This review is for the service/ordering system at Panera-known as Fast Kiosk checkout. I've just wasted twenty- excruciating minutes of my life that I will never get back thanks to Panera's ordering system. After typing in my order through the touch screen tablet....I counted four times that the machine "timed out" as it couldn't process the order. One hurdle after another and I finally swipe my credit card- sign the pad for approval- only to tell me that it is "timed out" again. The screen clearly shows my card information has been entered. An employee finally strolls over; senses my frustration and I explain what appears to be going on. Her response:" Yeah- that's the broken one." Holy Sh$& balls sister! Perhaps a sign on the tablet telling customers this BEFORE they waste their time and put their financial info. Into it? Big fail on this visit..... read more

Ordered a full size Southwest Chicken salad and it was pretty much the same size as my husband's "you pick 2" version, except that mine had nothing but lettuce, some chicken, avocado and tortilla strips. Salad should have onions, peppers and corn in it. I legitimately had 2 pieces of corn. Next time I'll skip spending $28 at Panera and go down the street to Bull and Bear and spend $30 and get 2 HUGE salads that come with everything on it. read more

I frequent this location often . On occasion they are out of items, I get it. We went there today and they were out of the salad I usually order, the soup I usually order, and they didn't even have the bread ! It's Panera BREAD! read more

Consistent food, tastier than other fast food, only costs a little more. It's funny people say Panera is healthy food. The bread they use for sandwiches is literally sugar-coated. The salad dressings have a lot of sugar. All the starches they use to bulk up the more costly proteins in the meals are essentially simple sugars, fruit smoothies are liquid sugar, Coke and lemonade and sweet tea are all sugar. If you order things that have more vegetables and skip the corn syrup dressing, it's better than other fast food. The service is basically good, very fast. Counter help is very pleasant, some quicker than others. Ordering online to pick up when you get there is really convenient - makes it possible to go out for lunch while at work. Tonight my daughter was fired from Panera in Clay, NY. Its ok to fire someone. Its how teens learn how to be responsible. However, she was let go because I didnt leave her home alone to go to work over Thanksgiving. To make things worse, Rachael, the evening manager, had her work the entire shift and fired her on her way out, making jer walk the green mile to the parking lot. That's just wrong. Moreover, Rachael even said to Anna, "Your parents need to understand that you have a job." As if i will allow my 16 year old daughter to stay home alone while the family is away an entire holiday weekend. I called Rachael and let her know that I support her decision, but question her professionalism in letting this linger for a month, blaming me for making her go, and waiting for Anna to actually work an entire shift knowing she would end the night without a job. I ask that all my friends, especially those in pharma stop ordering meals for our docs from the Panera Bread in Clay. Move all your business to either Cicero or Camillus. I hope that Rachael may never walk the green mile or have her parenting be the reason for a teen losing her after school job. read more

I visited this particular Panera Bread for a morning cup of tea once. It was pretty standard and similar to the other Panera Bread restaurants that I've been to. I remembered that it was sort of crowded that morning but we still managed to find seats. read more

I love coming here, however, the last few times I've come i haven't been overly impressed. The bread bowls are smaller than they used to be, but still the same price, more bread than soup in it for what you pay for. Also, bought the 4 cheese grilled cheese and it was beyond pathetic. Hardly and cheese and what was there was blobbed in the middle and the crust of the bread was burnt all the way around. Very sad. read more

Perhaps it's a case of the wrong day at the wrong place at the wrong time but not the best experience. All the order kiosk pads were being used so I stepped up to the counter to place my order with a real person. Except there was no one there. Waited close to 5 minutes before one person came out to take my order. That person did offer an apology for my waiting without a prompt from me. Ordered the Cuban sandwich but was told that they were out of ham. So why bother? Ordered the turkey chili instead. Tasty though a bit spicier than anticipated. But I really had my heart set on the sandwich. So my question is how can Panera Bread be out of ham at 6:45PM on a weekday night? read more

I brought my 8 and 9 year old and walked out paying adult prices for their food somehow. My sandwich was small and kept falling apart. Food tasted good, hence the 2 rating. But was clearly not worth the price. read more

I placed an online order mother's day morning. I was bringing my mother her Mother's Day breakfast. I prepaid & added a tip. I got to the restaurant & they had sold my order! Then they wanted to know if I wanted my credit card credited! (Of course I did). Why bother using the online ordering system if they clearly don't pay attention to it. Very disappointing. read more

I love their food, most of it's healthy, and everything tastes amazing!!! It also has a good amount of vegetarian and vegan friendly options which is nice to have so your not just stuck eating carrots with a glass of water while everyone else is eating a meal which you can at a lot of other restaurants. 98 our of 100 Times the service is good, they don't take long to serve, are friendly, and hardly make mistakes. This last time they did forget my baguette with my pick two order, and I hope their delivery system will soon branch out to farther away distances, so we can order in more often. read more

Sandwiches are always good. Bread bowl too. My only complaint is 2 orders of Mac & Cheese for the picky teenager will run you about $16.00 and the portions are tiny. Macaroni is pretty much the cheapest food there is.... I won't go again when the fussy teen is in the car with us, sixteen bucks buys a lot of chinese. read more

The food is all ways good here but tonight the service and dining room was terrible Saturday night 11/12. They botched the order and then didn't want to fix it until Explained just how badly they dropped the ball. Before I could sit with my family I had to have the table cleaned. There was food on most tables and garbage on the floor, I mean the entire dining room was a mess. There's got to be a better Panera Bread around. read more

I frequent Panera when I need a quick meal that won't make me sick as most fast food does. While ordering during rush hours over the past months there have been a few bad employees who completely got the order wrong or were just plain rude, but they are no longer working there. It is fairly consistent, sometimes they forget to give me a cookie I ordered and the next time I go back I say they forgot my cookie before and they give me a free one without any hesitation. The employees I see now are very friendly and professional. If I am unsure of what I want they give me more time without making me feel rushed, though I only do this when there isn't a line behind me as I don't want to be "that guy." I bring my new puppy through the drive-thru with me now and they offer me a tiny sugar cookie for him for free (after asking if it's okay), so my dog loves going there now. While I agree with the past reviews about bad service it seems that management has corrected this problem and I have had nothing but pleasant experiences over the past month. If you were one of the people who had a bad experience in the past I recommend giving this location a second chance. Bring along your furry friend for a fee treatPlease keep in mind I usually go through the drive-thru as many panera's are quite busy and often have noisy children, not their fault. read more

I love Panera food! It's amazing! If the price were a little better I would eat there more regularly. The seating at this particular Panera is awful at main meal times.
