This location gets something wrong with the order 95% of the time. If I'm not missing a side I'm missing utensils or sometimes half the meal. Constantly left bummed and annoyed. read more

This was the nicest Panera I've actually ever been to, very clean and plenty of seating areas. They have the touchscreen tablets to order which is nice to see visuals of all the food and drink options I might not have otherwise considered. I got the spicy chicken sandwich that has the fried pickles, absolutely amazing and my wife got a turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich which she gets regularly and has never failed her. She also got the the blueberry peach smoothie which was very fresh and satisfying, I got one of the teas and lemonade they had for refill which is my new favorite drink. Not too many healthy quick spots in the area so I am glad this is here, even more convenient with the drive through window. read more

Panera bread used to be so delicious, but I feel like you're paying way more but getting so little food back. For a small salad, its $9 is crazy. The caprese sandwich tasted ok, and the caesar salad without chicken was yummy. This will be a once in a blue moon stop. read more

Fantastic food!!! Very quiet restaurant with nice people who work there! We ordered a half Italian sandwich and a "two for" combo with chicken chipotle / mexican salad (something like that) with Mexican street corn soup. It all was fantastic. We ended up paying right at 25 for lunch. Not bad for fresh ingredients and good food. We will be back to the exit 190 Grovetown location. read more

Wasn't feeling well the other night and wanted soup for dinner. Upon walking in it smelled absolutely devine. Who doesn't like the smell of freshly baked bread and cookies. They were making cinnamon rolls, and we got one, it was delicious! I ordered the chicken and wild rice soup and my husband ordered the Mexican corn chowder. Both soups were delicious however, they were out of baguettes but they did give us a slice of tomato adagio bread in its place (because my husband asked for a substitute). We came today and ordered some soup, an extra baguette and a smoothie. The smoothie just tasted off and it really wasn't pleasant. My husband went in, and asked them to change the flavor to a strawberry banana because the mango was off for both of us. He came back with a barely "blended" smoothie in a cup that was 3/4, if that, full. I told him to take it back in and just get a refund. Honestly, there are 4 cars total in front and I don't see anything going on in the drive thru. Soup was good a usual, I mean you can't mess up the soup if it comes bagged, but the baguettes were soft and giant. My husband comes back after someone else helped him with the refund and even they said that it didn't look blended or right at all. I love coming here to study and eat. The high top tables make it easier for me to stand while I study since I have lots of neck and back pain. I also love how clean the restaurant is. No debris. Tables are clean. The huge dining room never fills up so I always find seating. It's very quiet so if you need a place to turn down in, read a book, study, etc, this is a good spot. I gave it 4 stars because I come here all the time and the environment is perfect, the staff is pleasant, and it's honestly near my home. I deducted a star because the temperature is always so cold (I'm hot natured btw!) and sometimes, customers have to call out "hello?" for an employee to assist them. Maybe a bell that says "ring for service?" They don't have a TON of foot traffic so I can see why the front counter isn't being staffed at all times, but the awareness of front counter could improve. read more

Panera has to do better.. I don't eat pork. I ordered a turkey and cheddar sandwich. Got home.. boom BACON. I called and someone said refunds take up to 10 business days or you can come back. Annoyed I go back.. with the sandwich. I tell the young lady at the front hey my sandwich has bacon on it. She says "did you call and did she write her name down?" Granted the answer to those questions are yes but wth.. if I hadn't it shouldn't matter because the sandwich was with me with the dry slabs of bacon front and center. As a college student of the early to mid 2000's, I will always have a special place in my heart for Panera Bread. This one is pretty awesome with some serious upgrades. In fact, whoever designed this space should be hired to go figure out how to make the corner of Lewiston and William Few more efficient. Is this an unrelated rant?! Yes, maybe but seriously folks it's a yield sign that turns into its own lane that if you understand what a solid white line means you know you never have to fully stop. Simply yield and throw on the left turn signal and when the line is dotted, proceed to merge. Back to the bread. This is what I imagined happened: Customers: We want a drive thru, we want plenty of parking, a patio with umbrellas, a fireplace, boutique-looking pasty displays, an app where I can order my food ahead of time, a special spot to pick up my pre-ordered food with a big screen that shows my name, staff members to take my order, touch screens so I don't have to talk to anyone and can still order, plenty of outlets everywhere, deliciously fresh food, cushy booth seating, free WiFi (weefee if you like), coffee, smoothies, high chairs and big bathrooms. (Flinches in anticipation because we may have gone too far with requests). Panera: Okay, sounds great! Done and done. Yep, this Panera has it all...even (clutches chest) the 2000's playlist that includes John Mayer and Chasing Cars. I may go and get some side bangs and low rise pants. Every single time we come here they never have what we want to order. No bread bowls available, not the right bread for the sandwiches, and out of ingredients like avocado and bacon. It's so frustrating and it's every. single. time. I understand that they only pull out a set amount for the day but clearly that needs to change. It is 5:30. Panera is usually our go to and it never disappoints. The half strawberry salad is delicious- they add a generous amount of nuts and berries which makes the perfect blend of salty and sweet! Green goddess salad is also one of our favorites! Grab a candied cookie while you are there! They are a must try! The Grovetown location is pretty clean and there are spots inside that allow for people to do work whether it's on the phone or computer! Also a great spot to enjoy a book! It's been a while and I remember why. They're still horrible. This time I also ordered through the app. What I didn't know was there must've been a glitch and it put in the general half dozen instead of saving the manually put in Asiago's. Person at the window is already rude af when she opens it because I didn't check in at the speaker ( app said to just go to window). Heck, she was rude af before opening the window and clearly considered being petty and letting me wait ( it's a window..I can see you and your attitude). She grabbed two random bagels and puts them in my bag before opening the window and telling me they didn't have the all season bagels I ordered. I tell her that I didn't order those. She waved the receipt in my face and tells me she can show me. At this point I'm nicer than her but my face is definitely showing I'm done with the attitude. I try telling her again I didn't order that and I ordered this and she waved it again going "I mean we can do it but I can SHOW you" so I'm done and say "please just cancel my order at this point". She says "GLADLY" and walks away with..you know..more attitude. Did she cancel my order so I could get my money back? Of course she didn't. Will I be coming here ever again? Definitely not. My husband and I went to Panera after church Sunday night 12/12/21. Our daughter and her family were right behind us. We interacted with 5 employees. The first was a young lady at the register who was very friendly and started taking our order. She asked if our order was for dine in or carry out. Right before she asked that question, a second young lady came up to the register with a broom or mop in her hand and said "you can't eat it here. You will have to get it to go." When my husband asked why she stated "we close at 8:00." It was only 7:40 and my husband said "ok, well, it's only 7:40." She got a very disgusted look on her face and walked away shaking her head. The first young lady at the cash register was a little confused about what to do. A third young lady came up and asked her what was wrong. She responded she was waiting for the second girl to come back and tell her what to do. The third lady told her to finish our order, which she did. The second lady came back, threw her hand up in the air and said "they can stay" without looking at us. She walked away quickly. While we waiting for our order, we were called back by a 4th lady wearing a white shirt. She was very friendly and told us they didn't have any baguettes. We told her that was fine and walked away waiting for our order. She was very apologetic, but we told her we completely understood and we were good with it. In the meantime, our daughter and her family walked in and placed their order. After they completed their order, the 2nd young lady said "do I need to remind you we close at 8:00?" Then - as we were eating our meal, a young man kept walking around the area we were sitting. Just watching us. We saw him stand at one table and spray and wipe it three times - all the time looking at us and then looking back towards the area the others were working. The 4th lady with the white shirt called him off saying "we are going to do some training." I have never had any restaurant employee treat my family as badly as two of these individuals treated us. And we spent almost $70! For soup and sandwiches!! And they tagged on an additional $2 tip and didn't say a word about it! I will admit, I was afraid the 2nd lady may have spit in our soup. Praying she didn't, but this entire situation made me loose my desire to eat at Panera in Grovetown, GA, ever again! read more

Rude workers. Went to go get 4 Greek yogurts and they gave absolutely no yogurt in the container. Very ridiculous and upsetting. Ordered curbside pickup via app. Usually works great. Not today. I click "I'm here" and wait. And wait. And wait some more. Look at the app to see if maybe it didn't take but no, my order actually now shows as fulfilled instead of "we'll be right out". So clearly someone saw it and clicked fulfilled on their end. So I park in the spare curbside spot right in front of the door where I'm seen better..just in case they forgot, although the place is empty except for on person. So it's not like they're busy. After 15 min of waiting I end up going through the drive through and she tried telling me that's what I have to do. Huh? Alright, little miffed now but it's done. So let's grab one of the half dozen bagels I ordered. Every bagel ( dry, just toasted and sliced) is individually wrapped in paper. Wtf. Might as well have put the warm bagels in a plastic bag, because they sure won't taste toasted anymore, just a soggy mess. And I now have a literal bag full of trash on my hands after unwrapping every soggy bagel. Let's please not do that again. Do better. read more
