    green goddess salad with chicken

Our visit started okay and soured at the end. We ordered ahead for two salads with baguette pieces, and they were ready in wait of our arrival. The restaurant was jam packed inside, but we found a table and ate. The food was fine. My husband then went up and paid for a large coffee to fuel him for our road trip, only to find there was no coffee. A whole line of people was idling in wait of it--and a large line to order food, so there was no way to get a quick refund. We needed to get back on the road, so we couldn't stay around. He ended up filling the cup with water.

I decided to order the chicken tikka masala bc I love Indian food but this tastes nothing like any chicken tikka masala before, the color is very dark and it's not even spicy! As I ate it I didn't see a single piece of chicken in the masala. The only thing I enjoyed from this meal was the tea that came with it (iced passion fruit papaya tea).

I can't believe I didn't take a picture of how this place looks like from the outside. Oh well... I came here with one other person and it was probably like 6pm. There were already a lot of people eating at tables but there were a few places to sit still. I ordered the Steak & White Cheddar Panini with bread and a fountain soda. It didn't take long before our orders were ready. The Steak & White Cheddar Panini tasted good; however, it was such a small portion for me. There were onions in it so watch out for that if you order it... that is if you don't like onions or want onion-breath. The bread that came with it was fresh and good. I forgot what kind of bread it was though. I thought this place was a little pricey in terms of the amount you get. Good place for studying or just to meet with somebody.

Another ungrilled should be grilled cheese. The bacon tomato grilled cheese is one of my favorite sandwiches especially for dipping into my soup but they can't seem to grill the thing.

First time visit. Always thought it was too expensive for what you got but could not have been more wrong. Ultra fresh and huge portions

Great place to eat healthy. Lots of seating, catering to all ages. Service is young but friendly. Awesome for a quick lunch break.

This was the first time going as a party of three as we brought our toddler. The food was as good as ever. It's so hard to choose an entree other than the potpie, but I always want to because the entrees other than the potpie sound and look so delicious. We ordered good appetizers: a white bean hummus and salmon cakes. I'd recommend both of those if you have those options on the rotating menu. While they have high chairs and the staff was so patient with our toddler who was mostly well behaved but got a little restless, my wife and I struggled to keep him entertained in the quaint and cozy space. I think next time we're going to look at the takeaway, cook at home potpie dinner option. I didn't know they offered that until this visit.

I definitely recommend everyone check this place out and experience it for themselves!

I'd definitely recommend stopping in regularly to check out what's being served. So far, my favorites are the Caesar salad and the tuna melt--both were outstanding. And honestly, there's no way you can find food this tasty at this price anywhere else. Amazing food, amazing value, and an even better mission behind it! Highly recommend!

Not sure why this change has taken place as this is a common pattern with much lesser Thai restaurants, and that's something I always respected and boasted about to visitors when I took them to Lu Lu's, they did NOT play when it came to the spice level, the servers told you upfront exactly what was coming your way and you got it as promised! I depended on them during allergy season when I was out of Flonase or it didn't work, to help me breathe, fire, if nothing else. Case in point, tonight I ordered three different spice levels from the hottest to medium, none of them had ANY spice to them. Delicious yes, but seriously where did the heat go? Disappointed again. Can't breathe still. Lu Lu why you gotta do me like that!?!?!

You can tell a lot of thought went into creating the space. What really sets this place apart is the wood-fired cooking. Everything is prepared over Missouri hickory and oak, and you can truly taste the difference. The food has this incredible smoky depth that makes every bite feel elevated and intentional. I also love that they source ingredients from local farmers, which really comes through in how fresh and vibrant everything tastes. The menu feels seasonal, thoughtful, and well-executed. The food itself is not only beautifully presented, but packed with flavor. Every dish I tried was cooked perfectly and left a lasting impression. They're open for lunch, and they also offer catering from casual office lunches to full events. I've heard amazing things about their charcuterie boards as well. It was a full, nicely cooked piece with great flavor, not a small portion tossed in as an afterthought. The salad had fresh greens, avocado, egg, and plenty of nuts and toppings that made it feel filling and well put together. My only issue was the packaging. The salad container was left fully open inside the bag, and the bag was stapled shut. I did not realize there were staples and cut my hand opening it. Because I was in a hotel and had put a few small items in the bag, they ended up falling right onto the exposed salad when I opened it. For delivery orders, a closed container and a safer seal would make a big difference. Food quality was excellent though, and I would order again, just hoping for better delivery packaging next time.

Potbelly's is actually surprisingly one of my go-to sandwich shops in my area. I remember…read moretravelling to Chicago and there were Potbelly's everywhere, even in the airport, then boom-bam-thank-you-ma'am one popped up on the Country Club Plaza and has been slapping together sandwiches ever since. Now maybe it's the nostalgia of family vacations to the wild world of Chicago or maybe it's my affliction to anything in sandwich form but, I can't get enough of Potbelly's and it definitely doesn't have to do with the name but, may or may not have to do with the Zapps chips as an option for combos (the superior tier of chips of course.) Now here's the one gripe with this location it can get crowded around lunchtime, it also sometimes closes early (still not sure why on this) however, if you use the app to mobile order you get points and your sandwich is usually ready by the time you find parking and walk there, so that's a win/win. I also kind of love their loyalty/rewards program it is pretty easy to get perks from the app. On my last visit it was November 3rd, which if you didn't know is National Sandwich Day, and I decided to meet two family members who work on the Plaza. I ordered our offerings before we met around 12:30 through the app and got BOGO sandwiches. After placing two orders we ended up with 4 full sized sandwiches for around $20 which, for the size and the sandwiches we each ended up with, we thought was a steal. My brother went for the pizza melt, my mom got the chicken club and I got the turkey avocado to eat there at lunch and then the new pastrami to go. All of us were extremely satisfied and when we arrived at 12:30 we only had to wait about 5 minutes for our order but, it is to be noted it was very busy due to the holiday that day. I have also enjoyed their salads from here, my mother has had soup and Mac n Cheese before as well. And, I have tried many other sandwiches on the menu such as the classic Wreck, which is their most famous sandwich piled high with multiple meats and The Mediterranean sandwich which has hummus, chicken and feta, all have been very fresh and delicious . They also have lighter options, with smaller portion sizes, and a way to order your sandwich where they will hollow out the bread for less carbs.
