Panera is overpriced and overrated in my book. Everything on the menu sounds so good but some items are executed poorly. Service is good even when they're busy and they have some hot employees too. Technically it's a counter service but they deliver to your table to give you the impression of full service. Atmosphere is great. Selection of coffee and breads/pastries is excellent and they do have some healthy choices. I would totally open one though because every time I go there all I see is yuppie money flying in every direction. Seems like a decent study spot if you get an area in the corner read more

I work near Panera Bread by the Southland Mall. Every time I go in there they are very rude. They never smile and are never very friendly. The bagels and pastry items are good and that is the only reason I go in there. The staff however is horrible. They need to work on customer service skills. The Panera in Dublin where I live is always friendly and there bakery items are equally as tasty. read more

i found a new study spot close to home, YAY!!! this review isnt really on the food, but more the environment for studying and the customer service. but i will say their food is a little bit pricey. that is all. so, all the other times i went to panera, which is a LONG time ago, i never really noticed if our service was exceptional, but i figure, if i dont remember, it probably wasnt that great. However, on a recent visit last tuesday night, i came in, ordered a sandwich and coffee and took up a whole booth all to my little self (just because there was an outlet under the table and all the other tables with outlets were occupied), i felt completely comfortable and the workers didnt make me feel bad for taking up a big booth when i was all alone. The one worker there, she was an older blonde, probably the manager since she was telling the workers who was going on break and when, was SUPERDUPER NICE!!! she saw that i was waiting for the booth, and wouldnt let me put my stuff down till she wiped it down, even tho there wasnt any crap on the table. And even though i ordered my sandwich to-go with no intention of leaving, she still delivered it to my table with a smile. she was just so NICE! i cant stress that enough. haha. also, the guy calling out people's names was yelling "So-and-so, come on down to the price is right!" just thought it was funny... corny but funny. So from about 7-845 i was on my computer trying to study, when at around 830, another worker came around with a plate of giant chocolate chip cookies, offering them to people at each table individually, for FREE!!! you cant beat free!! i'm guessing the cookies would have gone to waste otherwise, but still... i went to panera to study, and i got a free cookie for staying. as charlie sheen would say, "WINNING!!!!" haha. Panera is definitely where ill be going for studying this coming quarter. its so close to home, and the staff are super welcoming and friendly. read more

I love Panera! Especially this location. Employees are always polite, courteous, and well informed. They have the best potato chips ever! It's cooked in sunflower oil so its healthier than your average chips. If you want a quick healthy meal (with dressing on the side) and a place to study come here. read more

I would not normally choose to be in this area but bf had to be somewhere near here so I decided to check out panera while I waited for him. I've never been to a panera before as I'm rather devoted to my Starbucks but I'm glad I went in. The spinach artichoke souffle was excellent. The pastries/food available kind of reminded me of a La Boulange but had more variety. I love all the choices! My latte was good too. I wanted to try more things but the souffle was very rich and filled me up. There's also a fireplace and free wifi. Best of all are the many varied seating choices...booth, table, comfy chairs, and even some laptop booths. Wow! This is the kind of place you are happy to be "stuck" waiting for your bf. If you want to go inside, this is the place...if you want a drive through, it's still gonna have to be Starbucks. read more

Worst experience ever! I get there today at 9:30 and order my food to dine in. 10 mins pass, 12 mins pass ,15 mins pass , 20 mins pass and nothing ( This normally doesn't happen). So I ask a girl that was cleaning, if she could help me since I've been waiting for my food for a while plus I order my food on the kiosk ( I thought that it maybe didn't go thru) That had me worried. Rudely she replies : "We are about to close so I don't know if they are getting your food ready, plus am the one that brings the food to the table and don't see anything there". She then went to the counter acting like she was checking on my order ( Yeah right ). She comes back to me and says " They are making something but am not sure if its yours" Wow...Ok!! (Really!!!!) . Now this is what you call great service. She ignores me and starts to clean. A few minutes later I get up and see my plate finally in the counter to be serve to me. I waited as normal to get the food served to my table and nothing. So I got up to get it ( Not a big deal). I then notice I didn't get my pastry. So I came up to the kitchen to nicely ask for my pastry, I was told they would check ( The girl at the kitchen was nice). All of a sudden the manager comes up and says: " Sorry we don't have the pastry you order!!!!! ( That had to be cherry on top). I told him I had paid for a pastry to at least give me another pastry ( I just felt I was not going get anything for my money, so not right ) At the end he gave me a cookie. I understand is Friday and everyone wants to go home. I just don't think is fair if you arrive 30 minutes before to be treated wrong. If you really don't want to deal with customers before closing, just say that you are not serving food after a certain time, or put a sign on the door. Panera is not a cheap cafe to eat at, If am paying for good quality food I expect the same on customer service. read more

Gotta love Panera Bread. From the bagels, to the salads and sandwiches, everything I've tried here is great. The best bagel so far is the Cinnamon Crunch. It is heavenly! For lunch, my fave is the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad - so so good. The people here are very friendly and it's a comfy place to enjoy your meal. read more

I am not a chain-store fan. I have not been impressed with the coffee (tastes stale with grind inside) or shortbread cookie (rancid) here. Today was another day eOn was packed, so I came in and was not very happy to see 5 employees chatting behind the counter. My tea got cold quickly as the cold air kept circulating around the store. Up this point, my experience rating was 3 stars (easy parking, okay tea, and free wi-fi.) Then, this worker, Edison, came and started asking all the customers if everything was okay. Two minutes after I made a comment on the cold air, the fan was turned off and heater was on. A few more minutes later, he came to check back. That's an extra star earned! read more

Yum, yum, yum. I've never been one to eat a salad as a meal but Panera really got me hooked. The fuju apple, asian chicken, and strawberry chicken poppyseed salads were my go tos and they were pretty filling. I took away a star for some mistakes that they seem to make pretty regularly. Ive gotten the wrong soup in my to go order so I didnt notice it until i got home. The soup they gave me was this lemon chicken orzo when i ordered the corn chowder. I tried it and it wasn't very good (just not my taste) so it went in the garbage. Last time i went in i asked ifthey had the strawberry chicken salad because i noticed the signage was down. The cashier said yes and took my order and my husbands, asked if i wanted to use my reward, i said yes. She then informed me that they didnt have the salad i wanted. I felt like i had to decide quick because a line was building behind me. (That's why i asked about it before placing my order...) then she didnt use my reward because she forgot. I work in customer service/food. I don't like to make people wait... Just trying to help you out, you should know if you stop serving the limited promotional item. Last, i was sitting on the patio trying to enjoy my lunch when all I could focus on was 2 employees discussing the ins and outs of the drama at work. One must have been off and the other on a break because when the break was done, another person came out on break and the employee proceeded to gossip about work with the next person. My friends and i had to hear the story over and over again. Bitter much? Maybe its time to move on if you cant shut up about your work drama while you are off work. Overall the food is good and everyone makes mistakes so i'll be back. read more

This location has fast, friendly service. It would be helpful if the soup was hotter. I ordered soup in a bread bowl and it was luke warm. The bakery section is great. It has a variety of goods. I tried the pumpkin muffin and it was delicious. I had the iced green tea with it. It wasn't too sweet. read more

I love Panera and have come to this location many times. Typically, the food is good and the service is okay, with some hiccups on orders. Tonight was a very different story. My boyfriend and I visited and I wanted to order my usual large Mac and cheese, a small chicken noodle soup and a strawberry smoothie. First, I was told that I could not order a large Mac and cheese on the pick two, even though I can on the Panera App. Second, while waiting for my to-go order I noticed it was taking a bit long and asked why. They said they were checking to see if they had more Mac and cheese because they only had enough for a small. I was told they had no more pasta and was offered instead a large soup...though I was still overpaying for the soup. My order was finally ready and I looked in the bag to find dinner rolls...after ordering baguettes at the counter. I was simply told oh we're out and not given any choice. My boyfriend was upset on my behalf since nothing had been said to us prior and so she finally went to get a full baguette to give us some pieces...though she didn't seem at all happy about it. Fine, I get home to enjoy my meal, I finish my soup and open up my pasta to see a disgusting bottom of the barrel type of substance that did not resemble the look nor smell of what I am used to getting. I took one bite and it was obviously the dead, sitting pasta that no one wanted. The lack of awareness and consideration was astounding. I paid $18 to eat soup, a smoothie, and bread. I will seriously consider not coming to this location again in the future. read more

Honestly I LOVE Panera. But this location is a hit or miss. There are days their the service is on point and then there is bad days....but honestly the worst part about this Panera is they have the sweetest old lady bussing tables when there are 20 somethings just standing still ringing up people. I ordered two dozen brdinner rolls one day in advance. When I got there, they only had 4 rolls available and suggested I take baguettes instead. They broke them up into individual pieces for me ... and that was it! The manager handed me a big bag and apologized, suggesting I order in advance. When I assured him I had, on line, the previous day, he made some lame excuse that it needed to be further in advance since they don't really check their orders that frequently or when sales starts going the don't check inventory. I could not understand, since it was supposed to be waiting for me to just pick up, since I also paid in advance. I don't believe what I finally got was equal monetary value. I just had to suck it up and take what they gave me. There was not even an offer to give me a consolation cookie or sweet roll. I had a formal dinner for high school senior ball to serve for 13 in a few hours and the only consolation was at least the bread tasted good. read more

There isn't a grocery store in the area and we needed a loaf of bread, so stopped here There's quite a selection and settled on a loaf of sourdough which they sliced on the spot. It was fresh and chewy and really sour. So good with peanut butter or melted butter we had to force ouselves to stop our carb binge once we got it home. I'm now spoiled, no more grocery store bread for me with this in the neighborhood. read more

I love this location because the staff are always professional and helpful. There is always someone walking around to make sure the tables are clean and checking on their customers. Their food is always good and gives me a great place to study. They also have these AMAZING cranberry muffins that are to die for! Went here on Wednesday night and got the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo. I had the napa chicken salad sandwich and it was awesome. Very flavorful. The turkey chili had a good amount of turkey meat in it. The hibiscus and Acai berry ice tea are both really good. Couldn't decide what to get, so I mixed them together. I don't usually go out to eat lunch but today I felt like not packing a lunch and going to Panera. Big mistake. I know its lunch time and there are a lot of people in here but I waited 15 minutes in line, the cashier punched in the wrong order and had to go correct it after it printed and my turkey chili bread bowl was just bread! Wow! I understand everything else but to forget the soup that goes in the bread bowl is ridiculous. The worst part is that I trusted them and ordered to go and did not check inside of the bread bowl before leaving. So I am now sitting here at work with this big hunk of bread and feeling dumb because I should have just made my own lunch! read more

The reason for the 2 stars is that we were sitting outside when a couple of Panera Bread employees came and also sat on the patio...where the table were all full of diners...and then proceeded to light up cigarettes and smoke (in a place that is illegal to smoke) while we all tried to eat. Upon approaching them to state it was a non smoking area we were informed by them that they were aware of that. No apology, no remorse. For that reason I will no return. read more
