I asked the lady at the counter if the sandwiches got smaller but she told me "that's just how they cut the bread". There's obviously less chicken on it than usual, too. I love Panera bread, especially when you're out of town and looking for some healthful options. We came here for breakfast. The tablets were not working correctly so after getting frustrated, finally went to the counter and the employee put in my order wrong. Luckily I caught it before they made my food and they fixed it with no issue. I ordered the new Avo & Egg white sandwich with a fruit cup. I do not come here often but when I have the food never disappoints! Tonight I did drive thru got chicken strawberry lemon poppy seed salad and omg it was so good.. different fruits, nuts and lettuce with chicken yes please.. every meal I've gotten has come with a piece of bread.. I also got a soft yummy brownie.. the man at window was very nice.. greeted with a big smile ..I recommend this place for sure.. you can get sandwiches salads soups all sorts of sides and different bread items.. read more

This was delicious, the boy and I are on the bulk and we truly fell in love over this meal. The boy said the BACON TURKEY BRAVO is to die for, the secret sauce truly hit every taste bud in the right spot. We wanted more even though we were full. Embarrassed for them.... Seriously we have eaten here several times and ordered out a few times and their old sandwich menu was always good. The place is clean and comfortable. However, their new sandwich menu... I'm not sure there is a whole lot to like in terms of choices. But the embarrassment for them is that the sandwiches we got had nothing more but a STAIN of ingredients on them. I ordered tuna and the Mrs ordered the beef dip. When we opened the top of the sandwiches, we could see that there wasn't enough filling that it din't even cover the bread!! Well, we are done - getting ripped off is the worst experience you can have with a food joint. And, with two beverages, a cookie and a brownie we were looking at over $30 - no thank you. Not for us. I usually don't give bad reviews until I've had multiple bad experiences....well today tipped the scales. To begin with...it seems they can never staff the registers with employees that know how to work them...20 minutes to service three costumers seems excessive. I have never seen more than one person working registers. Additionally...for reasons I can't explain...this Panera location seems to constantly be out of....well everything. After finally getting my order in I go to wait...for another 20 minutes....and they weren't especially busy. Possibly it's the fact that the employees were all hanging out and joking around in the back...and the person...who I assumed was the manager was loudly complaining about some drama in his life. Then he went back to the food prep area to....let me check my notes....eat a muffin while continuing to joke around with employees. To top it all off...after finally getting my order...15 minutes after the little screen said my order was ready....the chicken wasn't fully cooked. I think this is one of the most poorly managed Panera locations I have been to. I'm really not sure how they continue to get business...but I don't think I'll be back. read more

One of the worst Panera locations I have been to in a while. Placed an order on the app this morning (830am), checked in at the speaker, got to the window and found out that every item I had ordered and paid for was out of stock... However, it was relayed to me one item at a time while they went to replace each one, so needless to say I was a bit annoyed by the end of that back and forth. As I'm driving away, I look at my beverage and realize that I ordered and paid for a large coffee and received a small on top of it all. I waited almost thirty minutes, blocking all those behind me in the drive-thru as someone else was already waiting in the pull forward area. I ordered at 1329 received food at 1355. I headed back across town to work and noticed the bag was dripping. The salad was on its side. When I opened the sandwich, the mayonnaise was also on top of the bread. It was more of a tomato sandwich than Napa Chicken. See photo. I realize restaurants are struggling with staffing, and I wasn't rude, just very disappointed as it took up most of my lunch hour for a spoonful of water salad. Every time I visited this Panera, they always forgot to add an included part of my order. Frozen Carmel coffee drink, green passion drink, and bakery item. I understand maybe twice, but I've visited this location multiple times, and it is always the same thing. Today I was missing 2 items from my order. What makes it worse is that the receipt comes with a worker check off that they check the bag and it has all the correct items with their initials. I went ahead and placed a mobile order at this fine american franchise and i have to say....The sandwiches were as big as a cinderblock, so if ever you needed to prop up the four corners of a car nearby, in order to steal the wheels, Panera Bakery in western has you covered! My cookies were my favorite part about it, aside from being warm on the outside and cold inside, was that it had picked up a turkey taste from being put on top of the sandwich (the gift that keeps on giving!) oh and this is the second time the screwed up and not give me the bread bowl for my bread bowl broccoli and cheddar soup, so that was cool. read more

I cannot find anything I like about Panera bread. I thought it may be just the one in Wilmington but no...it's here, too. I got a whole salad with three different dressings to try. The salad was $11.00 and had chicken, lettuce and a ton of wonton crisps. The dressings were not tasty at all and so I used Bragg's liquid amino spray which was delicious. I didn't want the carbs so I asked for the apples with it and it was a whole apple which I thought was strange. I also ordered a cup of vegetable soup. It was $5.99 for a cup!! I pay $5.99 for legit lobster bisque or clam chowder at fancy restaurants. The taste wasn't bad but what am I missing? Someone please tell me what makes this place so great. I love panera bread!! All of their sandwiches, pastries, salads, and soups are so good!! The only downfall is their price :( this location is big and have a drive-thru. Plenty of space, seating, and parking. I found a good amount of tables with outlets for power. A great place to study!! I came to this location after my dentist appointment. It was very clean. They have a kiosk where you can order your food and I personally liked it because it showed me that I can add certain things without additional cost (SCORE!). I did the pick 2 -- Chicken Frontega Panini and the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad. The panini has very delicious taste. Even the bread is freaking good!! The sun-dried tomatoes really give it a ton of flavor. My only complain is that I wish they grilled it longer because my cheese wasn't melted :( the Asian sesame salad is to die for if you like a sweet and tangy flavor for your salad. The fried wontons really give it texture and taste. These two are always my go to. When I do explore outside the menu, I never regret it. Quick order, quick service at a clean restaurant. The food tasted quite standard to other Panera's. My issue was the portions were a bit smaller then the several Panera's I've been to before. I am thrilled to finally have a Panera in town! WOOHOO! They get five stars so far after two visits--one for eat-in breakfast and baker's dozen bagels and one for Tuesday Bagels (baker's dozen for $6.99). Both times we had nice, efficient service with delicious food. We saw a manager walking around both times we were there and they said hello to us. One unique thing about this location that I've never experienced before is that when you order your baker's dozen bagels, you don't get them from the bins in front of you--your order is placed and you have to go wait at pickup. You also don't get your bagels in a box--just a bag. It's not good or bad--just different. On a non-busy Monday and Tuesday morning I think it took about 10 minutes to get our order. Just as a data point, the entrance and parking lots leave something to be desired. They obviously started from scratch so I'm not sure why it's so convoluted. But it feels a bit cramped with lots of stop signs because it connects to neighboring business parking lots. read more

This is a really nice place to eat. I did not give 5 stars due to the chaos at lunch time. They give you a buzzer when your food is ready but there is not a defined way to identify the order that you placed. The worker had to look through my to go bag to determine the order was is fact mine. This is a newly opened store so I'll give it some time and write review 2. Let's talk price. Simply over priced but I understand why. You are paying for the environment and the experience. Don't get me wrong, the food is good but I am not fond of paying $9 for a small half of sandwich, cup of soup and a piece of bread. I think if the drink was included in the pick 2 I would have felt a lot better paying the price I paid. All in all if you don't mind making it rain. This is a good place to eat. Panera uses DoorDash to deliver their orders and my DoorDasher was suppose to call and inform me that they were out of The pastry I ordered.
