Wow! So this was my first time at this Panera and I stopped actually, on my way to another location and decided to stop in. I order their Creamy chicken and Wild rice soup, and I think it was a seasonal salad - a Harvest medley chicken salad. Both great! It has been awhile since I had been to Panera so silly me, I got chips instead of bread, but Panera is so good! & I must take a moment to highlight their refreshers because their dragon fruit green tea refresher is so DIE forrrrr! I literally wanted to order another cup on the way out til I realized that at 4p, and to be heading home to soon head to bed, extra caffeine was not my answer lol. But so so good! So Panera Bread sucked me in as a Sips Club member when I traveled from MD to Florida via Route 95 and I noticed how many locations were advertised along the way at each exit ramp. On the way home, I had enrolled into their drink club via a promotion for free months and I took full advantage of it. Fast forward three months, I'm still having all the drinks I like for free. Orange scones and Turkey Bacon Bravo sandwich are the only food items worth buying for me. This location is relatively quiet and their restrooms are always clean. They also have outdoor seating which is my favorite spot. They also have the ordering kiosks which I didn't think I would like but now I'm their biggest fan. read more

I love this Panera bread location! I fully appreciate that they have a drive-through and it's only a few minutes down the road from my house their order ahead option and sips club makes it easy for me to frequent their establishment. The food is always good, drinks are fresh, and they have a community bulletin board (although I've noticed my posters are always taken down by the next time I come in - not sure if it's the establishment that is taking them down or if people are just interested in my poster and taking it down with them instead of taking a picture of it?). Their parking lot is small, but efficient and their drive-through can take a little while, but they will usually come around to give you your food if you have ordered ahead and you're stuck in the drive-through lane. read more

Continuing northeast to 2 zip codes away to Jessup 20794, I arrive at this Panera location. I've been here many times as I'm a Sip Club member. It's a comfortable Panera to WiFi, which I've done to avoid traffic on 295 at 5 or 6 PM from my home just 2 long exits to the south, like if I have something going on in Hanover on a weeknight. Never have eaten at this location as I'll eat at the one by me MD-198 corridor marketplace in Maryland City or up on Nursery Road in Linthicum Heights with a games group. This location the staff is a bit inconsistent. I remember they weren't even around and had to wait a while for a cashier and another time had to wait a long time to refill coffee. read more

A bit of a mixed review, possibly not totally the restaurant's fault. My wife is vegan ( and I try to do so when I can) , and although there's limited choices at Panera, she's found that for breakfast the everything bagel with a side of avocado works. At our normal Panera that's the cost of the bagel plus $1 for a side of avocado. Not here, $3 for the avocado, plus a convoluted way of putting the order in ( which they also got wrong ). Since this totally baffled the cashier, and her backup, they got the manager. The exchange with the manager was polite but a little weird as she made a slightly veiled accusation of being a TikTok-inspired hack trying to get something for free - I felt like saying : no lady, it's a vegan thing - one of the limited menu items you have for vegans ( but I was nice and didn't say anything ) . She then justified the method for making the charge since there was a corporate change 6 months ago to the software, no more miscellaneous charges - strange, because 2 other places we visit still do it. I'll reserve full judgment in case the other 2 places I frequent also make this change -- although thus far that hasn't taken place yet. read more

Of course when you try to call no one answers the phone. I put in a refund request and was only credited $2.08! I should have gotten a full refund, especially with the tax and fees they charge for Doordash! Now I know why I stopped going there! They deserve 0 stars! read more

I have been patronizing this location for a while now but I'm done! If you want your order made correctly don't come to this location. I placed a to go order and didn't check inside my salad and I ordered a fuji apple chicken salad and didn't check to make sure they had all the ingredients and get home with not one apple in the salad. Only a total chicken salad. I called customer service panera and they tell me. The store like to handle its own mistakes. You think I received a call or email. ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Everytime they keep telling me they have 14 days to resolve this issue. How about just getting your orders right. Learn what's actually provided in every item on your menu. Is that to much to ask!! Definitely going to a new location that can actually get it right smh. If I only wanted a chicken salad. I would have ordered one. Poor customer service. read more

This was not a good experience. The man who seemed like the manager asked about what's the name of my order and blamed me for ordering it online and coming in too early. Then he said I placed the order for the wrong time, meaning at a later time. In fact, I just placed the order, the app didn't even ask me that question. Anyway, it was not a good experience at all. This was my first time visiting this location, which features a drive through window. In most instances, it is a good option. Though I did not use it for this trip, it is good to know that it is available The nearby location that I visited in the past closed permanently, so this was the next closest location from where I was at the time. The process was pretty typical. I placed my order in the bakery area and picked it up in the pickup area. I came here during the height of lunch on a Wednesday. The parking lot was full so I expected a long wait. To my surprise the food was very quick and accurate to my modifications. The place is clean and the employee seemed happy to be here. My only mark down is if you order a combo at the kiosk and that combo has a fountain drink, you have to get in line at the main register to get a cup. So I retrieved my food but then had to go back to the main counter and get a cup which caused confusion for the employee because I was a random stranger asking for a cup. Now they have to stop and check my receipt. Panera, just give the cups to the kitchen for kiosk orders and then the kitchen can give the customer a cup from the kitchen eliminating the customer having to get back in line and the awkwardness of now the register has to check my receipt. read more

I used to love coming to this location when this location first opened. Now, things have changed. I ordered two pieces of bagel, and I asked one of the staff members for some cream cheese. Another member tells her co-worker that I need to purchase cream cheese separately so which I did. They had me purchase a WHOLE TUB of cream cheese for just two orders of bagel. I never got charged for cream cheese with my bagel back then. The quality of service has dropped significantly. I'm never coming back to this location again. The fact that this location has a drive thru is a blessing and a curse. If it is not one of their peak hour then you can pick up food so quickly through the drive thru it is amazing. But if it is peak hours then no matter what you do you will be waiting a long time for your order. I came around 11am and because the drive thru line was long I decided to go inside to order my food. 20 minutes later I got my food. Nothing fancy about my order it was just a salad and a sandwich. If it took me that long to order inside I cannot imagine how long it would have taken going through the drive thru. The inside is really nice though. Very clean. Even the bathrooms were nicely decorated and sparkling clean. With how busy this location is they need to hire more staff or have a way for them to be able to work more effectively. Either that or just open another location nearby. read more

Stopped by here in the morning on the way to work. I grabbed a dark roast coffee with cream and sugar. It was good but not great. I then ordered the cinnamon crunch bagel with the honey almond cream cheese. I pulled off and they gave me regular cream cheese *rolls eyes* I also noticed my bagel was "well done" lol! I asked for it to be lightly toasted not burnt lol! But oh well! I also went through the drive thru and I didn't have to wait too long. If you're in a rush I would not go through the drive thru. I use Panera for catering quite a bit for work meetings. I use a location closer to work normally but they suddenly closed, so I used the location in Jessup. I had a fairly significant order that I placed that AM through the App. All I can say is 4hrs later, the order was ready on time and accurate. The staff were nice and helped me carry my order to my vehicle. read more

Jim the manager is pompous and rude. Takes no type of accountability for anything and needs to learn how to be empathic especio ally if you call yourself a "manager". If i could give this specific location negative stars I would. I've been a consistent customer with Panera and never had issues in store or delivery, but this location... never again. Spent over $70 for a group order and the half gallon of tea was opened and drank out of!!!! What does Jim say? He blames it all on door dash although I ordered directly through their app. I'm also in the process of moving and asked for utensils and your boy JIM made it seem like it was my issue and again made it seem like I was incompetent by saying "we don't always have the utensil option" which is a flat out LIE. I was disappointed by my experience this morning. I sat in the drive-thru for almost 40 minutes waiting to order/get my food with only two people ahead of me in line (and it wasn't even during a typical morning rush time, which was strange). At one point, I even turned off my car so I wouldn't waste gas! When I finally got to the window, the food was cold, part of my order was incorrect, and an item was missing. (Apparently, they were sold out. I wasn't charged for it, but a heads up would have been nice.) When I got home a few minutes later, I found that the sandwich was sloppily constructed and it was on the wrong type of bread. :/ I've worked customer service at a fast food restaurant before, and I understand how stressful it can be, but this is far too many mistakes for one order, and the lack of attention to detail is honestly quite appalling. (Maybe they gave me the wrong order? Who knows.) I hope the others in line had a better experience! read more

I used to go to this location quite often but hadn't been there in a while. Stopped by this morning and ordered from the kiosk, then made my way to the counter to ask for the coffee cup. The "gentleman" (was anything but) at the cash register, whom I suspect may be the supervisor or manager as he was dressed differently, was extremely rude and aggressively stated that the coffee cup was ready at the pickup window. I kept trying to explain that I was looking to grab my coffee sooner since it isn't customary in my experience to have to wait for it until your order is ready but he kept cutting me off. Very unprofessional, absolutely no tact in dealing with customers, even other customers and employees noticed. Completely ruined my breakfast experience. I come to this location every weekend, but today is the last time I'm here. The customer service is certainly not welcoming. People at the order counter, most of the time, just stare at you and don't even say "hi!". As if you're bothering them. Today, I man at the counter just looked at me. Wouldn't say a word. Panera is my jam and when I saw a brand new one popping up right around the corner WITH A DRIVE THRU my life was made complete. There's no other fast food chain that makes you feel like you're making the healthy choice (imo) and for that I am grateful. The space is so cozy and brand new so there is little to judge negatively. Complete with a fireplace, this Panera is my new favorite spot for breeakfast, lunch, or completing homework in the evening. It has cozy nooks and plentiful seating for dine in guests. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with self service tablets to place your order- a nice touch. The pick up window for your food is past the coffee bar and situated at the back of the restaurant. Only giving 4 stars thIs time around because they are so new there's little that could go wrong. I'll definitely be back and will update how this Panera maintains. read more

I ordered a Peach and Blueberry smoothie and a pastry to grab for a quick bite on my lunch break through the mobile app. Pick up time was 4:15 pm I arrived a little before 4:13. Panera had a handful of customers, not very busy at all. The girl at the counter directed me to where Rapid pick ups are. I waited for another 10 minutes, standing in the lobby, never saw my order, and saw two customers who were in line behind me receive their orders while I was waiting. I followed up with the girl at the register again and she went to talk to staff who was preparing food. Eventually, the woman working behind the counter gave me a smoothie that wasn't even filled up all the way. I'm guessing it was probably sitting for a bit. And then I went back up to the front register AGAIN to finally get my pastry. There wasn't really much of an apology either for any of this. This was by far the worst Panera experience I've had. If I ordered some sandwiches and salads, I maybe a bit more understanding to this terrible service. But I ordered a smoothie and a pastry. And it took more than 20 minutes from when I put in my order, to when I was given my poorly made smoothie and my pastry. Do better read more

I literally got on just to say this Panera really sucks at it's services. The very first crew when they first opened where on point and had things flowing. After they left I wait about 20 mins drive way to complete the order. The. I started to make my order leaving my house which I live in silver spring to make sure it's done in time. And yes there have been times the the order is still not ready... there needs to be a crew switch or manger who cares. I believe this location is surrounded by professional workers lol.. Have been a customer of this location since they open. Had friendly staff and orders done in a timely manner and orders were correct. That is no longer the case. For the second time this week, my order was wrong. When brought to managements attention the response was oh well whatever and no offer to correct the order. Orders do not come out in a timely fashion and there is no system in place to make sure food is being made properly and with all ingredients included. They opened yesterday and they're working the kinks out. They were open on time and I ordered at the window.. The service is friendly. They have a lot of breakfast choices. The dark coffee tastes nice. The blueberry dark toasted bagel with egg and sausage is overpowered by the heavily spiced patty though the blueberries taste good when you bite a piece off and miss the sausage. The egg is bland. Next time I'll just get the bagel. The price for all under $7; just the coffee and bagel is probably a better choice. read more
