Chicken noodle soup and turkey BLTA
    Olivia S.

I like Panera and this location is pretty solid. My turkey BLTA was not particularly generously filled, but it still scratched the itch I guess. I think I will go with a salad next time. The place itself was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

I ordered a steak sandwich and a teriyaki chicken bowl over door dash since me and my girlfriend have to be quarantined due to covid contact tracing. Not only was the door dash driver very late but the food was horrendous. The sandwich which was supposed to come with a ciabatta roll, onions and cheese topped with horseradish was actually a few small pieces of steak on floppy white bread from a grocery store with a disgusting amount of horse radish, One onion, and cheese on the one corner where there was no other ingredients. I broke out the scale and it weighed as much as a McDonalds cheese burger but costs 12 hard earned, much needed dollars. The teriyaki chicken was half the amount of food you get from chipotle bowls but costs 2-3 dollars more plus tax. I called panera afterwards to get my money back for the sandwich and to my surprise they said they would take the whole order off my cardI was psyched. If its free its good to me. But I just checked my bank account and they charged me for full price of the meal. Never giving my money and would highly recommend staying away from this location. Ps if you want panera just lookup any recipe and make it yourself because even the least experienced cook can make better food for less

The food is pretty good! I love the smoothies and soups from there. I lost a Louis Vuitton wallet a couple days ago without noticing. I received an email from them asking me to go pick it up cuz they saw my school ID in the wallet!!!!!!!! It is so nice of them to reach out.

Broccoli Cheddar in a bread bowl

This is my first time at this Panera Bread. This place is pretty big and there's plenty of seating. I have tried Panera Bread in Chicago and in Boston. I always have been a fan of their bagels. This time I didn't buy any bagels. I ordered the Broccoli Cheddar soup in a bread bowl. It comes with a side and I chose potato chips. The soup was very good and I recommend it.

I don't care about this chain, or the menu for the most part, but the bacon, egg, and cheeses on their bread makes my morning everytime. Bread is always good, the cheese actually has some flavor, and the eggs are cooked well. The better choice for the breakfast sandwich. I'd choose them over, McDonald's Dunkin Donuts, or Burger King breakfast anyday.

Significantly better black coffee (at least the light roast I had) than the overpriced places in Northampton at half the cost.

For a café with more serving space than cooking space, you'd think they couldn't pack a punch, but…read morethey do. The café here, West Street Coffee & Tea, uses their square footage to pack a few tables, and a bookshelf or two with possibly the proprietor's gifted collection for customers to read. The West Street Coffee & Tea helps you feel at home stopping in for some coffee, a selection of a quick breakfast sandwich, a pastry from the bakery across the parking lot, or some other treat. I have enjoyed a quality and consistency of service, not only filling out punches on my loyalty card, but appreciating both my drinks and my meal. The kitchen staff has served me quickly when they are not my talented cashier and barista as well--though do consider this a compliment worth tipping the staff for their ability to know how to run a café in part or in whole. The West Street Coffee & Tea boasts a humble parking lot, but the sizable line of parking spaces allows cars to park and then usually drive forward to depart. This fits that the five to six tables are set well in each of the rooms they rest, with ample light from the interior and exterior. I could imagine the drink staff would keep up with a variety of orders that are park and departing, so be mindful that there is parking at other corners of the plaza rotary on busy hours like at other restaurants within Amherst. Busses do travel by, and I'd suppose those from the PVTA that go between Amherst and Hampshire might even stop here. For a quite accessible location, I can only imagine they enjoy being a secret delight of this area of south and east Amherst.

Eating in their food area, making a food order with their cashier, or even using their digital menu, all are friendly, comfortable, and accommodating. They serve halal meats, too, which eases my conscience and my ordering options from their menu, including fresh and crispy french fries. What sets this place apart from a local or fast food burger joint, however, is the love for the experience of their food that Royal Chicken & Kebab offers. Receiving your food order from them is a delight. From the way each meal is wrapped, boxed, or sealed, to the way their burgers and subs look unwrapped. I recall the days I used to enjoy a messy local Philly Cheesesteak sub at whatever local sandwich shop I would be at, where the price wasn't about the love and care specifically, as there needed to be an overwhelming level of meat--like, get yourself dirty on a date level as the wrapper was soggy and flowing with cheese. That is part of a local Philly cheese experience, and here, I felt the love for the flavors brought to a wider community, if not the whole world. Here, our local cooks and chefs still make a sub full of steak, cheese, and peppers, but just enough to fit neatly and appealingly within their foil wraps. Each bite of the slightly warm and crispy bun reveal to me how much I still love the flavors of the experience, and don't need the sub to be my only sustenance. You can get your meal with a side of fries and a drink, for example. Royal Chicken & Kebab has a welcoming atmosphere, attention to detail in the quality of their meals, and has yet to let me down in price or service. I could see anyone, from families, to groups of friends late at night enjoying a meal here. Thank you for your work, Royal!

Flayvors of Cook Farm is a farm-based ice cream shop that combines homemade ice cream with a…read morerelaxed countryside setting. We walked up to a spot where the experience feels different from a typical ice cream stop because you are surrounded by farmland, open views, and even the cows that contribute to the farm's products. The environment is just as much a part of the visit as the dessert itself, with picnic tables scattered across the grass and a view of the fields stretching out beyond the parking area. The biggest highlight for us was the ice cream itself. The texture is creamy and rich without feeling overly heavy, and there is a good balance between classic flavors and more unique seasonal options. We tried a few of the creative flavors and found them to be what makes the shop stand out, with choices that you would not normally find at a standard ice cream shop. The more unusual options were interesting to sample, while the traditional flavors were still strong enough to keep coming back for. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ice cream felt consistent across the different scoops we ordered. The farm setting adds another layer to the experience. Sitting outside and enjoying ice cream while looking out over the fields makes it feel more like a destination rather than just grabbing dessert. We noticed families settling in at the picnic tables, kids running around the grass, and a general sense of calm that you do not get at a typical scoop shop. It is also a nice spot for families since there is more to see than just the ice cream counter, with the farm animals and open space giving the visit a fuller feel. The main thing to consider is that it can get busy, especially during warmer weather and peak dessert hours. The lines move at a reasonable pace, but the popularity means it may take longer during the busiest times. Parking and seating can also become more limited when the farm is crowded, so arriving earlier or visiting on a weekday can make the experience smoother. Flayvors of Cook Farm is one of those places where the location, atmosphere, and food all work together. The ice cream is the main reason to visit, but the farm setting makes the experience feel more memorable than a regular dessert stop. It is the kind of place that fits naturally into a warm afternoon outing, offering a treat that feels rooted in its surroundings.
