The get will offer a nice spread of pastry, but with this layout it looks like the defrosted things you find at Wal-Mart or Kroger. The coffee was decent but their chai latte was way too floral versus the spicy offering you would expect. Update: their hot coffee carafes are also set up for timers but not one is running. We've gone to Panera's across the country, and this one was fine, but the food just isn't hitting like it used too. Bacon mac and cheese was fine for my kiddo, but it was just OK while it used to be creamier and not as clumpy/frozen and reheated. French onion soup was also just fine, but it didn't have a lot of cheese and was again, just OK, while back in the day it was a great choice, cheesy, and delicious! The salads were fine, but they weren't anything we couldn't make at home, and for the price, we thought it'd at least have a little life to it. We got the strawberry salad and the Fuji Apple salad, and the Fuji salad was definitely better than the other. My dad really liked his sandwich though, and I liked their green tea, but even that wasn't as delicious as others I've been to. I also feel there used to be more drink options? I definitely miss their grain/power bowls too. We'd maybe come back as the service was nice, but I think Panera has an opportunity to up the choices and food quality! read more

Panera is a restaurant. I usually enjoy. This new one and Kyle has the worst service. We ordered simple salad and soup for delivery. We were supposed to have our order back by 8:30 around there. The time had passed and found out that they had not even received the order or even notice the order. The driver had been there on time to pick up our food at 8:46 they started making the order. Upon receiving the order, one of the soups was wrong. The salad look like he had been made by somebody's feet and the bread was broken in half inside the bag not cut but broken. I am not sure who is working or have they can get away with serving poor quality in that manner, but I will call the manager for a refund in the morning. none of the food look like any of the pictures. After speaking to the manager this morning and explaining what it happened last night, she tried to compensate with a replacement meal, and I thought that was an even trade and she provided an apology on top of all that. read more

We are from Southern California & went to Panera all the time even though most of the Paneras were not clean.... This new Panera in Kyle Texas was OUTSTANDING! It was clean, inviting, menu was big enough to read, staff was helpful & super kind. The only thing I noticed was that this Panera is missing the flavored cold teas & flavored hot tea bags like peach/mint. Oh, and this location didn't have the flatbread pizzas anymore. My son and I went this morning on the opening day. We got breakfast sandwiches. I got the Chipotle Chicken and Avocado sandwich and he got the BLT chicken avocado sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious and made to perfection. Since we were part of the first 75 customers we got free chocolate chip cookies. We went through the drive through and it was super quick. After I go to chick fil a and order the peach shake and blow out the peaches from my straw, I head on over to the local Panera! WOW! Talk about feeling at home!! I didn't have a stable home. However, Panera's doors made me feel like I had a relationship with my father again. MY OH MY I loving the meat here! Pretty girl. THEY LOADED ME UP!!! Talk about cheese pull!! So tired of spending almost $100 through the app for the family and we always seem to be missing something. Why put the check marks on the receipt if you didn't actually check the order?!?? Then when you try to contact someone the only way to do so is through email and the response time is 1-3 business days. The last two times no one ever responded. The one cashier working at lunch time was so slow. She took my order and would not give me my bagels to go. She made me wait more than 10 minutes while she Rang up other customers. This is not correct. She kept asking for help. No manager was helping a new employee at lunch time. They need 2 cashiers or a manager helping. She was so stressed and unhappy. I am a huge fan of Panera, but this location in Kyle is the most disappointing I've seen. Its interior is not the cozy homey typical Panera, but instead a deli-subway type style. It just screams "get in, but your stuff, and leave" because its tables and chairs are so uncomfortable. I'm a college student and love paneras for studying. I typically can sit all day and buy my coffee and meals, but I can't even study 1 hour here without feeling like I need to leave. The service and food, all exceptional still. I'm just really truly disappointed that they chose to have such a small sq. footage business in their Kyle location, forcing them to have such an unsatisfactory and disappointing sit-in experience. read more

Today, my wife and I were really excited to try out this new location, but it ended with great dissapointment. When we arrived the place was busy and it was good that they had two employees at the the register with to tablets running as you walk inside. The employee that took our order was patient as we looked over the menu to decide what we want to eat. I would like to say that it would have been nice if she have asked if I have a rewards account to accur points. Come to find out as well that my wife could have choice of chips, apple or baguette which was not asked while we order her pick two soup and salad. They just automatically give you the baguette. The employees should be trained on to ask questions to the guest or at least give then options. They were out of the French Dip by 1:30 pm so I decided to order the whole Chibatta Cheesesteak. After we ordered and got out drinks we decided to eat outside since it was a nice day also when we arrive there wasn't any guest that were out there at that time. I notice that the outside potion had a lot of trash on the ground that looked like it sat there for a long time I wasn't expecting anything emaculant just picked up. You can tell how nice a restaurant is base on how well they keep there dining area clean. The outside was definetly neglected. It took about 20 min for our order to be ready. After I got our order, I sat down I could tell just by looking at the sandwich that there wasn't hardly any meat on it and when I opened the sandwich there was less than 3oz of meat for the whole sandwich ( I would say 1.5 oz of meat on each half). I sat there and really contemplated on taking it back to get a refund and eat somewhere else. My wife's salad was good but the chicken and wild rice soup was less the mediocre. The soup was warm not hot like a soup should be. I did go to the window and let a shift lead or manager know that my sandwich was mostly bread and her solution was to give me more meat. I was reluctant to give that I try. However, when I did get the the meat it was only enough for half of the sandwich. I would say it was less than 4oz on one half of the sandwich and the other half had like maybe 2oz. For a $12.50 sandwich you would think you would get more. I know this is a NEW LOCATION but during the start of a new resteraunt you should really focus on putting effort into the food as well as the service you provide. I feel as though this new location is being neglectful and not trying as hard as they should be doing. The start of any new resteraunt could make it or break it during the first 6months of being open. I hope they still have time to turn things around. read more
