Thank you so very much for reaching out. I felt like you really heard our concern and was sympathetic. I appreciate it so much and it shows you really care about customer experience. I went back and this time it came out super fast and those helping me were so nice. It really made up for the last time. We will be back again!

Nice restaurant near Hayward BART. Parking available and no wait for a weekday dinner. I got the pesto turkey sandwich which was delicious. Nice sourdough sandwich. Lots of seating available but the music is a bit too loud.

You're going to get a great sandwich at this place. I tried the CHICKEN CHOLULA sandwich and it was delicious. The bread and this combination is delicious - Carved Chicken marinated in Green Chili Cholula & Jalapeno Ranch Dressing. House Spread, Lettuce, Tomato, Crisp Jalapeno, Pepper Jack Cheese, Prepared Hot.

Food is delicious. You have to be a little patient, because the sourdough bread gets freshly baked. Sandwich was delicious as was the soup. The lovely classical music, playing over the speaker elevated The atmosphere. I didn't mind waiting while listening

My wife and I wanted to try a new sandwich spot and we are so happy we gave this place shot. The young man who took our order was very patient with us. The restaurant (including the restroom) was super clean. The sandwiches are delicious and the prices are reasonable. I can't say enough good things about our experience. We'll definitely be back.

This place is in a convenient location so I tried it after the gym. I ordered the cholula chicken sandwich. The girl taking my order almost whispered everything which doesn't work well when it's already loud in there. Wait time was ok. The sandwich itself had good flavor but way too much sauce on the outside of the bread which was soggy from it. I'll try them again another time and will update then. The selection of items is nice so maybe it was just a one time off. But overall the flavor was good.

Didn't want to cook on a Sunday night so my bf and I opted for the newly opened Sourdough & Co down the street. Place was empty which was nice, we thought we were going to get our food quickly, but that didn't happen. We ordered the southwest chicken salad, the Cobb salad and a bowl of veggie soup which came with some sourdough bread. Both salads were fresh but the soup was sadly cold. Also this was a "bowl" of soup which we initially thought was a cup. It was small! They must have been busy with delivery orders because we waited 15 min for our food. Inside was very clean and the workers nice and accommodating. I'd come back to try the sandwiches and cookies.

Good bread and flavorful but the sandwiches are overpriced for the amount of protein you get inside. They pile all the meat in the middle before cutting to make it look like you get a lot, but after a couple bites you're just left with mostly salad and bread. Also $1 for "1/4" of the tiniest avocado? My wife was wondering where her extra avocado was and found the tiniest slice just tossed somewhere in between the wrapper and sandwich

With so many locations around it was nice to finally get a taste of Sourdough & Co. sandwiches. We ordered 3 sandwiches so it took a while, especially since we wanted them warm. Orders: French Dip-Pretty sparse on the meat, but bread was fresh #8 Pastrami & Turkey- I really appreciated the pastrami not being overly salty & it was a perfect balance with the turkey. Bread was fresh & crunchy. #13 Garlic Pesto w/turkey- this sandwich didn't have much garlic paste & it had a very light pesto ailoli flavor. I was a little disappointed, so I would try another sandwich next time.

We were having a lot of people over to our house to watch the playoffs and we wanted to have a good variety of foods. These sandwiches were incredibly popular and very tasty. I put the box down and stepped away briefly to get my cell phone to take a photo and already more than half of the sandwiches were GONE. The box of 12 or 13 sandwiches came well packed and in a recyclable box that you could use to display the sandwiches too. This box of individually wrapped sandwiches was affordable and great for a big party. This was the first time that I ordered from them, but it was so easy and the sandwiches were popular with everyone (kids, adults, and old people alike) that I know I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future. I also want you check out the clam chowder in the fresh hot bread bowls. The service was also great. Their pickles are my favorite kind too, crisp and dill - YUM!

Our 2nd visit was last Friday, March 21. My father, cousin and I all ordered the clam chowder with mushroom flatbread and cookies for dessert. The food was served warm and tasty. We still plan to return. The sourdough is baked to near perfection. I can't remember the last time I had bread this good. The service has been friendly and answered all our questions. The tables are clean, everything looks new and taken care off. Parking can be hard since there are apartments, a gym, and other retail locations nearby. We have only ordered for our table and have not tried food to go. Maybe next time, but we still enjoy eating at Sourdough & Co and will continue to do so for awhile.

My partner and I usually come for the basic comfort items like Pad Thai, Pad Se Ew, Lao Sausage, and/or their sampler. Occasionally we'd get their papaya salad, Tom Yum soup, or other entrees to share, but I do feel that they don't execute those dishes as well as the basics we frequently return for. I may be critiquing them harder than others on their papaya salad and Nam Khao because my mom does it best (no bias...). However, their portions are large and the flavors are great all around. I think they do some items better than others, but I have yet to be disappointed by any of their food. It's always great to try something new on the menu and be pleasantly surprised. But aside from the food, the customer service and ambiance encourages us to come back every time. They're kind, patient, and attentive all around. Whether we're just picking up food, dining in at peak times or during the quiet hours, they always deliver a great experience. Their dining room is fairly large and they have a softer lighting that compliments that TLC decor well. Through and through, Chai Thai is consistent and reliable.

This was easily one of the best Korean meals we've had in the Bay Area. It's authentic, salt-of-the-earth home cooking. The Soups: The Seolleongtang and Galbi Gomtang were totally legit. My family celebrated my dad's 87th birthday here. When we arrived, the restaurant was busy, but…read morethere were still seats available. My sister had reserved our tables a few days in advance. The staff told her we wouldn't be seated unless our entire party was present. About 4 people were late, but they still seated us. The restaurant kind of felt old and somewhat dirty. But hey, it was my dad's birthday. I wasn't paying for lunch. We occupied three tables and ordered from both the lunch and dim sum menus. I enjoyed dishes like shiu mai, pork buns, walnut shrimp, fried rice, fish, and fried noodles. The sesame balls were tasty, but the service was slow, and I had to follow up on our order. I didn't care for the bun with the hot dog or the other noodle dish. Later that day, my daughter mentioned she had found hair in a pork bun and that her cousin had eaten it. She also said every item he picked up had hair on it, which was disappointing. I didn't confirm this with my cousin, but it would have been helpful to have someone inform the staff. Fortunately, no one at our table found hair in their food, which was a relief. Overall, the food that I ate was fine, but I wouldn't make a special trip from San Jose to visit again...unless it's a fambam family treat.

Quality/Quantity - My daughter craved Pho so we came to this place. It has been a VERY long time since we ate here. Actually, the previous time was with the previous owners/business. Today we got the following: Fish Ball Noodle Soup with Pho Noodles - Of course my daughter's choice and with NO veggies?!?! This looked so plain... I know I could have made this better at home! My wife shared some of her wontons with my daughter to add to the flavor. See pictures. I am sure this is NOT what my daughter had in mind when she craved Pho. This was much more of a "Chinese" dish rather than Vietnamese. Update - My daughter mentioned that she could not find regular thinly sliced beef pho as an option. And she thought fish balls were beef balls... Wonton Noodle Soup - Also as plain as my daughter's dish. Again, more of a Chinese dish rather than Vietnamese. #24 Fried Pork Chop, Chicken, Egg with Steamed Rice - Fried fresh and perfectly done! My pork chop and chicken were 5 stars! Everything else was just okay. Ambiance - Very small local business. Decent size parking lot, but not enough spaces for this busy mall. We got lucky and got a space fairly close to the restaurant. Not stressed as we planned to shop at Foodnet after lunch. Service - Had to ask for everything. Hard to get their attention as they just hung around the first booth talking and talking and talking. The hardest worker was the runner, probably the only employee that was not family...? Price - $66 + more generous tip than deserved or earned. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 2024. And your previous location in Oakland, etc. The previous location was known for their chicken, chicken noodle soup, etc.
