene and now without power and internet. Love this new location! So cool and very convenient! I'd give it 5 stars without hesitation - except that for a brand new place, they already have filthy bathrooms. Perhaps your day was awful when you walked in the door. No restaurant experience was going to fix that. Neither is submitting a bad review. If your experience was so bad that you think you need to submit a review saying the place should be closed and turned into a hooters, maybe you should reassess your purpose in life. Tonight was the first time I went to Panera on Pelham Road in Greenville, South Carolina in a very, very long time......I may never go back. If it were not for Quinton, the young man that was able to put my food in the bag for me I would not even leave a star. Thank you Quinton.! You were the only person that worked at Panera that spoke to me and that includes what appeared to be two managers in the front area that never registered seeing us. I understand that we are all going to self check out, etc. but I have never had to place an order before, so it was very frustrating not to know what to do and not have anyone at the front to tell me the direction I needed to take. if the young man and lady at the front were managers, they are urgent need of social skills. Quinton would be a better manager than the two individuals I saw running around like they were confused. Love the interior and exterior. I like how the breads are displayed at the front register so you can customize your sandwich based on what you see. I like that they have a self order section so you can make your own order on the tablet. I like the different seating space they have. They have a lounge/couch area, a community's area (where there is a big table and you can just sit together), the typical booths and tables. I like the food here a lot but they are pricey for what they are (soups, sandwiches, salads). The salads and sandwiches are around $10 for the full size. read more

I pulled in the drive thru and the lady came over the speaker and said "One Moment Please". Then she came back and said that "It would be 10 or 15 minutes before she could take my order because there was other people waiting". Panera waited an hour later until I got there and said I was there until calling and telling me they didn't have more than half of what I ordered. This store has the worst customer service ever. One morning I got stuck in their drive-thru line (behind the one car at the window) for over 15 minutes. To avoid being late for work, I had to exit my car in the pouring rain and ask the person behind me to back up so I could leave. I don't know why an employee didn't ask the person at the window (who appeared to be picking up an office-sized coffee and pastry order) to park in another spot so the line could start moving. On March 13, I ordered in-store pickup through the app. When I arrived, I got a text saying my order was ready. However, it wasn't on the pickup shelf or counter. I waited 5 minutes, but nothing showed. For another 10 minutes, I tried to get the attention of a woman behind the pickup counter making sandwiches. She refused to make eye contact and deleted my name from the "ready for pickup" list, and another employee walked by 2-3 times and stared at me without asking if I needed help. Finally, I went to the front counter and saw that, as usual, no employee was at the front counter to greet/help customers. I called back to someone working a ways back and explained. She went over and remade my order. While waiting, I set my drink on the pick-up counter, and the woman who'd ignored me the entire time finally spoke to me, asking me to move my drink. There were no signs saying I couldn't do that, and I've seen others do the same thing. Being scolded and condescended to by this woman who'd ignored me AND deleted my order without placing it on the shelf or handing it to me is why I'll never visit this Panera again. read more

I ordered three things from here, one of them being a flat bread. I went to go pick it up and once I got back home, I realized there was no flatbread in the bag. I called to ask if I could be refunded, and was at first hung up on. I called again and they finally pick up and go "your flatbread was in the bag on top we cannot refund you", but there was no bag on top. There were only two bags on the pick up area, and the other one did not have my name on it. After the rude lady told me this, she proceeded to hang up on me while I was talking to her. This Panera Bread location is down the street from NHC Healthcare Greenville where my mother is a resident. My mother is delighted to come here to eat the macaroni and cheese and chicken noodle soup. Melissa, the manager onsite every time we visit, works very hard to make sure we have what we need. In fact, I have watched her during Sunday lunch at the pick up counter and walking to each table to see if she can help anyone. The food has been delicious. And I love the clean open seating as well. The food is good I'll give them that. But I have a 30 minute break and when 20 minutes of that 30 minute break is spent waiting for my food it kind of ruins it. I don't even have time to eat the food I've just paid for. I'm spending 12$ on a bowl of Mac n cheese and a cookie and don't even get a chance to eat more than 2 bites before my break is over. I've worked fast food before and if our wait times were more than 5 minutes we got in trouble so I think this place needs better management. It's hard to recommend this place when I barely get time to eat if I choose to come here. I've also been to other Panera bread locations and NONE of them have EVER taken this long. read more

I see my 2 previous reviews have been removed. In them I complained about bad service, dirty tables and empty coffee dispensers. On my recent visit, I find the service much improved. The tables are quickly wiped, but they are left pretty wet. I recommend the cleaners wipe them off again with a dry towel....and wipe the vinyl seats that are often dirty. Two of us went for lunch there a couple of days ago and was fairly shocked at the price. Two half sandwiches, a soft drink, and two cookies cost $24. read more
