Had a wonderful lunch there with my wife. I had the half-sandwich and cup of soup (the corn chowder was scrumptious)., wie had a salad. We were delighted with the menu choices, courtesy and friendliness of the staff, and speed of deliver of our meals to our table. I had ordered "Honey-bun" with my meal; but forgot about it and left it on the table when we were leaving. One of the staff chased us into the parking lot and "delivered" the forgotten roll. Not the Panera I used to love. We called in the order and were promised quick pickup because of a baby in the car, only to find out we can't pay in the drive thru. Then, we were told we couldn't just walk in and pick it up, but rather needed to wait in line with other walk in customers. The person up front wasn't helpful. The manager knew the problem is a recurring one but wasn't readily helpful either. The food tasted great, but the "experience" of Panera is why we used to go, and that was seriously lacking in this store. This is bound to get better with time. It can't get much worse. Need to stick this restaurant back in the oven and let it cook a little longer. read more

I ordered the rapid pick up from her for my coworkers and I one day and I was impressed that it was ready before the pick up time. I was not impressed that I was missing items from my order and that I had to wait in line for 10 minutes before getting my missing items replaced and getting attitude from the cashiers. Usually I like Panera, but having cold food from here is not good. Every time I've been in something has been missing and the bad service is why I probably won't be going back. The food is good, but not enough to counteract the back experience. Don't waste your time coming here. read more

I think the first lesson we learned here is to not come to Panera for dinner, it is definitely better for lunch. This meal was a let down though. I got the turkey avocado BLT and it was ALL avocado. The tomato slices were too thick and they were the ends of the tomato. Also the avocado was sliced extremely thick too. To make it worse, most of the avocado was stacked up in one spot of the sandwich. Next time just stick with their safe soups and Mac & cheese. You can't fail there. Ive been here two times, and I won't be back to this location. The food was great, but the employees, were not helpful and were not very attentive for being a new place. The tables were all dirty and when my husband asked the waitress to clean it up, we received attitude, dirty look and she actually made a comment to us. Upon looking at my receipt closely, I noticed a .99 charge for undecided. I went up to the counter and asked what it was for, the girl said for a bakery item. I didn't order any bakery item, so how many other times have they done this? There are only kids working there, that obviously don't care to work there. Our family has always loved Panera, and we're really happy there is one just 2 miles away now. We're in there at least once a week, and the food has been consistently very good (what you expect from any Panera). Yes, when they first opened it was noticeably slow operationally while the counter staff was getting trained. That has seemed to go away now, and honestly it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. Tonight the drive through DID take exceptionally long, even given their made-to-order service. The food and staff at this Panera location is amazing. My daughter and I were visiting the area for several weeks and visited three times. On the second visit, Alex approached us at our table and asked if we needed anything. He was so friendly and we really enjoyed talking to him. About one week later, we walked in with our masks on and he recognized us and welcomed us back. My daughter had a really tough week and she left Panera feeling so much better because of him. The person who took our order was also very kind. The food was perfect and I'm sad to be leaving the area. We will be back in December! read more

Me and my mother went here when it first opened and we were so excited to try it because we've heard nothing but good things about this company. But we were disappointed.. the prices were sky high and the food wasn't even that good. We got a few sandwiches and soup combos and it wasn't anything special. Hard bread, not very good flavor or ingredients , and old tasting soup. Too bad... we spent a ton of money and we didn't leave full or satisfied... threw most of it away.... I normally like to go to Panera bread the customer service is usually good and the food is great. The only complaint right now is because of one girl at the window. I wish I had her name because her attitude was absolutely terrible. She was rude taking the order, and she was rude when she gave me my food. No "hello how are you", and when she handed me my food she literally shoved it towards me and then slammed the window shut, no "thank you have a good day". I have visited Panera Bread in other communities, but the one in Hayden, ID, where I recently moved, needs some attention. I love to frequent a restaurant that has friendly and upbeat personnel, service with a smile, and not be taken for granted as a customer. Also, important is COFFEE... NOT lukewarm and help yourself and by the way, heat up in the microwave your coffee and dessert choices. Often love to hold meetings in places like Panera, and will try again, hoping that my last several visits do not now reflect my previous thoughts. read more

I went to Panera bread yesterday with a friend and had a great half sandwich with a bowl of autumn squash soup. The sandwich was overflowing with Turkey, apple and other things. It was moist and hearty. Afterwards, I had a bear claw that was out of this world! It was moist, as well, And so flavorful! Not heavy and Tasteless like a lot of donuts are. The help was patient and helpful while we made our decisions. And we took advantage of some of their special deals when you buy gift cards. Well my first review was much better, unfortunately it has gone downhill from there. I go all the time for a bagel on my way to work and it is now almost always burnt or sliced so terribly (or both) just frustrating. I feel like if you are offering to slice and toast, you could take 2 seconds and do it the right way instead of just doing a crappy job. This Panera location is awesome. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I showed up in the drive thru this morning 40 minutes before they opened, because I failed to pay attention to the large, posted signs, lol but they took care of me anyway! I offered to come back but the kind soul working the window assured me it was no trouble at all and the awesome people in back prepared my order. Wow. The service at this place is 'off the chart' bad! I have been in twice and talked with 5 different associates, so it's not like someone received horrible service once and flew off the handle in their review. These teenagers honestly must have had training to ignore and annoy the customer with their lack of care and customer service skills. You cannot find people off the street who are this inept. You would literally have to train them to be devoid of all common sensibilities. Terms like "Can I Help You?" "Have You Been Helped?" Forget about it. You wonder how this restaurant ever opened a second store? We got a $3 off coupon and even with that it was almost $14 for a HALF Sandwich and a Salad. Really?? Stupid us. I have been to plenty Panera locations to know that this one is awful! The sandwiches are very light on the meat. And most things taste like a microwaved gas station sandwich or pasta from a deli case. Hopefully this location gets better. I wouldn't say that any Panera is worth 5 stars though. read more

We have been using different businesses for curbside food and groceries during Covid. We have experienced mixed results in the community. However, Panera has consistently met the challenge. I must say that I was anxiously awaiting the opening of this restaurant up here in Hayden, but after visiting twice now and waiting almost 10 minutes in the drive-through both times, I'll head across the street to Starbucks where service is fast and convenient. I wouldn't mind paying the higher prices for their product if the wait time in the drive-through wasn't so ridiculous. I didn't come to the restaurant when busy, it was 7:00AM in the morning, no one in the lobby and 3 cars in front of me when ordering...Still took forever so I'll be visiting local coffeeshops after these two experiences... read more

We came here to visit Silverwood and have a 5 hour drive back to western Washington, we stopped in the morning to get 5 boxed lunches and a sandwich for the drive home, the customer service was excellent, very nice staff, I would recommend this place to everyone. Have always had a pretty good experience with Panera until last night. Went thru the drive- thru and placed an order. Not only did it take an looooooong time-/ ( the employee apologized) but when we got home and opened the bag, both orders were wrong. Panera was sooo good and now it is soooo bad. Overall the food is always very good! Anytime we have gone in to eat we enjoy nice service. I noticed if we sit and order from the table on the app it is a much more enjoyable experience verse standing in line and ordering. I would love to give this place a 5 star but what knocks it down for me is they don't have many vegan options and every time we have ordered ahead of time for pick-up they messed up the order. Penera met our expectations. Couldn't have asked for better service. Staff was friendly courteous and ever willing to help. After an amazing lunch with my husband the only thing that I might mention is they do not take phone orders to go and online ordering can be difficult. It really is that bad :( I didn't dare try the drive thru after reading the reviews, so I dined inside. i'm not sure who they have hiring and training the staff, but they need to up their game significantly. The staff was pretty impolite... just kind of short with the customers. The wait was long about 20 minutes. I also got a deflated soufflé that was under 98.7 degrees, because it was cool to the touch. I nuked it without asking lol. However, I did ask for napkins because they were out of napkins at the station and the girl huffed deeply and slowly sighed... "follow me". It was obvious I was a YUGE INCONVENIENCE. I had to follow her to the food counter where she brought me 2 paper napkins for me and my 4 children. I just went back to my table in defeat and I asked the next guy that passed by for some more napkins. He was really cool and just brought me a handful. Overall, I am so disappointed. I was really looking forward to having a Panera near by for healthy fastish food on the go. The last time I went to Panera was in Olympia about 6 months ago, and it was awesome. We were so happy that Panera Bread opened a store in Hayden! Sad, however, that twice now we've been given expired cream cheese. After the first time, I called management, and they said to come in and they would give me half a dozen bagels and cream cheese if I returned it. Now, just a few weeks later, the same thing happened. This time, we ordered 6 bagels and 2 honey walnut cream cheese. One was dated Jan 2017 and the other 12/22/16. Why does Panera keep doing this? This time when I return the cream cheese, can I get a dozen bagels and 3 cream cheeses? read more

Unlike the experiences of some other reviewers the drive through was fast and workers were polite. The sandwiches are kind of expensive for what you get. Spent $20 on for two sandwiches and a soup. My wife had a half steak and cheese with french onion soup which she though was pretty good but not great. I ordered the chipotle chicken avocado and they were nice enough to make it extra special for me. A nice long blonde F&$#ing hair. You suck Panera Bread. You owe me $9 read more
