I had a spicy breakfast sandwich in a jalapeño bagel. It was a decent flavor, but wasn't very spicy. My friend got a coconut lemonade spritzer but it honestly tasted like coffee. LOVE Tandem, but very sad about my smoothie this morning. I usually go to Tropical Smoothie, but I decided to try something more holistic. I got the Green Goodness smoothie. It was a BEAUTIFUL color, however..... this was blended bananas with some milk. Literally straight bananas. I don't think anything else was put into the smoothie besides bananas. It was gelatinous and not very cold. I tried to get through it, but ultimately had to throw it away. $9! That's too bad. read more

We decided to get breakfast from here one day so we ordered online and went to pick it up. I got the spicy egg sandwich on a garlic bagel, which comes with jalapenos, spinach, bacon, cheddar, and chipotle mayo. I didn't get it with bacon, and didn't substitute it with anything else. It was good, but it did feel like it was missing something. I loved all the options for bagel and cream cheese flavors, and would've loved to try their double olive or jalapeno cream cheese. Unexpectedly in Springfield and needed a caffeine hit. I randomly found Tandem Bagel. Instead of a bagel I had an apple bacon scone. The scone was served quickly when I paid but I had to wait forever for the drip coffee. Lots of workers behind the counter that didn't seem to be in sync. We used Tandem to cater a brunch. I cannot say enough about how great everything was! The bagels came sliced and fresh, the lox platters were beautiful and inviting. Fresh fruit was cut perfectly and well ripened, just right! The hummus was greatly enjoyed along with the veggie platter it came with. The catering person( whose name escapes me) was wonderfully communicative and professional. The food which we opted to have delivered, came 15 minutes early and was thoughtfully all carried and placed on the tables. I cannot say enough about how great Tandem was to work with. read more

GREAT BAGELS and will continue to go to the West Springfield store but probably not as often (2x week) as they are pricing themselves out of my market.....2 breakfast sandwiches and a lemonade for $36 and change. I ordered my food (asking with no egg because of allergies) and then he comes out of the kitchen with attitude telling me he can't make my bagel anymore because somebody else ordered it before me... We reside not far from this new location which opened up across the street from the U.S. Post Office and is around the corner from Town Hall and the West Springfield Police Dept. There is ample parking for free on the street directly outside of Tandem Bagels. Or, you can park on the street around the corner with a 30 Minute Limit. Staff here is young and polite and they show a willingness to work. The Bagels were pretty good and good in size as well. Price was fair for what they give you. Per the staff, they start preparing Bagels around 1:00 AM EST in their South Hadley, MA location and then they load them up in their trucks and deliver them to the other locations in the region. It's a cool inside, comparable to a Starbucks with clean lines, clean interior and also spacious interior. Stop by and order some Bagels and eat there or take some To Go. These Bagels make great Tuna Fish or Chicken Salad Sandwiches. Also, you can cook up some Eggs, Cheese, Ham or whatever you want and make your own Breakfast Sandwich that none of the Fast Food Places can compete with. If you know what you are doing and don't burn your home down. If you don't know what you are doing in the Kitchen, get these people to do it for you. They will gladly do so! read more

just dined here and had a very bad experience. while ordering, ani s took about 10 minutes to take an order for two bagels with cream cheese and two coffees. she asked me how I would like my bagel toasted (???). she could not figure out how to use their system and kept adding things to our order that we did not ask for. she then proceeded to ask me three (3) times how to spell my name. I have a rather simple name, and I spelt it out for her each time. when they FINALLY called my order, after a long wait, my name was spelled incredibly wrong on my coffee. minutes later, my bagel order was ready and my name was yet again spelled wildly incorrectly (a different spelling than on my coffee).
